We ordered two protein lattes. However, after paying we were told that they could only make one. We asked to have the one and a large drip coffee. Although the latter is significantly cheaper than a protein latte we were not offered a refund or something to make up for the difference. I find this somewhat disappointing to be honest. Moreover, the one protein latte did taste more like a regular latte. Next time I'd drive a bit longer to another Timmys.

First, they spelled my very simple name "Susan" as "Suzan." Are you kidding me? It's printed on my rewards account! Then I waited a whole SIX minutes for my extra-hot, half-caf, oat milk, no-foam, three-pump vanilla latte. Meanwhile, people who ordered after me somehow got their drinks first. I don't appreciate being ignored. When I politely pointed this out, the barista smiled and said, "Thanks for your patience." Excuse me? I wasn't being patient--I was being inconvenienced. Maybe listen to your customers instead of assuming they're okay with poor service. The tables weren't spotless, there was one napkin on the floor, and the music was so loud I could barely hear myself complain. I've been coming to Starbucks for years, and the standards have clearly gone downhill. I expect professionalism, accuracy, and a little respect. I'll be taking my business elsewhere... until next week when I need my coffee. One star.

Located on ground level on 1st and 13 Ave. It was steady but not overly busy when I arrived. This location is clean and one of the nicest Starbucks I have seen. Ordered up a Venti late (yes, it was that kind of morning) and spotted the pastries that were calling my name. Settled on a lemon loaf....yes, just one. They had three people working, which makes me believe they are fairly busy, however with only three customers in Starbucks, everything was done quick. In and out within minutes. Service was quick. Latte and lemon loaf were good. Ample seating inside.

It tasted a bit off from my first sip. I promptly returned it and asked for a new one. The new one tasted just right. Who knew just a tiny sip would lead to stomach pains in the evening, and then frequent visits to the toilet late in the night. I've had this experience before at different locations. (I'm pretty sure at market mall.) They deal with milk on the counter. Sometimes it's been sitting on the counter too long, or has been previously steamed a few too many times. The new husband and wife team are lovely, welcoming people although I think her lack of English forces her to rely on her on husband for translation. The coffee is good, the baked goods are decent, but don't seem to be baked in house. The Korean dishes look good. The shop itself badly needs an update. Years ago, the walls were painted with a design of postage stamps and travel themes and it has become tired and dirty. The bathrooms are truly awful. My biggest criticism is the handling of the cream and milk for your beverages. For some reason, the owner keeps the cream and milk in insulated pitchers in a fridge behind the counter so the staff, he or his wife, usually pour the cream for you. This results in an unpredictable amount being poured and it means going back for more if it is not enough and the addition of more coffee, if it is too much. The owner maintains that this control is to keep the products fresh, but it seems more like a cost control to me. The pitchers are thermal and should keep the contents cold.outside the fridge and I have never seen this done in any other coffee shop, ANYWHERE. IT IS VERY ANNOYING.

Asked for two cream, was directed to a station off to the side where the cream and sugar was. I didn't realize I was paying extra to have to make the coffee myself. Went over to add cream. Carafe was empty. Asked her to refill the cream, she rinsed it with tap water and handed it back to me. It was basically just her dirty dish water. This is all completely unacceptable, and I told her as much. Side note, while I was waiting for the five minutes, another woman asked to used the washroom since it was locked. The helper lady (a different person) acknowledged her, but then continued to grind beans and organize cabinets while this woman was doing the bathroom dance right there, before finally seeing to the bathroom key. Just beyond unacceptable.
