I stop by this Starbucks on occasion if I take the highway to work. I have stopped there twice recently after not being there for a while because they remodeled. My drink is very simple, Strawberry Açaí Refresher. The last two times it's been made wrong and made with Lemonade. Very disappointed that twice now my order was wrong. This has happened in the past there as well, but not as frequently. It is unfortunately one of my least favorite Starbucks to go to. Staff is nice, but wrong drink orders are no good. read more

This is the first Starbucks that I've been to where I was not greeted. I stood at the counter and waited for a bit to place my order. I was never acknowledged. I just ended up placing my order on the app to get it placed. I saw six employees around. The employees would call out the names like other locations, but that was it. No "have a nice day" or anything. The atmosphere was cold. Not the family like feel of others. I ordered a venti mango dragon fruit refresher with light ice and extra inclusions. This is YOUR presentation before gettinig your tasty treat. Being a previous manager I noticed and let them know last week. Thinking well they just don't know. Then I went back this week.....still there. So, I asked for the manager and presented the issue to her. Response, was to kindly justify their position of their drive-thru as that's what we have to do! Correction, I guess they just don't care! It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneous dictated by my cravings at any given moment. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. The Akron, Ohio Arlington Rd. Starbucks went above and beyond to make my daughter a "medicine ball" tea tonight when she wasn't feeling well! The young woman didn't make me feel stupid for ordering something that wasn't on the menu and even described the drink to after I ordered it! Then, when I picked up the drink and tried to pay for it, I was told someone a few cars ahead of me had already paid! Given this day in age I was so surprised, I didn't even notice the beautiful note on the side of the cup until I got home. So the new girl who served us was super sweet but however messed up on our order. It happens. So when I got my drinks and realized it was wrong. The "barista" tried arguing with me that what she made was what I Ordered and I had two other witnesses stating what I had ordered wasn't what she made. Staff was very kind! But.... We originally came in for a gift card and decided to get a coffee bc we were running errands. We ended waiting over 20 minutes for 2 things which caused us to be running late and stressing about getting to work on time. Im assuming they were prioritizing drive through which makes sense but I would not recommend ordering inside unless you have an hour to spare. Such a miserable location! Sat in the drive-thru for 20 minutes. It moved a total of 2 cars in that 20 minutes. Decided to do a mobile order and go inside instead, hoping it would be quicker. Nope. Waited for almost 30 minutes for the mobile order. So it ended up taking me almost an hour for a stupid coffee and egg bites. The staff all seem super friendly, but nothing at Starbucks should take that long to receive. If you're short staffed, close the lobby and focus only on drive-thru or vise versa. Not an ideal place to stop at on your way to work. Their drive-thru is always out to the road, parking and getting around in their lot is miserable b/c of this, and it takes forever to get your drink. Their drinks are always consistent which I don't find at all Starbucks. People that work here are always super friendly which is why I go out of my way to stop at this one. My only gripe is their parking lot is set up poorly and always makes me feel claustrophobic. That, and their drive through line can get crazy long (hence me writing this review while waiting in their drive threw line). Overall, one of the better Starbucks. Quick update: When I got to the window they told me that my drink was free and apologized for the wait. I have had many experiences with various Starbucks stores and have found that this store is by far the best Starbucks around for many reasons! 1. Exceptionally friendly staff! Always greeted by my first name when I have meet the barista before! 2. Very quick! They have a drive through so they have come to be quite efficient at drink making 3. Consistently good drinks! Every time! 4. Great layout of store - including very open style with some big chairs to read quietly with good window lighting and an assortment of various tables! 5. Good amount of electric outlets to plug your computer into! This is a must and I always know I can get a seat and be able to use my computer if I need to. Resident Starbucks guru here folks leaving yet ANOTHER review for your viewing pleasure. I know you sit on the edge of your seat waiting for my Starbucks reviews. Really, I can't blame you. They are awesome, I am humble and as always....honest. LOL Anyways, you gotta love a 24 hour per day Starbucks. Seriously, it is like a dream come true. If there were more of them I would just give up my home and become a Starbucks drifter. Gold status for life yo! Being that this location is 24 hours and located off a major interstate at a very busy exit....you can imagine how busy it is. Yes, this place gets packed and the parking here is like Christmas mass at a Catholic Church....INSANE AND SLOW! I have been here several times and I gotta say, they need to step up their game a little. While my drink always comes out correct, they are slower than most locations and everything always needs a good cleaning. Straw wrappers, spilled drinks and sugar packet dust.....OH MY. They really need to staff better to speed things up and keep up on the cleaning. They have a good amount of seating (although the layout is katty wompus) and have a nice patio out front. I have always found a place to sit. They have a large snack section and a full menu of drinks and warm foods. So, Starbucks eaters rejoice! This Starbucks is quite close to my house, so when I'm in the mood for covfefe or the sous vide eggs, I make my way to the Starbucks drive-thru. This morning, I ordered my usual: Iced Venti Americano w/ heavy cream and 3 Splenda, and the bacon gruyere sous vide eggs. Now if you know anything about the sous vide style of cooking, you know that it is impossible to burn the food. By impossible, I mean IMPOSSIBLE. So to my utter surprise, one of the sous vide eggs had burned bacon on top. Firstly, that indicates that they are not actually cooked sous vide OR they are heated up in an oven. Secondly, this Starbucks thinks it is okay to serve burned food to someone paying a ridiculous price for two eggs. I mean, c'mon. In any case, I do recommend the eggs, they are typically delicious. However, if you drive through this particular Starbucks, be sure to check your food before you leave the line. read more

The remodel was poorly thought out. The staff are overall pretty good. What they lack in speed they make up for in knowing the customers. Really am disappointed in this remodel. The service at the Arlington Rd. Starbucks was great. The food however was Meh. I've had the tomato & mozzarella panini before at another Starbucks location & it was really good. This time it was disappointing. $5.75 for what seemed like half a slice of mozzarella cheese? While most of it tasted good, there was maybe 3 bites that contained cheese. These rest of the sandwich was pesto & bread. Not what I would expect for paying $5.75 OR what I would expect from Starbucks. Very disappointed this time. read more

Worst service of any Starbucks I have visited. Have literally been in this one over 200 times, there are a couple baristas that are good, but seems focus is on drive thru, not inside. This by far one of the worst Starbucks in regards to slowness. It's unfortunate that, since it's right off the highway, it's ideal for people on their morning commute to work. However, it's very rare that I'm out of the drive thru in less than 10 minutes whether there is a line or not, making it almost impossible to stop before work. I also would not take my chances going inside because the drive thru line is always backed up into the very narrow parking lot and blocks parked cars in. read more

My view on this Starbuck's has completely changed in the last 6 to 8 months. The staff has been delightful and funny. It makes my morning walking into this location. Staff is super friendly and usually pretty fast. I usually use the drive thru, but I have been inside and it is a nice store. My biggest complaint is the parking lot. There are times the line wraps around the building and causes all the cars in the parking lot to be blocked. It doesn't help that the building is shared with a couple other businesses. read more

Your typical Starbucks fare, in a less-than-ideal location. I would NOT recommend this as a place to work during the day because of the windows - there are a TON, and it was freezing cold and impossible to get any work done. However, this is one of the few driver-thru Starbucks in the area, so if you're in a rush, you're good to go. read more
