As far as Starbucks goes, this is a pretty solid one. It's right off of the Southfield Freeway so it's fairly easy to get to although it is part of this larger strip complex and Allen Park (which can get crowded or a little bit of extra traffic to navigate if you're coming from the other side off of Oakwood Boulevard). I spent several hours here last week working and drinking my fair share of sweet cream cold brews and mango dragonfruit refreshers. The Internet/ Wi-Fi situation was very strong and I had no problems connecting while I was doing the mobile office thing. When I walked in at first I saw a fairly sizeable line, but actually most of the tables were open so it seems more like a "grab and go" type of Starbucks versus a "set up and work for a while" kinda spot. The Baristas are really nice, the space is clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of outlets available if you need to juice up. All in all a very solid Starbucks that is comfortable for grab and go and or working for a bit or taking meetings. read more

Ordered online at 2:57pm and received my order at 3:26pm. This store is drastically understaffed and they were out of every alternative milk option other than soy. Clearly management has no idea how to run this location, because this is completely unacceptable and instead of leading by example and jumping on the line a manager is nowhere to be found. I understand giving grace and empathy for an understaffed store but I was also charged $12 for two tall drinks, so I do feel like I paid for a particular experience that wasn't this one. Staff here are great. I work remote and pop in here from time to time to get a change of scenery. Drinks come out in a timely manner and they usually top off my iced coffee free of charge on my way out. They have cold brew and nitro at this location which is a perk for me. There is a good deal of comfortable seating and plenty of outlets for charging. I wouldn't have been looking for these things before, but now that I'm remote I love how accessible this location is. The free WiFi here is plenty fast for work stuff, and basic office work. Worth a stop if you are looking for a place to drink coffee and get some work done. read more

This Starbucks has very knowledgeable and friendly baristas. The place is always buzzing, but there's never much of a wait for your drink. I typically get a hot or iced black tea so I cna get free refills as a gold member. Once they ran out of black tea, but they let me know before they made it. I opted for green even though it isn't my favorite. Another time my husband's iced chai had berries from a refresher made just before it. I warned them that it could have been an allergy issue with the berry. They apologized, but did not offer to remake it unfortunately. We continue to come back for it's location. Overall everything is usually clean, well stocked, and the baristas are helpful. read more

I hate this starbucks. They make my drink wrong every other time. They run out of coconut milk and try to play off store bought milk in their drinks and won't even tell you about it. But trust me, you'll notice. The final straw is that they made my drink wrong, AGAIN, but this time made me sick as hell. i asked for a soy mocha frap, and I know she didn't use soy. I was having stomach problems before I had even finished the drink. Being someone who is lactose intolerant, and also vegan and hasn't had milk in years, I was seriously sick for about two days. The folks were way nice. It's a clean quiet corner location as well. Not one of the largest, but I will totally take it. Not far from a few major stores for the everyday needs and a gym and my fianceé's place so we can make our quick runs for the caffeine fix. I did have a one off situation with my breakfast sandwich being half mouth scorching hot and half fridge temp cold. They immediately apologized and fixed up a new one for me. Apparently the oven thing wasn't doing what it was supposed to do and they were able to get it situated before some hot headed weirdo got cold food and flipped out. Needless to say it was not that big a deal for me and the fact that they made me feel like they cared was more than enough. Way to go team! read more

I am extremely disappointed in this location again. I have had multiple issues in the past, made complaints and given them time to improve and yet they still disregard their customers, lack customer service, are extremely slow and careless with their service and products. I waited nearly 40 minutes beyond the estimated pick-up time for 2 drinks. I tried speaking with the staff multiple times to ensure they hadn't missed my order since they were calling orders with times 10-15 minutes after mine but they didn't seem interested in trying to help me and just said "yeah it's coming". I also tried to let them know they were still accepting mobile orders and was brushed off and told "yeah we know". When I finally got my order at 10:22 (9:44 estimated time) one of the drinks was made incorrectly and the other was missing and I had to ask for it to be made. I also watched as other customers were brushed off and told "yeah we're 40 minutes behind" then when one tried to tell them she couldn't wait any longer because her child was going to be late to their game they told her "oh well it's in the next few orders and we're not 40 minutes behind only 20" so after waiting another 5 minutes she left without saying anything. Not a single staff member ever apologized, greeted or say anything to a customer unless they had to and then seemed bothered by it but they were freely chatting between themselves about things unrelated to work or the situation at hand. read more

Starbucks! It's a Starbucks, not much to say outside of that. This is right on the corner of Outer Dr so it's easy to pop off M-39, grab a drink, and get back on to head to work. They are pretty busy, the busy times come in spurts, but I noticed anytime after 8 am it's usually pretty steady. Earlier it's pretty quiet, which I prefer as the barista's seem less harried. I've gotten specialty latte's, coffe, iced coffee, and americano's here. They are all very good. I've found their service to be swift, even when they are busy. The team behind the counter work well together, I've only seen a break-down once when someone was confused on how to make a drink behind the bar, but they fixed it in a manner of moments and the assembly line went on. Most of the patrons are grabbing drinks on their way to work, so they aren't too bad to stand near while waiting for your drink. Dealing with the morning rush, this location is efficient while still managing to provide the quality of coffee that you expect from Starbucks. read more

Rarely do I end up with a negative experience for as mundane a habit of getting my morning dose of caffeine. This is that rare corresponding review. Parking was easy inside the shopping complex and the queue was short. I ordered my custom White Chocolate Frappeccino for store Pick-up. What I got was an unappealing medley of condiments in espresso shots (as seen in pictures). The whip cream was lax and bubbles almost fermenting inside. They had dabbed the Dark Mocha Powder so haphazardly that I had it falling all over my table from outside the lid (as seen in pictures). And as I was reluctantly sipping this bitter 530+ calories of sugary Venti drink, a lump of quiet chocolate mold at the bottom just ruined the taste. Although the store was decent in all sense with friendly staff, I did not expect the experience from the Seattle based giant's cafe'. I wouldn't have mind a decently modest drink. After reading a few other reviews, I've realized that this location is either hit or miss. My visit was a miss. I walked in before work for a coffee with no one else waiting to order and wasn't greeted. The two people working the register decided to finish their conversation about some TV show they were watching the previous night instead of welcoming me and asking for my order. Mmmmmk... They took the order, made the drink, sent the drink out. No surprise there; pretty typical Starbucks stuff. What wasn't typical, though, is that they did this all without saying a single word.
