I like shopping at the Publix in this plaza so sometimes before or after, I'll grab a coffee at the drive thru. I don't think I've ever been inside at this location, but the window service has always been fast and friendly. I don't like my drinks too sweet so I usually say to go less than half on the sweetness and they always get it right... no complaints here. read more

Starbucks employee at the window was beyond rude. My mother has a hearing loss and was trying to talk to the worker who kept talking over her and was dismissive. There were no other customers in line at the drive thru and the employee acted as if we were bothering her by trying to order. Far better service at other locations. read more

I visited Starbucks with a nonprofit board colleague to try the 2022 holiday drinks. It wasn't packed for a Friday afternoon during the holiday season. They were properly staffed, so we didn't have to wait long. Inside has only a few "comfy" chairs, but there's a community table for groups and lots of tables for working. The "booth" seats also have plugs underneath for your laptop or other devices. My sugar cookie latte with soy milk was delicious, and my colleague devoured his Frappuccino (men love sugary drinks too!). We sat outside on a pleasant day, and I noticed wastebaskets are outside now. The only drawback to this Starbucks is that parking and the drive-thru can be a little tight, and we saw two "almost-wrecks" in the hour we were there. read more

Ordered my tall caramel macchiato extra hot with No Foam via app to pick up in store. Was happy to see it was ready when I arrived and it was extra hot as ordered. But I order no foam so I don't end up missing out on so much drink. That didn't happen as you can see from my pic. I was already running late for an appointment so I was not able to have them remake it. I don't order from Starbucks frequently because I like to make a treat when I do and like to make sure i get my moneys with. To top it all off, when I took a sip the lid had a hole in it and it spilled down the front of my nice clean white sweatshirt. Get crazy in the mornings best way to get coffee there is order in app and pick up your order vs driving through the drive thru. Friendly staff, and they do offer puppicinos. Dragon Fruit drink is my fav. This a really convenient location on Sam Rittembergin West Ashley. It has indoor and a small outdoor seating , ample parking space. read more

This is now my primary location; right by my office and gym. I love coming here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I am remembered by name, my drink is (almost) always correct, and they are super speedy. Regarding the music and atmosphere, I like that it's upbeat and fun. It's why I like going there. By now everyone knows how much of a Starbucks junkie I am. No really I am. So much so my best gift for Christmas this year was Starbucks gift cards that totaled over a $100. Anyway I really like this location because it has a drive through and it's close to home. Regardless if I can remember how to navigate the difficult parking lot to get here. Who makes a parking lot like that? Were the planners high when they designed the parking lot in this center? I digress. They just recently applied for a License to sell ALCOHOL!!!! Are they trying to kill me? Do they not want me to ever leave? Is this New Orleans? Will I be able to get an adult beverage via drive-thru or Mobile Order?! (mind blown)! Again, I digress. So they are very standard in their coffee making abilities and customer service skills. I do want to point out something I've noticed. They have yet to have a mobile order ready when I get in. The other Starbucks I've been to have my drink on the counter labeled Mobile Orders with my name in it. This place always seems to wait until I get there. Is it just me? Anyway it doesn't usually take too long to make my drink but when there's a line in the AM, I need my Venti Double Shot Non-Fat Hazelnut Latte Xtra Foam Upside Down at 189 degrees! This particular Starbucks is right on Sam Rit, near the Publix. Nice spot with a drive through (always a plus). Staff is always very friendly. We used to hit this spot a lot when we lived in WA- it was super convenient, especially with the grocery store next door. Parking is pretty plentiful. The bonus of being attached to a massive shopping center is that you can snag a spot elsewhere if you need! They seem to always have dark roast coffee available, which is a huge plus for me. Many other locations often don't have it brewing! The interior is nice. The layout here feels a little bit different than some other Starbucks around, and it's a welcome change. This Starbucks is conveniently located, has friendly staff, and makes sure to get all the orders correct. They have a drive-thru, which is really convenient when it's raining and/or you are in a rush. The free WiFi was very helpful to me when I first moved to West Ashley and had to wait a week for my cable installation appointment. In fact, they saved me because I had loads of work to do and was in desperate need of an internet connection! They have plenty of seating, including tables with chairs, long tables for people to use their laptops, and comfy couches and chairs. The electrical plugs are conveniently located in case your laptop needs to be charged. Bathrooms are clean and well-stocked. Two recommendations: Speed up the service, as they have a tendency to be slow and I would also recommend they put a garbage bin outside so that one does not have to go inside to throw away their rubbish. read more

This Starbucks location in West Ashley is a good Starbucks and they are very efficient at getting everything prepared. If you are in a hurry this is a good Starbucks to be in and out as they work hard at making sure everything is right. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here. This is also a really good place to have a business meeting or find a place to work as they have plenty of places to sit and plenty of outlets. read more

It's really a 3.5, but I bumped it up to a 4* because of the Clover machine. If you have never had the Clover, you really should. The reserve blends made on it are very amazing. This location used to be a 5* spot, but unfortunately, over the past 6-10 months or so, it seems like the staff has suffered turnover and has been really "worn down." Or it could be that way when I am there. They are friendly, but just seem to be stressed. Also they seem to run out of display case items swiftly. My experience on the weekends has been great! The staff has always been really friendly and cheerful and the service is fast. The experience during the weekdays... not so much. Usually not much is said to you other than to take your order and service is pretty slow. Forget trying to speed things up with mobile order. One occasion I had mobile ordered, arrived to pick up my drink and it wasn't ready. The staff behind the counter saw me waiting, looked directly at me several times, but nothing was said to me. After waiting for a while I finally asked a gentleman who had just arrived on shift if my order would be ready soon. At that point one of the girls who had looked directly at me several times then said..oh we're out of that coffee. What?! They were just going to let me stand there. I ended up being late for work that morning. That's pretty much a typical week day here. read more
