This venue is part of The Intersection and is located "downstairs" with the entrance by the box office window on Cherry Street. We went to a show here recently and it was a pretty good experience. It was quick to get in through ID/ticket check and security. They do have a clear bag/small clutch policy but I was able to bring in my small belt bag.
The show we went to was sold out, and the space got super packed. It was sort of uncomfortably hot in there, which wasn't the most pleasant. The space is larger than the Pyramid Scheme but smaller than 20 Monroe. I think for a non-sold out show, it would be perfect.
I didn't love the layout of the venue with ramps everywhere and people crowding around them. They do have some tall tables and stools available around, which were nice, but you need to get there early to grab those.
The bars are located in such a way that it made it hard to queue/know who is waiting in line. Drink prices are lower than some other nearby venues, which was appreciated. I do wish they had a water dispenser rather than requiring people to buy bottled water.
There is no designated parking for this venue, but plenty of street parking nearby and some paid lots. I would go to another show here, but it's not my favorite local venue. read more
