I also added a comprehensive exam (which they offered at a discounted rate) for them to look at my car as a whole and to let me know what things might need repair now and in the near future. They were able to see my car within a week of me reaching out for an appt, and they only kept my car for ~5 hours. They tried everything they could to find the source of my leak, but when they couldn't, they referred me to Liberty Water Leak, who was fantastic and found the sources of my leak and water damage within a few hours. With the comprehensive exam, they listed each item that needed repair and were not pushy AT ALL. They also answered all of my questions, yes... even the dumb ones. There was an oversight where my wiper cowlings were not installed correctly, so I did leave an honest review on SureCritic saying that I wasn't sure if I'd trust them with further repairs due to that mistake. Within a week of posting that review, the shop called me to apologize and discuss what happened. On top of that, they refunded me my entire bill. I understand now why Tom Dwyer Auto has such good reviews-- They genuinely care about their customers and producing quality work. I am grateful to have been treated with respect, not taken advantage of as a female, and for their determination to correct the mistakes made. Thank you again!

They charged me over $300 to replace these wires. They charge a number or random fees to up the money you give them. The wire set they used to fix my car was $60 at o reillys, they charged me $130. It is RIDICULOUS how much this establishment tries to squeeze money out of every possible customer. A normal wire replacement shouldn't cost $300! It's absurd! I'm extremely disappointed and will not be taking my car back here, unless I want to donate my hard earned money. DO NOT GO HERE.

As I'm paying, they tell me the $160 won't be applied to my end total and that the guy that told me that was wrong. I HATE when I have car issues because I dont really know how to fix it, other than to take it to the repair shop and then...... who knows, you know? So I googled it (of course!) and found out that because my car had just turned over to 100K miles, the Code 52 was an 'urgent' code stating that the timing belt (and water pump etc) needed to be replaced. Oh crud!! So I called around and got ball park estimates. The gamut ran from $1800 down to $800/$900. Well of course I wanted to go with the lowest possible but then someone suggested I give Jim Estes Garage a call. I am SO glad I did!! I spoke to the nicest man, Ron. He is (I think) the manager in charge of the garage. I explained to him what was going on and He gave me a quote which was a couple hundred dollars above the lowest, so I told him what they had quoted and Ron went back and reworked his figures and quoted me just a wee bit above the lowest garage!! I was impressed! I dropped my car off, and asked how much it would cost to have my transmission fluid checked and topped up if needed and he told me they would be checking all my fluid levels 'no charge' - What???!!! WOW!! I also told him not to worry about the TMP light (it had been flashing on for about a month- meaning, it seems, that either a TMP device had died or been lost) - that I would take care of it with my tire guy when I switched to my snow tires in a month. My car was done that afternoon, but I opted to wait until this morning to pick it up because my Daughter was able to give me a ride to the shop. I got there and the price was exactly as I expected so I was verrrrry happy! (you know what I mean, how many times do you get there and they tell you either that the price is a ton more OR they start trying to upsell you on something else that is 'wrong' with your car??) When I got in the car I noticed that not only was it running really well, but the TMP light was off!! Which meant they fixed it for me no charge!!!! I am SO impressed with Jim Estes Garage!! Not only are they fantastic Car Fixers, but they are just SO nice!! I will be taking my car to them for repairs from now on!!

The problem they were going to have to deal with is that we had a wonderful pitbull who we used to take everywhere with us, before we lost her at the beginning of the year. Her tiny hairs were EVERYWHERE in the carpet, and VERY hard to get out - trust me, I tried! They charged slightly more due to the amount of dog hair, which was completely fair, so I said go for it. They said it would look as good as new, but of course I thought that was a lofty goal... Oh my gosh, we were SHOCKED at how amazing it looks! The carpet looks as good as when it was new (maybe better)! I would never have believed this was possible, but we could not be more pleased! They worked on it for over 8 hours!
