You are VERY lucky to have an employee like her. Karen made working with your company so easy and pleasant for me that it almost seemed as if she were an employee of mine. Then there is James. James is the name of the person who delivered the rental equipment to me. James was equally as pleasant, professional, and able to work with as was Karen. James was so delightful that I can hardly put my experience with him into words. Here's the bottom line. I don't know what your company is doing to have the kind of employees that worked with me during my rental, but, whatever it is, I sure wish you could pass your ability to find such employees on to every other employer in the state of Washington! Rarely does a family business like Lew Rents continue to exist and thrive in today's age. The reason for their success, I believe, boils down to their customer service. Lew Rents originated as Olympia Hardware Co, downtown Olympia, before any of you who are reading this we're born. Haha, seriously though, Lew Rents is open every day (although I wish they were open until 6) and the employees go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Whether you are looking to rent something large or something small, they will most likely have what you need. If they don't, they will go out of their way to help you find it; never hesitating to call their 'competition' in order to source an item for a customer. That's impressive. When unsuccessful, they took the time to ask about what type of painting job I had, and offered suggestions. Ended up renting scaffolding that i never would have thought of. It worked perfectly. I rented the utility trailer for a week, price used to be $40/day or $80/week... Sweet deal, I know... Well, now its $160/week. 8 weeks and I've bought myself a new trailer. Then there are the little issues. The right taillight was shorting out, which they got working... But then on the road it stopped working again. And lastly, it came with no resting stand, their old ones had a stand. I had to use a portable tire jack to unhook it so that I can go to work. It now is sitting loaded with stuff on a wobbly jack. Lesson is just buy the trailer... I now know.

This boom wouldn't go over 45 feet because of it's safety system. My electrician called several times to get some help and was put on hold for so long , he hung up. I called the following day and talked to a gentleman said yes you should not have been sent that piece of equipment and we will help you out. The guy that picked up the equipment told me me the same thing. YET when I got my c/c bill, I was never given any type of credit. WHAT A BUNCH OF THIEVES. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

I needed a forklift to get this nonsense straightened out. After making too many phone calls, I came across Jennings Equipment in Puyallup, and spoke directly to Andrew. Once he understood what my situation was. Advised me to bring it there if possible, and they would assist me with straightening out the situation. I managed to get the trailer and its wonky load to their store, and he personally took the time to help me (with a forklift), and organize it in a way that was legal and safe. Andrew's customer service was second to none. As my teenagers would say, props and a shout out, he absolutely nailed it when it came to helping resolve this issue.
