I had confirmed appointments for me and my daughter on Saturday, but when we arrived, the receptionist said we didn't have appointments. I showed her the email and she said the appointments weren't there and the next available appointments weren't for a few weeks. I left, thinking it was possible that I had made a mistake and it was clear the receptionist didn't care and wouldn't or couldn't help. Today I got an email from the eye center telling me I had missed my appointment. I try not to write bad reviews online but the only contact options are to call or write a review. There's no point calling and speaking to the receptionist from Saturday. Maybe someone at the Eye Center will read this and realize their computer system isn't working.

I have been going to Dr. Clifford for years and trust her with my eye care. As an aging patient, your eyes can continue to change. Dr. Clifford has and continues to work with me to make sure my contacts provide the best near and far vision ( I wear bifocal contacts and if you do, you know that this is a matter of balancing the two of them.) To those that complain about having to buy your contacts there, they don't force you to do it, but provide it as a service ( and usually at a better price than most opticians .) I use the prescription provided by the doctor and go to my local warehouse club.) Kudos to Dr. Clifford and her staff!

This place has a fishy operational system or at the mere minimum they are extremely disorganized. I…read moregot my glasses less than a year ago and they charged me for some addons which I gladly paid. At first the glasses didn't feel right but after I called, they suggested to wait a month and see how I felt. I kept using my old glasses and try the new ones from time to time until I eventually got used to. I found that the glass was too thick comparing to the ones I usually got from my previous eye doctor in the City. My glasses got broken and came today to get them replaced under the guarantee. They flat out said that those glasses were not from them and that the frame nor the prescription matches what was on file. I was in shock; I was given glasses that did not match the prescription on my file yet they charged me for those services. At the end they put Dr. Dominguez on the phone who with a very condescending tone kept saying that those were not glasses from her practice and from time to time she made sounds insinuating that I was lying. Yet, didn't apologize nor occurred to her that perhaps the negligence and disorganization of her office got me the wrong or what they call "over the counter" glasses and charged the insurance for the real ones. Take pictures of the glasses they give you so you have proof to refute their claims. Not a place to trust

They are so professional, organized, clear, and take great care of the patients. Dr. Yang has been wonderful - careful & cautious, always willing to explain things and patiently answers all my questions. She performed my daughter's surgery earlier this year with a great result, and I felt totally calm about the whole thing bc I really trusted her. Their office was also great as we prepped for and followed up from surgery, all the admin stuff was super easy thanks to their team. We've also met with Dr. Mickey in the past and he's wonderful as well. Highly recommend this office if your children need care.

Finding a ped ophthalmologist is not the easiest specialty to find. I was referred by a physician who took their child. For the times that I have visited with my two children, Dr Mickey and his staff were so kind and gentle. Two and four year olds are not easy to sit for a visit, but they made every effort to complete the exam. With COVID, they followed CDC guidelines and were very careful. There was no worry on our part being seen in this doctor's office. Thank you!

She is extremely knowledgeable and has a very well trained staff who do take their time with each patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Levine's for more than 25 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Her conscientious follow up as to my concerns about both my challenges with extremely dry eyes (from a lot of computer work), my potential for familial glaucoma and cataracts has lately been her main focus. And for that I am most appreciative. I find her office to be a pleasant and enjoyable place I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes even when they were most busy pre-Covid. In fact, today when I went, I was very impressed as to both their strict adherence to the cleanliness guidelines and the numbers of people allowed in the office for which I appreciated, as well. She even took excellent care of my 97 year old Dad a few years ago who had major eye issues. Simeon Berman, MD

I chose the Teaneck NJ office and was lucky enough to be assigned to Dr. Lee Angioletti . First off the Center is very professional and courteous. From sending me the New Patient forms ahead of my visit to fill out, to the staff at the check in desk. From the 3-4 technicians that saw me, tested me, took scans of my eyes to the final visit with the doctor, just top notch. And as for Dr Angioletti, I could tell from the minute I meant him he was special. From his smart appearance to the calm demeanor in the way he explains everything in layman's terms. He is a special, down to earth, soothing specialist. I have to admit I was getting a bit nervous what with all the tests they were giving me. But his diagnosis based on all of this data was heartily welcomed. I recommend the Retina Center and HIGHLY recommend you try & see him. I'm the type that goes to his docs regularly and once I find one I really like, stay with them. ( dentist: 27 years; Internist:30 years; ophthalmologist: 25 years.)
