I've been going to this Starbucks since high school, and I got to stop back by while I was in town last time. Ah, old memories. The aroma of coffee on a dreary Bristol morning, the sound of baristas yelling out orders, and people from all walks of life in to grab a cup. Pretty cool place. Overall, the service here has always been consistently good, with a few bad times. Guess we can't all be perfect, and Lord knows I've been at this location enough to see just about every face that's been working in there (there's not much to do in Bristol, ok??). One thing I still wish they would change is the music volume! Whether you're there to study or meet up with a friend, you can't hear yourself think sometimes with how loud that stuff is!! Aw what a buncha southern sweethearts serving us this morning. They were very entertained by our dry, blunt, New England sense of humor... the repartee between me and my co-worker, who were together on a long road trip to the Bristol area. He made fun of me, I made fun of him... it was a dog and pony show, unintentionally. They gave us a huge discount on our coffees. Maybe an employee discount... not sure... don't want to accuse anyone of doing anything wrong! But anyway, it was a very nice gesture. And even though I'm not a huge Starbucks fan, I seriously enjoyed my iced coffee. And that's not so much praise for Starbucks, but praise for THIS particular one... they care about making sure the coffee they serve is really good, and representing the brand well. I have went to this Starbucks many times and it was always great, but yesterday I had a bit of a different experience. I pulled my mask down just a little to order because it was very tight on my face and I didn't think she could hear me. The girl tells me to pull my mask back up before I can order and about 5 minutes later, I witness her bringing my wrap out of the oven and placing it in a bag with NO GLOVES ON. This is absolutely disgusting, I understand masks are for protection but do not tell someone to pull their mask up and then touch their food with your nasty hands. My family moved to Bristol a couple of years ago and we have been coming to this Starbucks since they moved there. The staff is sometimes slow. I will get that out there now. Not all of them, not all the time, but some days they are just really, really slow. That said, the staff has always been great. Last Christmas they had a sale on the Verismo V coffee machine with the hot/cold electric milk frother. They had just ended the deal where four boxes of coffee pods came with it but they still gave me the deal because when I initially asked about the deal the guy I spoke with didn't know that part ended so they still honored it... very cool of them. They also only had the display model left and I agreed to take it. After trying everything out the frother wasn't working and when I brought it back, the manager didn't even question it, she just took that one and told me to grab another one off the shelf and asked me how we liked the Verismo. She seemed genuinely concerned that we were happy with our purchase which was very nice considering when I think Starbucks, I think money hungry corporation. Bottom line, sometimes they are slow, if you mobile order your order will probably be ready when you get there, the staff is for the most part great, and the manager was awesome. read more

I come here every week to get a coffee and work on my laptop. I've gone to a lot of of Starbucks and this one probably has the best customer service consistently every single time I come in. I get greeted with a smile and a welcome in and they accommodate to anything I need. I accidentally ordered a grande when I meant to do a venti and they just made me a whole other venti when it was my own fault! I also witnessed a very very rude customer and I think it was the manager, handled it like champ and so professionally and kindly, but at the same time did not accept any profanity. Is it weird that I noticed their lack of uniforms at this location? Usually you'll find most baristas wearing tan pants and black shirts. However, this location has fashionista baristas. Hardly ever a line and it moves very quickly. Love that I can face time from the parking lot on their free Wi-Fi. Employees are nice and welcoming of we foreigners. Nice little Starbucks. The location is right off the highway for travelers like myself. Even though it looks small from the outside its actually fairly open on the inside. Not too much seating. Seems pretty clean. Good number of options for bakery items. The staff seem to work fast and the line moves quick! Beware though, this Starbucks seems like it'd be fairly busy a lot. The second slowest Starbucks I've ever been too. It wasn't a busy time, but they couldn't seem to move customers fast enough. Once at the window we waited another good 10 minutes for one of our drinks. And you could tell the inside wasn't busy either. The barista was okay, but not overly nice or attentive. Now I know why they call the new coffee at Starbucks "Flat White"... Sherwin - Williams had already patented the term "semigloss"... This coffee tastes like it was made from ground-up newsprint pictures of coffee beans. Flat? Kansas is flat. This stuff is bland. George Blanda bland. Far from the best Starbucks I've been to, but right off of I-81 and next to Sams (if that's where you also try to fill up). Be prepared for somewhat slow service and heavy crowds, but on our two trips drinks and food have been prepared correctly. read more

I frequently stop at Starbucks to break up travel . So I have been to MANY types of locations .The staff at this location was amazing . This staff is really excellent at helping customers get into using the mobile app, and earning stars . I have had the app since day one , however did not use it or it's Benefits often . This staff energized my whole group about the app , and even helped some of the less tech savvy ones navigate the process . Coffee was done right , clean and prompt location . I almost exclusively use the drive-through here at this Starbucks, and today my sorority sisters and I decided to pile into one car and not go inside to order. We had Deven take our order, and he is the kindest, most considerate person I have ever encountered. We had four drink orders that were all modified in some way, and he was very patient and friendly while we figured our drink orders out. When we got to the window to pay, we had another lovely barista help us out (I wish I caught her name- she was very nice!). We wanted to thank Deven personally, and he was kind enough to spare a minute to talk to us as we demanded, haha. Cory is rude. After finally figuring out how to charge my free birthday drink, the order was wrong. Instead of a venti iced mocha, it was a venti iced vanilla latte. I am a very loyal and regular Starbucks customer and when I mentioned the drink was not what I ordered, Cory told me I was wrong. Then I tasted it and he still insisted I was wrong and that the soy milk made the mocha look light. Not true at all. Finally, he agreed to remake it. He did so after filling everyone else's order in line. Really? Maybe I make my own coffee at home next time. read more
