I am extremely glad I found Marat on Yelp. I bought an older knowing that it needed an upgraded…read moreelectrical panel (the one from the seller was recalled). I called Marat, told him I wanted a 200 electrical panel, and he was able to quote me with an excellent price by seeing a picture via text of the existing electrical panel. Given that it was my first time buying a home and not knowing anything about permits and the procedure, Marat walked me through it. He advised that I needed to call LADWP to schedule an appointment with a tech who would mark the spot of the new meter. He then said once there is a meter spot, Marat will get to work --and he did immediately after I got the meter spot. In fact, Marat was there the next day! He worked on the panel for a couple of days, along with his son, and once he installed it, he took care of scheduling the appointment with LADBS. Since I saw how excellent Marat was as an electrician, I also had him install recess lighting in the living room, hallway, family room, and kitchen (amazing job) . I had him install 5 hardwired POE cameras throughout my house. And I also had him check all my GFCI outlets throughout the house and had him replace the ones not working. Marat is not only the ultimate professional who excels at his craft, but he is also very nice and easy going. I highly recommend him for any electrical job.

We were first introduced to Ismael (the owner) and his team for our new solar panel installation and the experience was night and day compared to any other electrical contractor we've used! Their work was flawless, but what truly set them apart was their professionalism--they were prompt, communicative throughout the entire process, and clearly take immense pride in their craftsmanship. In fact, we were so impressed that we immediately hired them again to install the electrical for our smart toilet right after our solar panel was done. Once again, their service was first-rate, Ismael answered all of our questions, any concerns we had, meticously labeled both of our breaker boxes for our home and pool and spa breaker box and the quality of work was the best we've ever seen! Nexus Electric is now our go-to for everything. We are currently having Ismael replace our main electrical panel and install all the wiring for our pool and spa to ensure everything is updated and most importantly, safe! If you want a team that is professional, reliable, and does the highest quality work, call Nexus Electric. Ismael and his crew are simply the best in the business!

5 STARS ALL THE WAY!…read more After having issues with my breakers & electrical main panel from the new installation of my AC, II contacted a different electrician referral whom had never followed up on my text, after we initially spoke. The referral was located much further away, in fairness. My expectations became questionable.. Afterwards, I called Nexus Electric to try to get an estimate. Based upon the reviews & pictures, I figured it was worth a shot.. Yet, Ismael from Nexus Electric called me back within 20-30 minutes ready to listen, address my issues, and help with getting it resolved! I texted him photos of my jam packed electric panel & breakers. I explained I recently had the new AC installed. From the pics I texted, he helpfully mentioned it could be the straps for the breakers & was sending his techs out within the next few hours.. Ismael was friendly, professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable. His constant communication is on point. Most importantly, Nexus Electric is licensed & bonded to put your mind at ease.. The techs (Fernando & Jose) came and tested the main panel resistors & breakers. Adjusted the jam packed breakers & put everything back in order, after confirming all the electricity was working again. My AC contractor has already referred him new business bc he knows a reliable professional electrician is hard to find! Well earned Ismael; keep up the stellar service from the Nexus team..

George the Electrician showed up a bit early from the scheduled appointment, which was wonderful…read morecompared to other service people who may arrive late. He fixed my broken GFI outlet and used the correct 12G gauge wire upgrading my previous 15 amps to the 20 amps that was already available. He showed me the previously used smaller 14 gauge wire, which was also improperly connected and may have caused the faulty outlet issue. George then checked the power to my doorbell wire, which was dead and most likely disconnected. We discussed options and decided to install a 24V 40VA thermostat and doorbell transformer, which I had already purchased online. He installed it next to the existing junction box located in the garage. He easily and expertly installed the wiring. He then proceeded to install my new doorbell camera after reviewing the manual and video instructions. He also installed a metal cover plate, which he had to drill new holes into so that the doorbell could be properly affixed. The previous owner had left a big gaping hole, whereby the new slim doorbell camera could not coverup and avoid having to paint over exposed old stucco color. I highly recommend George the Electrician, who is licensed and insured. He has over 50 years of experience and is always prompt in returning calls or texts. His rates are reasonable and he tries to find the best solution to a tricky job.
