I've been coming here for several years now, and have to admit that the customer service at this location has been consistent- as in consistently bad. I'm not really sure as to why, given that these baristas never acknowledge you, never smile or make you feel welcome, never call out your drink order, and always seem as if you are a bother within their day. A real head scratcher with this store. While I find it convenient to stop here very early in the morning when traveling to OKC or late in the evening upon returning to Texas, this is probably the 1 Starbucks out of 100 that will have me reassess different caffeine options locally when traveling through Ardmore. Officially noping out at returning to this location. Will reconsider when the employees develop better attitudes and demonstrate less entitlement & snobbery. read more

I want to give a huge shoutout to the manager Cristy, and Maddie my server who were amazing at their job despite being down a machine. Everyone and I mean everyone at this Starbucks works well together, is kind to all and highly professional. They were incredibly busy, down one machine and a drive through line that was insane and they all kept a smile, were kind to me a hard of hearing woman and did their jobs really well! The service at this Starbucks used to be kinda bad but it is GREAT NOW! In the past I have come in here and felt ignored and even made to feel "less than" by the baristas before. Really weird vibe, but it seems like they turned over their staff or something! I came in yesterday and the service was amazing. A nice gal named Breezy helped us and was so patient, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. She went above and beyond. And our drinks were great! After the third try, I am sold. They have non-dairy options, good selection on food and the staff is willing to make suggestions. When did they get so polite?! Even on the drive thru despite being quite busy. My order was correct each time and they are very prompt. Its good study place around town with food, shade umbrella and windows. This location is halfway between Dallas and OKC and clearly the only Starbucks for miles around since it is always busy, no matter what time of day, based on our multiple stops here. It's not been perfect every time, but more often than not we have experienced well-made drinks and good service. Our last two visits we both received perfectly made lattes so I'm feeling the five star rating right now Hot tip: use the Starbucks app to place an order ahead to skip the long drive-thru line (if drive-thru is your thing) or the long line inside (which can be hit or miss.) Unless you hit it at an odd time, you will wait longer for drinks here no matter what. Sometimes the app won't let us order ahead but we still stop anyway and knowing in advance we'll be waiting makes it easier to bear...we stretch our legs and wait patiently, marvel at the lines and people watch...did I mention it is the only Starbucks for miles around? This is a traveler's destination. So as long as you expect that, it won't come as a shock that they are perpetually busy. Two stalls in the women's restroom instead of the usual Starbucks single restroom format is nice. There is usually a place to sit. The service is always friendly and consistent and the employees really seem to be trying their best. We always look forward to stopping here every time we do the DFW-OKC run. read more

Have stopped here twice in the last couple of weeks to and from Houston. Both times there has been no toilet paper in the women's restroom (one of the few Starbucks I have been to with designated gender bathrooms). And the restrooms were not clean. The coffee was normal for Starbucks. read more

I use this Starbucks because it is convenient for my travel to Dallas, but every time I do, I say I won't come back. I don't stop for a time & then the convenience of not having to wait until I get to Texas for coffee lures me back in. I would give 0 stars if I could. They constantly mess my order up, act like it's MY fault they are some of the rudest people you will ever come across. I walk in and stand at the register to be ignored by a blonde girl, no hello, no "i'll be right with you" nothing. This is the worst starbucks I have ever gone too. I ended up waiting 22 minutes in line at the drive thru a few weeks ago. Normally, I would have left. But after 10 minutes of only moving one space, I was curious just how long it would take me to get my drink. Twenty two minutes, guys. Currently? Standing inside their store. I didn't want a repeat of last time, and there were 7 cars in line. I got out of the drive thru line and had to wait for parking because every. Single. Parking. Space. Was. Filled. The inside isn't even packed. Most people are just sitting inside. They already have my money. So I'm stuck waiting for 13 minutes waiting for one iced caramel macchiato. I love driving through Ardmore to OKC and knowing there's a reliable Starbucks on my route. This is a standard Starbucks, a standalone with a drive-thru, it's always clean, and the employees are always sweet and quick. The bathrooms are large and not like traditional Starbucks bathrooms (at least the women's), it has two stalls rather than a single toilet, which is nice, and a baby changing station - not a bad feature for those coffee/tea lovers with babies! There's nothing particularly special about their drink/food offerings, typical Starbucks fare, but that's all well and good for a Starbucks. Consistency is key. read more

