I have read the other reviews and I believe the track owner has as well. It definitely felt like everything mentioned had been added, repaired or replaced. I particularly appreciated the food vendors with many choices for food and drink at a reasonable price no less. While yes this older small track could use some additional upgrades(new asphalt, markers for parking rows, repainting newly replaced bleacher boards). I personally noticed many improvements from the days of old. I believe they even offer a budget friendly $5 Friday once a month. Adults are $17 which is cheap for a regular race night. Hats off to the new owners(not sure how long that is).

Fortunately to my non-dismay, however, the staff that works at the beach house were kind enough to let me in to their beach house and pee in their toilet bowl in their beach house. They seem to be a fine group of young highschoolers. They were conglomerated around a table (inside of the beach house) discussing future improvements to the beach (and the beach house). Very responsible of them. As I exited the beach house, bladder empty, they sent me off with friendly smiles, and genuineness that only teenage lifeguards give off. 10 out of 10 would recommend as a place to stop in and use the bathroom in a beach house. We arrived around 5:00 PM and traffic was nonexistent, though by the time we left the lot was crowded, even after the holidays. The cold didn't keep us away, and we were so happy we finally went. It was absolutely worth the $25. Along the walk you can order food and beverages. I had the classic hot cocoa, which was perfect for such a cold night. There are also stand-up tower heaters throughout, which we happily nestled under to warm up before moving on. Each section of the walk had its own theme and music that tied everything together beautifully. The decorations and lighting were amazing, literally something to see at every step and it's a great spot for photo opportunities at every turn. Such a magical night and a memory I'll cherish with my daughter.

Except for massive swarms of big flying insects along the length of the river walk. No idea what they were, but had to cover my face at one point. I had brought Hannahbelle along since Deepak is hoping to get a dog at some point in his life. He wanted to practice leash walking and just generally get a dog fix. They hit it off. ;) Not a lot of green space, but some people were playing frisbee in the parking lot. Garbage bins are limited. They have a "bring it in, take it out" philosophy. And please make sure you have baggies to clean up after your dog. They're not supplied. The big draw is being able to walk adjacent to the Merrimack River, as part of the New Hampshire Trail System. It was lovely and calm today, but can be quite dangerous over those big rocks during spring thaw runs. Not unusual that first responders need to rescue people who aren't thinking, or daredevils who underestimate the power of fast moving water. Not all rescues are successful. :( Ample parking, though it is "pay and display", deposit your money at a machine and display the receipt on your car dashboard. Currently $.75/hour with a 10 hour limit, though in other parts of the downtown area, it's only a 2 hour limit. Filled with history and a beautiful view of the St Marie's Church as well as the old mills by the river, this gem of a park has many monuments, statues, and memorials detailing the French Canadian local people and history. Today, children were sliding and gathering snow to build a snow sculpture for their winter carnival.
