We've used Corey a couple of times this year, and he's been terrific. For his latest job, we had him install a new outlet for us inside a kitchen cabinet to accommodate a new cooktop. He was fast, neat, and his price was very reasonable. Oh, and I'll add that he wore a mask in our house without being asked. Much appreciated! We'll definitely be calling him again. read more

We called kennedy electric to move our dryer outlet over to the other side of our laundry room. He came out the next day and did that but also found some unconnected LIVE wires in our attic and fixed them immediately for free. COREY was very good at telling us what we were paying for and how the wires became a hazard to start with. We passed his name onto our neighbour and he reworked their kitchen and they also were happy with his work. I highly recommend. read more

We just moved into our house, a fuse blew last night and we couldn't locate the electrical box. Called Kennedy Electric, Corey came right away and saved the day! We now have our own electrician to call whenever we need something done. Thank you Corey! 11/17/17 Asked Corey for an estimate to add more circuits into our old house. Came the next day. Excellent, fast and honest. If I could give him 10 Stars I would. I wish more poo people were like him. Oh by the way, he does excellent work. Came out right away. Two other electricians wanted from $500 to $1200. All I paid was $100.00 and he fixed everything. He is the most honest person I have ever met. read more

7 pm Friday night over the Thanksgiving weekend I sent a text to this company requesting some help with an electrical issue. He responded saying out of town until Tuesday am but he continued to text back and forth with me. He suggested some things that I may try myself to get it fixed. I appreciate the time he spent trying to solve my problem over the phone. read more

Corey was quick and efficient! The job at my house was to get a new outlet behind my dishwasher. Corey was professional from the beginning and flexible on the timing when to get the job done. He was courteous and professional. read more

Corey was great. I called in the early morning and he came by early afternoon the same day. I needed an outlet changed to accommodate a new washer/dryer and he did the work in less than a half hour. He also took a look at some other work I needed done and gave me an estimate on that. His fees are fair and he's efficient and thorough - I'd highly recommend and will use him again. read more

What an awesome experience. Corey is a consummate professional. Super honest and a great communicator. He put me in the driver's seat, advising when choices needed to be made and constantly keeping me abreast of costs. I had him install a light and a couple of outlets, replace several switches and troubleshoot some weird issues going on in my house. He's a great problem solver as well as super thoughtful and neat. Great choice. read more

I thought Corey was really nice & polite. He wired in a computer plug for our office. I liked that he came the same day we called and did it in 2 hours. He only charged 3/4 what the other electrician quoted us. I was so surprised. I would definitely recommend him. read more

We called this company and had a much better experience. We had just bought a new house and all of the plugs and switches were not working. He fix everything and finished when he said he would. We had another guy before him and he (I wont mention his name) kept changing his price and wasn't being up front. So a friend told me to try calling another company and this one was much more straight forward and ended up being less. I thought he did a good job, zero complaints from me. We are fixing up our house and it's tough to find good workers. read more

Corey is awesome!!! I wish that's all I could say and it would help but the work he did was fantastic. Re-wired our house, was clean and worked clean. I've had people come do work and leave a mess a behind not Corey. Very Professional, timely and honest on the bid and the work. read more

We found Corey on yelp and given all the great reviews, we called for an estimate for an outdoor lighting project. He came out the same day, gave a thoughtful estimate right then and explained everything. We liked that he did all the work himself and did not delegate it to a lesser skilled crew, which has happened with most electricians we've used. His bid was very reasonable and less than the other bid we received for the same project. He was very thorough and knowledgeable of all code requirements, and worked very hard to promptly complete what turned out to be a complicated project. We will definitely use Corey again for future electrical needs!! read more

Corey came in and changed out all our old style 2 prong plugs out for the new kind. It took him less than a day to do it which meant that we had our power back by dinner time. I called two other companies and One said it would be a 3 day job. The other company said 2 days but their price was also a lot higher than what we had in our budget. This guy did the work at a fair bit less than we expected to pay. read more

We had a power outage in the kitchen and couldn't troubleshoot it ourselves by resetting circuit breaker. I called our home warranty first and couldn't get an appt till 2 days later and had to be available during 4 hour window. I found Corey through Yelp with great reviews. He was able to come out the next day during a time that was convenient for me. He even offered to come out the same night after his last appt but it was too late for us. He was courteous and professional and fixed our problem. I would use him again and refer him to our friends and family. Customer service was great AND we ended paying less than what the home warranty service fee would have been! read more

Corey did a great job for my kitchen. Thank you!

I started a do-it-yourself project that got complicated. So I called Kennedy Electric. To my surprise, after I told Corey what the problem was, he actually tried to talk me through it. Who does that these days? When it was apparent I still didn't know what I was doing, we set up an appointment. Corey was punctual, efficient, and honest. Also, FRIENDLY, FAST, and FAIR. Can't say enough nice things. read more

After reading the previous reviews and always preferring to hire local independent business establishments I contacted Kennedy Electric. I needed a ceiling fan installed and 4 upgraded energy efficient outdoor security lights to be installed. Unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as the previous reviews. First Corey told me he would not be able to do most of the job unless I could get someone to place the ladder I provided in position for him to do the work. (He does not carry his own ladders and had some sort of rotor cup shoulder injury). First, he installed the ceiling fan but was not immediately able to get it to work, but was then able to figure out that some wires were loose and got it going. Second, he installed one of the four replacement security lights, the one he could easily reach, but was not able to get it to turn on and asked me to try the breakers when I got a chance. He left the breaker box open and loose. The second electrician, (different company), who came the next day to install the remaining three lights simply flipped the outdoor wall switch and wonder of wonders, the light came on. Maybe it was just a bad day for Corey or he was just off his game but I prefer to hire professional people who come ready and able to tackle the job. On a positive note, his prices are very competitive and reasonable. read more

Called Corey last Sunday since I had lost power to more than half of my house. The call initially went to his voice message as it was a Sunday; however, he called me back within 10 minutes. He indicated that he would be able to come out within an hour or so which he showed up about one and half hours later. He diagnosed the issue to be the power companies issues within a few minutes and informed me on what to indicate to the power company so that they were aware that I had already contacted an electrician. I would definitely look to re-use Corey again for future needs. read more
