I've been to this specific location quite a few times. After today's experience though, I doubt I will be back. I ordered through the app and when I got there they had no customers but the ambience was very stand offish and lackluster. When I got my order it didn't look right. I questioned the worker and they assured me it was and I drove off, thinking maybe it just looked different only to find out the worker lied to me. They messed up on it 3 different ways and when I drank it, it was VERY obvious. I'm very disappointed and will not recommend this Starbucks to others in the future. First time ever here, and my first time ever being in Wyoming and let me tell you, i was craving coffee so this was the first coffeeshop that we came across since being on the road & LET ME TELL YOU... they need to be trained more. I ordered 3 drinks and they fucked up on 2 of my drinks which were REGULAR STARBUCKS FRAPPUCCINO DRINKS, a caramel frappe & a double chocolate chip frappe, now I'm unsure as to how they would fuck those drinks up since they are standard Starbuck menu drinks lol. I used to work at Starbucks and I am from Washington so I am really anal about my drinks but I'm for sure not gonna come back lol they just need to be trained more and watching them make my drinks, they were so flustered and kept looking at the cup second guessing on how to make it. read more

My experience with them using the mobile app has been laughable at best. Undercooked food, missing items from order, show up and wait for an additional 5 mins after arriving at discussed time. City Brew is right up the street I would suggest going there. read more

People who complain about rude baristas have zero empathy for the working class. First of all, realize that food service workers encounter the rudest customers on the regular; all the time. Are you really going to make things worse for them by complaining about some little micro-interaction that left you feeling offended? Get over it. Baristas have one of the fastest pace jobs out there, handcrafting every single drink that comes through the store, and are still only paid minimum wage. I digress: next time you stop in and encounter a stressed out barista, just show some empathy to them. Be a decent human being, that doesn't treat retail workers like robots. MUCH better than the East side Starbucks! Comfy couches, a fireplace, and way more room to spread out. I think it's also a bit less crowded than the other one. It's a decent place to come set up your laptop or study or whatever. The staff is always nice and they try to get to know the regulars. And say what you will about Starbucks, but at least they have accomodating hours, not like some of the other coffee shops in Casper...Ahem, the METRO. read more

Since the change in management this past summer Starbucks on CY in Casper Wyoming has gone steadily downhill. I'm a worldwide supporter of Starbucks, but have continued to have serious concerns about the service at this branch. The weekend service in the store has been neglected in favor of the drive thru. There is one barrister designated for the drive thru and the other serves both the store and drive thru. I and my colleagues have met in the store on the weekends for several years and the past two weeks waited over 20 minutes to get our drinks although there was only one customer in front of us when we ordered. This morning was the absolute worse experience I've had in any coffee shop. At the drive thru, the barrister argued with me about the drink I ordered, then 're--made it correctly and went on to rudely state that people don't work there forever, so I should realize that when my drink isn't right! This unpleasant atmosphere and poorly organized service is unacceptable in any place of business and a disappointment for a Starbucks. read more

My dad's a regular here, so when I'm home our stops are daily. I like coming here - the baristas and the managers are friendly, which is nice. However, as a coffee shop aficianado (and a former barista), I have a few critiques that are prompted by years of coming here: 1) They always seem to be behind on brewing fresh drip coffee. We have had to wait 5+ minutes for a new pot to be brewed. This a coffee shop staple, so pay attention, baristas. 2) I drink my brew black, but my dad adds milk and more often than not the canister is empty or almost-so. Again, a good thing to monitor at a coffee shop. 3) Boxes everywhere! This baffles me. There always seems to be an unloaded shipment sitting in the merch area. Maybe there's not room in the back, so I shouldn't blame the employees who didn't design the store... but it's sloppy. Reminds me of my unpacked basement. Overall, I like the employees and that there are always people hanging out, which makes for a nice vibe. One pro tip: the parking lot can be a death trap. Oh, and if you park in the lot outside of the main area and it's even a tad gusty, you just may get your car doors blown off. Gotta love a business park along the Casper Mountain range. read more

Just got coffee and they had a new kid who got my order wrong. I asked for iced and they gave it to me hot. Not a huge deal. I mentioned it and the chick training the kid rolled her eyes and pursed her lips. I'm not a mean person at all and I rarely would ever say an order is wrong so this is really disheartening. She also started being really loud and complaining. I roll my eyes at people too but not so they can see it. Duh. That's just common sense. Like it's your fault you got it wrong. I get the same thing every day and I know exactly what I order. It's just a drink lady. No need to be so rude. Maybe need to go back to the tolerance training. read more

Horrible iced coffee at this location. I received a free iced coffee because the first one tasted horrible....second one just as rancid.

NOT impressed. Had issues with this store before - this morning - disorganized, uninspired, no sign of management, long wait, drink was nowhere near full in the cup... I expect BETTER of Starbucks... perhaps I'll start going to City Brew!!! read more
