Terrible service!! I will never come to this location again! The guy who took my order was cold... barely looked at me. And didn't ask my name for drink so it sat on the counter for 10 minutes. When I asked for whipped cream because it had dissolved by then she looked over at male cashier and snickered. Won't EVER come back to this location. I went to this Starbucks location and the employees kept messing up my order. The manager had horrible customer service. He was very rude and disrespectful. My daughter also found a piece of hair in pumpkin loaf bread. Her drink was nasty and watered down. A stellar Starbucks in a stellar location with stellar service deserves a stellar review. Let's give 'em one, shall we? Since all of New England seems to be running on Dunkin, I like to consider myself the black sheep of coffee drinkers amongst all the other local Yankees. So, it should come as no surprise to anyone that I would seek out what few Starbucks we have around here. Once again, this one is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from my place of work. One thing that stands out about this location from other stores is their abundance of curbside pickup spaces. Most likely the case due to Mass's population and propensity to have commuting folks passing through for their initial cup o' java for the day, this little shop is ready to accommodate the hard working folks here in Bedford. The only thing I wish they set up differently is the location of their pick up area. I dunno...it seems like it should be closer to the entrance for easier access. They may have placed it on the other side to free up entrance traffic but...I dunno. Most of the other Starbucks I've been to have two entrances, so that might be why this is so weird for me. Anyways, if you're an avid mobile order person such as myself, this place has the system down. They don't seem to have a check-in feature still. So, I recommend placing your mobile order well enough in advance so that your drink is waiting on you and not the other way around. Bedford's Starbucks is worth 5 tall white mochas with an extra shot of espresso out of 5. read more

I've been going here on & off for months, mostly weekdays - sometimes to pick up a drink, sometimes to stay and work under a deadline. I have not been to this location in years, even though I live in Bedford. I tend to make my own coffee or I get it from the place with the golden arches for way cheaper. But I was meeting friends there the other week and so I went, and ordered a mocha coffee. I then sat and sat and sat (in one of the few available chairs...really, folks, can't you get even one more table and chairs?). Finally after 10-15 minutes I went to the bar and politely inquired whether my order was ready. A barista (if you could call her that) pointed to a cup sitting on the counter and said "It's been there for a while." The coffee was lukewarm. Now, I'm not a professional barista, and in any case I'm not super picky about these things. I didn't hear them call my name, in a tiny restaurant with about 4 customers. But you know, they have one job to do: serve customers coffee. If a customer doesn't come get his coffee, doesn't that spark the slightest motivation to call his name again, loudly? Or something? I guess this Starbucks location expects its customers to be aggressive and self-driven, because the employees certainly aren't. I mean, I get it. They have jobs in an industry with a desperate shortage of competent service staff. Everywhere you go, there are help wanted signs advertising high wages and tempting signing bonuses. The Whole Foods market nearby is offering $16 and $500! In these times, an employer is going to be grateful just to put some warm bodies behind the counter. I'll keep this one short. This Starbucks opened recently so I've only been a few times so far. Service is good, the layout is pretty poor, and the drinks are good as usual. You more or less walk behind the register to get to the bar, and you feel like they forgot a wall or something. Decor is nice as they have this very cool stained glass starbucks logo (see pic). Starbucks is gratefully consistent no matter where I go. This place didn't have the friendliest Baristas - but it is 8 degrees outside - and I'm a bit nonchalant as well. Not a lot of room to sit, maybe 5-6 small tables. So if you want to study - you probably have to get here early! Got my typical watered-down Expresso (aka Americano). First one came out cold - but the Barista didn't notice - but she quickly remedied the situation. read more

My last review and last time frequenting this location was 7 years ago. I thought perhaps they have improved over time so I decided to try it again today. For the family we had 4 drinks and 3 food items. One drink was made incorrectly and there were problems with 2 food items. I politely pointed them each out, and when I noted the drink was incorrect, the first response was that I was wrong, and then when the label on the cup didn't convince them, another barista soon did, but I got the silent treatment after that as she tossed the mostly-corrected drink at me. Love this Starbucks!!! Great customer service! This is my go to one. I'm there at least 3 days a week, and every time it's been spot on!! Yesterday i was in the acton area so I "thought" i ordered at that location. but my fingers hit the Bedford location in error as I said that location is my go to spot. I called and spoke with Sara and explained I would not reach Bedford for about half an hour. She delayed making my drink and was extremely patient and pleasant, as she is consistently when I go in. I visit this Starbucks often since its near my work. I've seen them go through many staff members - but the service is usually fast & friendly. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at this location. I especially appreciate the warm welcome, and often times the ability to know my order from the staff that's been around. You can definitely tell when there are new employees, but once again, I've never had a big issue. The parking lot can be a little tricky to get out of at certain times of the day. read more

I'm not a true Starbuck girl but I do like the fact that most times that I visit any of the chains, they are super nice. The bathrooms are clean. The regulars have taken their seats and are connected to the wifi and the music is always interesting. And they do mention when they have a special coming up. This is a great location. The service, staff and location make me happy to call it my "local Starbucks." Staff is pretty quick with picking up on what you like to drink; I think I'd been going a few times per week for just a couple of weeks before they picked up on what I like. QUICK HISTORY I worked at SBUX for 4 years. I made it my third place and my co-workers were like family. After leaving, I still maintained that relationship, regardless of the Stabucks I go to, I treat the baristas like my friends. I'm understanding when they are in training and struggle. I love Starbucks and visit stores regularly. SUMMARY That said, today I had THE WORST experience I've ever had at this store. It was particularly busy or anything. The barista that actually hurt me and another patron didn't seem to be in a bad mood, she was just too busy flirting to pay attention to the line (she skipped me) and the orders (forgot another patrons drink). DETAILS In detail, I was up at the register and she began helping the people behind me, taking their order,etc. She transitioned from register to bar so she could continue her advances with these gentlemen. Meanwhile, I was glared at for waiting by the register, even though I was skipped. Following, the barista dismissed all other beverages, focusing on her conversation with these gentlemen (giggling and repeating the order to ensure it was done correctly) while she completely forgot another patron's beverage. Five minutes later, the patron finally asked, "Where my drink?" and the drink was shoved at her. NEVER have I have I felt so dismissed at an establishment. I understand that we are a fast paced and often faceless society with our mobile orders and demand for instant service. However, when I place a mobile order ahead of time, my expectation is that it be ready within the 3-8 minute window offered up upon receipt of payment. This particular store has been slow in the past, but that was nothing compared the delay experienced this morning. 20 minutes after my order was placed I still had no food. Fortunately, I was able to contact customer service via telephone and was able to get a refund for my purchase. I don't know if it was a staffing issue or poor employee performance that caused the delay. I understand that things can get busy and the unforeseen can occur. However, that's where customer service comes into play. Had the woman at the cash register been even remotely sympathetic and apologetic, I likely would not be leaving this review now (the gentleman who made my coffee was lovely and very apologetic). Needless to say, this store has lost my business. I doubt that the loss of my business will have much of an impact, but as a consumer, that's the only power I have. Fortunately, Starbucks are plentiful here and there are plenty of other stores where I have not had to experience a similar wait. read more
