I've even went to the emergency SOS class which is free and offered once a month to fix up any flaws from your past painting, and the one on one time was super helpful. All the staff has always been super helpful and friendly every time I've been there. I definitely recommend this activity for a fun lighthearted afternoon or even a fun night out with friends! I've done both and am looking forward to returning for a new painting again!

We went to the paint your pet session that I believe they do once a month. We submitted pictures of our pet to them after booking (about 3-4 weeks in advance) and they provided us with a general outlined sketch that we could follow for our painting. Thank god they did this because I do not consider myself creative and this made the whole thing easier and less stressful. Typically these classes provide a step by step instruction led by a teacher/instructor but since these were all individualized pet paintings, they could not really do that. The teacher was great anyways and super friendly. She offered tips on colors and how to get certain textures or features. They were always available for questions and were walking around the room most of the time to help out. I was really happy with how my painting turned out. I felt like it really looked like my pup!! They are in a great location off of Ionia with many parking garages surrounding or you may get lucky and find some street parking. The building is huge and they had tons of classes and items to paint separately. There were quite a few people signed up for the class and they had a few teachers helping out. We were given an overview and an example of what we needed to do and we were off. The class included one of our creations to be glazed and colored. It was such a fun class and the 2.5 hours went very quick! Awesome thing to do and super fun!

When we entered, there was no signage and no employees directing guests. Like others who walked in, we selected our pottery and sat at an open table. The table was completely clear -- no signage, no tiles, nothing indicating it was reserved. At no point were we informed that the table was reserved or that there was a waitlist. After choosing our colors, we asked an employee to quickly review the instructions. During that interaction, another employee approached and stated the table was reserved. I asked if we needed to move and was told, "No, it's fine, we'll figure it out," and the instructions continued. A few minutes later, after staff were visibly discussing the situation and staring at us, we were told we would need to move because the table was reserved and there was a waitlist. An alternative was offered, but it was not accessible for us, so we declined and left. We were later told that walk-ins are required to check in at the "front desk," which is actually located at the back of the store. This is not stated on the website, and there is no signage in the store explaining this process. We were also told reserved tables are typically marked with tiles -- however, the table we sat at was completely empty and unmarked. By their own stated policy, the process was not followed in this situation. The handling of the situation was disappointing, poorly communicated, and made for an unnecessarily uncomfortable experience
