An average Starbucks store, located as part of the ESSO petrol/service station on Rooley Lane, a short drive away from Bradford town centre, the store features a seating area with a good amount of comfortable seating and a drive-thru.
The barista who served me seemed friendly enough, but the other staff members working seemed disinterested in anything other than their phones, that being said the store was strangely very quiet for a Saturday, so they didn't have much to do, other than standing around and doing nothing.
I ordered a Venti Iced Vanilla Latte with Whipped Cream, as my first choice beverage, the Cold Brew was out of stock. I asked the barista if they normally had this, and they explained that it isn't very popular so they rarely make it - again, fair enough, but when it is a menu item which is being advertised on posters inside and outside of the store, it feels strange they are promoting a product so heavily which they don't have?
My beverage was fine, I do recall paying slightly more than usual as this is a franchise location.
Probably wouldn't visit this particular branch again, but it is a useful location with a drive-thru, which is open into the late evening. 3* read more
