This studio has an incredible selection of glass items, such as vases, bowls, lampshades and…read moreornaments, which vary in price. They also offer classes in glass blowing, beginning with glass paperweights. The classes are great fun, because the staff is kind and encouraging, and there is a genuine element of learning how to do things, rather than having them done for you. It is also possible to see other groups doing it, and there's at least one day a year when they take walk-ins! Groups need to be 3-4 people, and it takes one or two days for the glass to cool, so if you're only in the area for a few days, factor this in.

Ann's School of Dance is a great place to dance for a kid who's in it for the fun of it. The teachers are caring, patient, talented dancers who put on a great show every year. Most levels and styles of dance are available. Drawbacks: There is no 'front desk' so to ask a question you need to call or butt in between classes to ask a teacher a question. The bathrooms are through the studios, so you disrupt classes if you have to use them. If you're interested in intense competition or extremely advanced levels of dance, this place is not for you.