An impressively nice and large location. Big, clean, and new - with ample seating and workspace, making it a shame it's only a roadside stop for us (and, many I-35 travelers I'd imagine). They've even got an outdoor patio. Also, a bizarre number of Pokemon to be caught in their parking lot - given that there's not even a Pokestop nearby! CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS!! On four separate occasions this location double, triple, and even QUADRUPLE charged my credit card for my orders. After contacting my bank and being advised to try to speak to the store first, I went and kindly talked to the manager, who was also very polite, but extremely dismissive and unhelpful. Her response to her store stealing almost $100 from me in a month? She handed me a gift card and told me to call the number on the back of the card lol. GREAT customer service! I called the phone number on the card as instructed but after being on hold for 20 mins, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I need to contact my bank. You've got to be kidding me! Finally, after having to spend my entire work day morning correcting Starbucks mistake(s) and fighting to get my stolen money back, my bank was able to reverse the additional 7 charges. Starbucks is Starbucks- you either love it or hate it. So normally I wouldn't even review a Starbucks. But today I was one of "those" customers who asked the cashier if she'd cut my multiple baked goods items into 3 pieces each so that I didn't have to try and divide everything for my kids while in the car. The cashier was so pleasant and happily cut them all up and put the pieces in 3 bags so that each kiddo got part of the cakes and brownies. Thank you for this! This is a very busy Starbucks. They have a large seating area that is well kept and tidy. They have a decent parking lot but be prepared to park next door because it is always full. Drive thru is always busy. I've been here numerous times and it can be wrapped all the way around the building. I'm not sure if this is necessarily because they are busy.... because they might be the slowest drive thru in the Starbucks world. Probably worth looking in to. The staff is always friendly and courteous, so I can give up a little on speed as long as they are friendly. Overall a pretty good Starbucks. read more

This is a perfect little place to stop on the way home from Dallas, especially if you need a clean bathroom, caffeine and/or a little snack, but don't also need an actual gas station. As they continue to add more of the new snack foods (like protein boxes, fruit and cheese, fresh juices, etc) I'm sure it will prove to be one of the healthiest snack stops on I-35. One great thing about Starbucks: it certainly is consistent. The staff here was fast and efficient, and my drink was perfect. Restrooms proved to be clean and well-stocked. My heart went out to the kids being tutored in Algebra II. Just listening to them for a minute while I waited for my drink to be made me feel bad for them. read more

I was there everyday I was in Ardmore--they even remembered my name and my drink, and was super helpful with having my oatmeal & coffee ready in the morning before XTERRA Red River. I told the staff the night before right before they closed, and they had it ready in the morning. I just walked in, paid, and left. It was perfect--race mornings can be hectic w/ lack of time--this made things very effecient for me. Super awesome baristas and management at this Starbucks! read more

Great location right off I-35N. Incredibly clean. But I will say that every other location I've been to.. when I have a cup where I've obviously been to a Strbx in that day and have a gold card - I get a free refill. But apparently, here... you have to have been parked in the "lobby" prior to the refill. Kinda crappy as, listen here Miss Red Hair, I drop a lot of money at Starbucks on a daily basis... it doesn't hurt your pay check. Steps off soap box. This was probably the slowest Starbucks I have ever been in. We are from Texas and used to very quick service. We went inside and waited 25 mins for one tall Frappuccino. Our drink was 18th in line and one person was making drinks. Meanwhile, the cashier sat there with no one in front of her to help yet didn't offer to help the barista. On a different note, the bathrooms were also very unclean. This is the second Starbucks in Oklahoma who had very dirty bathrooms. My friend and I get breakfast here after church nearly every Sunday. We never go anywhere else, cause that would just be weird. I love the vibe of it here and I always feel better with an amazing cup of coffee. Yah sure it's on the expensive side, but it's soooo worth it. The employees are amazing and honestly I don't know how they do it sometimes. I have the upmost respect for them, making all of these wild drink orders and they're always perfect.
