This is an amazing gluten free only bakery with all kinds of goodies including small pizzas, focaccia sandwiches, all of the pastries and cookies you might desire. They also sell some gluten free brands of pastas, breads, wraps etc to make your favorite meals at home. The lady who runs the place speaks very little English but all you have to do really is point to the yummy food and it will be in a bag for you. We purchased a few things for my celiac husband but only photographed some because he inhaled it so fast :) The prices are very very reasonable and affordable! €14 for a bad full of goodness!

This place is truly a gem. What are the chances of having a dedicated gluten free bakery in Florence. Not everything is vegan but they did have two gf vegan pastries and several gf dairy free focaccia and pizzas. All were delicious! The place itself is super cute and clean. I wish I would have bought more when I had the chance!

The staff was lovely. The options were varied. I didn't LOVE the food. It did make it easy, however, to find something gluten-free for my family to eat. We went to the location in roam and we went to a location in Reggio Emilia. Great staff. Food is ok. Not my favorite gluten free bakery.

I have never been able to eat a cannoli or croissant so I have no comparison, but this place allowed me to try delicious gluten free pasteries I could never have back home! Line was long and the selection of both sweet and savory options was great!

This is a dedicated gluten free cafe. There isn't much place to sit, but you can enjoy your pastry or a warmed up slice of pizza at the bar or in a small alcove. Otherwise I'd recommend take away. I stocked up on pastries and a couple rolls for my trip home tomorrow. My husband who isn't gluten free enjoyed their pizza with ham and went back for a focaccia with ham which he said was even better! They also have a variety of brands of gluten free items for sale including cookies, beans, and several pastas, dried and fresh. We would absolutely go back if we were here longer!

Gluten free everything! While sitting on the stoop I looked up to see gluten free! My daughter is gluten free and can't enjoy all the sweets in "normal" stores. Thank God we bumped into this place! Made our whole day. Thank you to the lady with blue hair.

Amazing gluten free only bakery! Best GF pastry options we've come across in Italy. Great place to sit and enjoy an espresso and a pastry or grab a hot panini to go. Lots of freshly made options behind the counter and off the shelf baked good items. They also have a beverage cooler to grab waters or sodas

He was awesome and had us laughing the entire night. We peppered him with a lot of questions about the menu, he answered everything and also accommodated my father-in-law, who is GF. He had his own GF bread basket and was able to order almost anything on the menu. We ordered a nice bottle of Montepulciano red for the table that was $48. Others had the Hugo spritz. For app I had the anchovies with roasted red pepper, sea salt and oil over grilled crostini, very good. I skipped first course and ordered the ribeye steak for my main course. Bone in, medium rare, sprinkled with sea salt and a side of onion marmalade. The steak was very good and had way less fat than I expected. The waiter suggested a huge steak for the table, but I was the only one ordering steak that night. Maybe next time. Others ordered the fillet and it was cooked perfectly, the angels and demons gnocchi, and the veal scallopini. Everybody was pleased Really cool spot with a very good wine selection, drinks, excellent food and a fun atmosphere that you don't find at many places. Nugo was an A+ server.

Waiter was super friendly, taking time to explain their wines in detail and food options. They even have a kids menu with sizeable portions for older kids. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it was definitely the best wine we had with meals in Florence. Gnocchi and wild boar taglietelle were outstanding. Had we had come earlier in our stay we might have come back again They also do a wine window which I wish I'd known about earlier because the other one we tried for fun was not good

I am mainly writing this review to encourage all my fellow celiacs/gluten intolerants to go here, get into the chest freezer right by the entrance, and grab the pain au chocolat (chocolate crossiant). They have amazing croissants and little pies and cookies stuffed with Nutella. They also have slices of pizza and appetizer-like food that they can heat up in a toaster oven, however I would stick to the baked goods because you can get really good gluten free pizza, calzones and pasta at multiple restaurants within a few blocks of this bakery. They also sell bread and whole cakes but we only sampled 4 of their baked goods. It's a relief to have so many options when visiting a new city. If you're looking to save money by stocking up your hotel or apartment with breakfast foods, this is a great place to go. It was surprising how inexpensive the items were compared to what we pay for the luxury of a gluten free muffin in the U.S. There were GF donuts listed on the website, but we didn't see any in the afternoon, so my advice would be to stop by early if you want the opportunity to choose from everything this lovely bakery makes.

This review is long overdue for our visit back in November of 2024. I was looking up Nduja recipe…read moreand reminded myself this was the place that initiated my love for Nduja sauce. American/Aussie owned bakery brunch spot by the river, such a cute little eatery. We loved our visit and though it's definitely more of a touristy spot, as most customers spoke English, the food was delicious to forgo the tourist trappy vibes. We shared a plate and added some items as we didn't want to get too stuffed on our first day of Florence. We had the Nduja Eggs plate with bacon and avocado added. Nduja is a spicy Calabrian pepper spreadable pork sauce, and oh boy was it so flavorful. If I remembered correctly, Melaleuca spread this sauce on top of a fried bread and eggs. I don't see it on the menu at the moment and it's probably a rotatable dish... but it definitely kicked started my hunt for the sauce. Since this is a spreadable pork, it's not something I could bring back to the US but I was able to find it online back home. The service was amazing and the beverages were delicious. Like many Italian places, the dining room is small and bathroom is a single small room that might require a small wait if they're busy. Didn't get to try their baked goods this last time, but definitely on our list to go back for more when we're back to Florence for a visit.
