What a joy it is to write a review for Brenda and the entire process from prenatal to postpartum…read morecare that she has provided for our family. We are first time parents, and from our very first visit with Brenda we knew this was going to be a special journey based on the professional and compassionate interaction. My husband's questions about home births were put at ease during our first consultation with Brenda, and now we quite frequently discuss and share with our friends and family just how in awe we are of her wisdom, patience, and expertise in her craft of midwifery. It is apparent that this is her true calling in life, and as her clients we are richly blessed with the experience of working with her. Our birth story was a bit unconventional, and Brenda and her assistant skillfully navigated what was necessary to help our daughter get into the optimal position and ultimately be born without complication or unnecessary stress. After birth, my husband was able to bond with our daughter while Brenda skillfully and compassionately addressed the suturing I needed -- at three in the morning, no less. It was so nice to be able to stay in our own home immediately after giving birth, and on top of that we were also able to have all the newborn care completed at home when Brenda returned the day after birth. We are so thankful for the care, friendship, education, and spiritual encouragement that Brenda has provided and continues to provide for us. We will dearly miss the appointments and conversations, but we hope to have her assist us in the future if we have more children, God willing. We whole-heartedly recommend More Than Birth for anyone opting to have a home birth. Thank you, Brenda and Belinda for your care.

I have had 2 sessions with Craig Stassio and I'm not exaggerating when I say it has already changed…read moremy life. I have had chronic low back pain for the last 18 years and have seen multiple doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, fascia body workers, mental health professionals of different styles, acupuncture, the list goes on. I've tried yoga, pilates, running, swimming, stretching, different strength training and none of it helped at all, in fact, most of them made my pain far worse. After hearing "nothing is wrong with you" by so many professionals I accepted that the pain may never get better. I discovered PRI and the more I learned the more I found similarities in my symptoms. Simio is a 2.5 hour drive from me but I am so incredibly grateful to have them and the drive is nothing compared to the results and pain relief they have provided me. I no longer have to use any pain medication, I can stand all day at work with little to no pain (where before I would be in near unbearable pain the entire time), I am virtually pain free at home. The best part is that with the reduction in pain, my mood has improved and my energy and space for others has vastly improved. I am so thankful, and I'm only on my second visit. I am so hopeful for the next steps and will update after I complete my therapy with Simio.

I can't say enough good things about this practice and if you are searching for some pelvic floor PT or have questions about it; this place is a gem and made a difference in my life. Alaina was an amazing coach and positive energy through it all, especially when labor wasn't going exactly how I had imagined it to happen. Her relaxation methods and positive affirmations helped me through every single contraction, and her and my husband's reassurance prepared me for the next contraction with confidence. It's difficult to put into words what Dr. Kleiman does for her clients…read more A few summers ago, I severely injured my shoulder, tearing the cartilage and two of the rotator cuff muscles. I was told that although I could have surgery, the success rate would not be high and it could lead to chronic pain. Physical therapy was recommended, and after months of painful work and steroid injections, I was actually worse. I had more pain and less mobility. I had to sleep in my jeans so I could partially immobilize my arm by putting my hand in my pocket. I started to become discouraged and depressed. Then my wife recommended I go see "this great physical therapist" who had reportedly helped a friend's daughter recover from a knee injury without surgery despite being told by her orthopedic surgeon she would definitely require surgery. She went on to note that Dr. Kleiman was a bit more expensive and did not take several forms of insurance. As a physician, I was highly skeptical and may have rolled my eyes a bit. But those who deal with chronic pain know you will try anything, so I did. After my first visit with Shirley Kleiman, I became more optimistic. She took a lot of time to explain what was going on with my injury and why the previous physical therapy did not work. I actually felt some relief after the first session of her "biomechanical rehabilitation." I complied with the prescribed exercises and therapy sessions (which were rigorous) and after a couple of months, I had regained 100 % of my strength, 90% of my mobility and was totally pain free - without any drugs or joint injections. Most importantly, I got my life back and had my peace of mind restored. Dr. Kleiman has a patient and advocate for life in me. If you have had an injury, have chronic musculoskeletal pain, or have failed conventional physical therapy, I would recommend you get an evaluation at Spine & Sport.
