There are parking garages nearby- I walked. There are metal detectors as you enter. Security watches you go through and bam -you're at the bar! I got a local beer ($12) and headed for the stairs. Apparently there is an elevator for those who cannot or do not want to take the stairs. People were filing in. I heard the bell to take your seat so I hustled all the way to the top. I had a seat in the very last row- row L. L for Last lol. Seat 24 so kinda in the middle. I would say I could see the stage without anyone blocking my view. It's steep up there. There were ushers on each level, assisting people to their seats. Those nosebleed seats did not have beer holders. Oh well. The sound was good- I heard everything. The seat was comfortable. After the show i used the restroom- plenty of stalls- no line, clean, easy signage to tell you where it is. Exiting was easy. So I'd say this is an easy in and out experience. I was comfortable. I could see and hear everything. No big TVs so you really need good vision. They don't take your phone away. Not a bad Friday night.

Over 2 hour wait once inside. They need let ppl know the approximate wait time when you get in line. MI Adventure. Disney. They all let you know your wait time. Perhaps we would have bought the fast pass had we known. There are other options for haunted attractions. This one is losing its appeal.

When it's 10:30 (over 3 hours!), we are at the last room before we go in, and then we here a voice over the intercom " ATTENTION, A FIRE HAS BEEN SPOTTED, PLEASE EVACUATE " when we are next up. We go outside, and they say they won't give refunds, there going to close when the building gets cleared. It's was the day before the last day there open, and i have to go to work at 11:00 am. The Valet Parking crew were also very quick polite and helpful. The wait staff all very very friendly and polite great bunch of people. The food is what made it a 2.5 -3 star for me. The beef was like shoe leather and beyond cutting with the knife they had on the table. The pasta had more vinegar than pasta and the potatoes were like glue. The bread dry enough to be used for stuffing but not eaten with meal. Certain with better preparation on the meal that would match the extra great service and personalities of the staff operating it most would have a 5 STAR experience.

She came in on a Sunday so my husband could see the venue after we booked. We walked into our rehearsal and Karri and her team were literally ON THE FLOOR attaching my welcome sign to a foam board so it looked better than what I had originally delivered to them. I had very specific requests for music and timing during our ceremony, they figured it out with ease and it was literally perfect. The staff was AWESOME. We had a medical emergency during our reception which they handled with ease and professionalism. They were so kind and accommodating to all of us. Finally, the space is to die for. We took pictures in the basement and they were the best pictures of all that my photographer got - gorgeous light in a beautiful setting. The set-up of the venue is perfect. I've been to so many weddings where you're either traveling to one setting to another, or there's a long wait between events, and it really drags the whole day down. Our guests went seamlessly from one spot to the next. I have no complaints, only excessive gratitude for the team at the Harris.

It is best suited for performances without orchestral accompaniment (there is no "pit") which is why GRB stages The Nutcracker elsewhere. The lobby is beautiful, but small, with limited options for intermission purchases. The parking lot is miniscule and finding spots on the surrounding streets can be difficult because of the theatre's proximity to Founders and transportation terminals. Although the building is on the small side, it's easy to get around the space and we had no trouble navigating the building to find our seats. I especially like the floor to ceiling windows in the foyer that made the building seem much larger. The production of Swan Lake was impeccable and even with sold out seating, I was never craning around to see the dancers as the stadium seating provided a great view for everyone. They offer limited parking near the building but have parking scattered throughout the nearby parking lots, all of which are an easy walk to the front door. Well, it's an easy walk if it isn't the dead of winter, during a record-breaking cold front like I experienced. Then every step feels like a mile. But that's not the ballet company's fault. I'm only disappointed that the theater isn't located closer to the heart of downtown. Instead, it's located near the bus station, kiddy corner to Founders Brewery. With a ballet company this talented, they deserve center stage in the city!

We went into the lobby just to warm up and missed parts of the movie. Very disappointing. The facility seems to be going downhill.

Ticketing was a little confusing, the website indicated we needed to pay for parking ahead of time otherwise it would be an additional $5 the day of the game, so $15. I bought a parking pass online for $10 but then when we got to campus, no one checked or asked for this pass and there were "free" lots near the stadium - so I think I wasted $10. Not a great first impression, haha. We had to park a good distance away but followed the crowds toward the stadium, which is pretty small compared to the Big 10 stadiums I've been in, but bigger than a high school football stadium. They were lighting off fireworks after every time GVSU scored, which was a lot. (The final score was 56-3!) The energy from the bands and students was high and the weather was great. Concession prices were very reasonable and we got some chips and cheese and fountain beverages. Note that only small clutches/purses are allowed, or larger clear bags. They checked my purse but didn't have any metal detectors for people entering the stadium. The bleacher seating is pretty hard for sitting the entire time, but I saw people brought in padded seat cushions and we had a blanket.
