We arrived as a group of five travelers looking for a break on a road trip. I was the only one who did not order a drink. This was a classic human error, but my companions allowed me to steal sips of theirs anyway. The iced Great White Buffalo was smooth and sweet, which is a nice thing for a liquid to be. The iced lattes were exactly as they should be. But the real triumph was the Calamity Jane, which contains espresso, white chocolate, and huckleberry. One of my friends could not make up her mind. The moment I heard the word huckleberry, I urged her to order it. Luckily, I had given excellent advice. She was pleased. The prices here are suspiciously reasonable. A plain drip coffee is only two dollars, and the fancy signature drinks are five fifty. This feels like a bargain in a universe where people are routinely overcharged for lesser beans. The young woman running the entire show was polite and warm, as if they actually enjoyed being alive and preparing drinks for strangers. Another server that was up standing at the POS system by our table continuing to just walk passed us. If our server was busy, then as a team help. I finally got up to talk to the hostess who got us drinks. She asked around who the server was and finally the guy working took us only because I feel I was standing wondering the same thing. As he was taking our orders, the curly haired server with her hair up kept interrupting him. Had to ask for boxes, had to ask about the pie, had to get up and find someone to pay our bill. It was not busy at all, it seemed every server had time to just sit and talk so I'm unsure as to why we couldn't even get water. Not one worker smiling. No manager. No apology from anyone besides the hostess. Do not come here, many other places to go to.
