They've done alot of work on the space and it looks great...and I know that their main focus is on the coffee, but we were not thrilled with the hot chocolate: it wasn't hot (merely warm-fish) and it wasn't very chocolate-y, either, and we were surprised that it wasn't better. Champagne Chocolates, just a block or so away, would have been a better choice for us...but we did enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance at Black Cat and we'll be back to sample their coffee on our next visit.

A bit of background on my obsession on coffee, I am not an individual that drinks a cup of joe with 500 syrups and 80 cups of milk and say "this is the best coffee EVER!" The drive thru is narrow but the wait time was a bit long and the person at the drive thru didn't seem enthusiastic. Overall, I did enjoy the coffee but I do not see the hype. It basic coffee, nothing that stands out from the rest. I must say the coffee was a bit overpriced, it did not match the quantity. Would I recommend this place to others? I would, only if you're in the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way (20 min) to grab a coffee from this spot.
