So I thought to myself, "Why not try them out"? instead of going through the Costco buying service that I'd been contemplating using. I spoke with Grant Ruthenberg and told him the model I was interested in. He explained the he receives a fee from the dealership but he'd be working to get me the best price. He got back to me the very next day with what I was looking for. Ever the skeptic, I ran his proposal and the invoice through ChatGPT and asked if I'd gotten a reasonable deal. ChatGPT answered, "FINAL VERDICT: This is a fair, clean, and pretty good deal. You could spend weeks calling dealers and possibly not do better. You're not being overcharged. The numbers match reality. And the transparency is excellent." So who was I to argue? I told Grant to go ahead with the purchase and he told me the car could be delivered the next day. I was informed about the ETA of delivery and given a more precise ETA as they had more info (the car was coming from Riverside and I'm in Bonita). Grant had me sign the paperwork and explained what I was signing when questions arose. I gave him the check and then we went out, sat in the SUV and he explained all the new features. He set up the Apple CarPlay and paired my garage door opener so that I no longer had to use the remote. When I no longer had questions about the Palisade he graciously moved my very heavy dog crates to the new car! Above and beyond! This is the best car buying experience I've had in my 71 years and I will be recommending Branco Motors to anyone in the market for a new car.

Broke down on the side of the road, and the tow truck driver "strongly recommended" I bring my car here, saying this was the best shop around. Now, I'm convinced they're working together to scam people. I left my car, and from there, it was a total nightmare. For weeks, I barely got any updates. I called, left message after message, but almost never got a call back. When I finally reached someone, it was always a new excuse--"waiting on parts" or "the mechanic is looking at it now." Meanwhile, my car was just sitting, totally ignored. Then, it gets worse: after 3 weeks, the mechanic calls and tells me the problem is water damage. I told him my car has NEVER been exposed to water, and he was quiet for a second. So I went down to see what was going on. When I got there, my car was sitting outside with the windows rolled down, and the inside was completely soaked and to add insult - there were dirty cat or dog footprints inside of my car - ON MY WHITE LEATHER!!! He left my windows down or doors open during a storm, and now my car had water damage--damage he caused! But here's the final straw: after telling me about this "water damage," he actually suggested I call my insurance and claim it as a total loss. Are you kidding me?! He damages my car and then tries to push me into committing insurance fraud to cover his own incompetence. I immediately took my car to another shop. They had it fixed in 48 hours--it was just a bad ground wire, no water damage necessary. This place is a scam. They're incompetent, negligent, and downright shady. TRUST YOUR GUT - If you care about your car (and your sanity), avoid this place at all costs!

I still needed to replace the second lease vehicle and I wanted to replace it with another ACURA. I began my search to replace the second lease vehicle. I contacted several dealerships in the LA area over the next 2 months to find another well taken care of vehicle at a fair price. You would think finding any vehicle in a densely populated metropolis such as Los Angeles would be fairly easy, with a plethora of options to choose from. Not so much the case or at least not so much my luck until I expanded my search outside of LA and came across New to You Auto Sales in El Cajon CA. New to You Auto Sales not only had the vehicle (i.e. make, model, options, color, mileage, etc.) but it was also in outstanding condition and they offered it at a very fair price! I checked it out from top to bottom and it was in as good as a new vehicle condition. We made the purchase and drove back home to LA county. Once we got the vehicle back home, I had a certified mechanic give it a thorough inspection and everything came back 100% positive with no issues. The mechanic was equally impressed. I have also looked at 2 other car sales lots on the same street one of them being Karz Plus. I walk in and instead of being greeted or asked what they can do for me, I have to ask looking at them both "who wants to help me" and I kid you not, BOTH salesman pointed at each other. Mind you they were sitting at adjacent desks and separated by a partition. So I point my attention to one since neither seemed interested in really helping. So I ask how much is the black F150. The salesman says "its already sold someone is already coming" then as I'm about to leave he then says "its actually not sold and for the right price though" then I ask "how much is it". Still yet he doesn't mention any pricing and says "I have to call the owner to see what we can do and how serious are you about buying" then I ask again "well how much is it" eventually he finally answers. After all that, 1) no salesman takes initiative 2) lied about it being already sold 3)couldn't answer a simple question after being asked 3 times. 4)couldn't actually be a salesman and was going to have to call the owner even though we hadn't even started making a deal yet. Karz plus greeted me, let me inside the truck and do a walk around. They made me an agreeable offer and financing and said they would be willing to work with me and my credit union if i do finance through them and gave me a printout of the carfax and the saleswoman even gave me her personal cell if I had any immediate questions. I have lived in this town my whole life so I have seen how these dealerships have changed over the years. The vast difference between both places is astounding and it really shows why one is expanding and the other isn't. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HERE AGAIN.

The initial sales representative was knowledgeable and patient, answering questions clearly and giving us space to evaluate the vehicle. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to meet the price point we were targeting, and we were prepared to walk away from the deal. At that point, the sales manager, Osama, stepped in and made a meaningful difference. He worked with us to bring the price into a range that made sense, and, importantly, he ensured a few outstanding items were addressed before delivery. The vehicle was properly aligned, and a trunk latch bar was repaired prior to pickup the following day. That attention to detail and follow-through was appreciated and helped make the transaction feel fair and complete. Overall, the buying process was easy and mostly professional, in line with what you'd expect from a smaller, independent dealership. That said, the reason this isn't a five-star review comes down to a single but important moment. After declining the first offer and stepping into the manager's office, we overheard the initial salesperson, along with another salesperson on the floor, speaking negatively about my friend and me regarding the failed negotiation. They were unaware we could still hear the conversation. While unfortunate, it was also unnecessary and unprofessional. Aside from that incident, the experience was acceptable. The inventory is limited (roughly 30 vehicles on the lot), so selection may not suit everyone, but pricing flexibility and management involvement were definite positives. In summary: a generally solid dealership experience with good managerial support, slightly undermined by an avoidable lapse in professionalism on the sales floor.
