Terrible customer service. Unfortunately it's the only place for the office supplies for my small business. Whether I order online or shop in store, the services has been terrible on many occasions. The print staff was rude when the printing I needed involved them having to help. Online orders can take days to fill. I live in a community outside of Whitehorse, when I requested they hold my order for two more days until I am able to get to town to pick it up, I was snapped at and hung up on. I use the services of Staples for printing, scanning and copying. By far the best employee in that department is a young woman by the name of: Bhavita. She is friendly, helps her co-workers, figures things out that others can't and knows her job inside and out. She needs to be recognized for her exemplary service to Staples customers. If she wasn't working in that area there would be bad service and unhappy customers. She figured out how to help me and directed her co-workers to do something else. In many ways, office supply stores are a bit of a throwback to a once more popular analog age. At the same time, I still make appointments and plans with a hard-copy planner. At this Staples I found a gorgeous, long, and heavy 2024 Brownline Daily Planner, at a price that looked even better after converting it to USD. Of course I wandered around a bit before coming to the front as I still never know what office supplies I want, but really don't need. Store staff were hands off, but there when I needed to check out. This was an "OK" experience, but I'll bump it up a notch to mirror the previous "interesting" 1 Star reviews. read more

Worst service I have ever encountered. Waited in line forever at the printing station only for them to serve this guy who butted in ahead of me. Maybe its because it is the same nationality so he gets better service. Acted like I was weird for not having a credit card although I had a staples card, walked away and never came back to help. I could not figure out how to get it to print so I left with nothing and will never be back to that store ever again. I have dealt with Staples lots when I lived in BC and always got good service but will never be back to the one in Whitehorse ever. I will also be letting other people I know of how bad the service is there now. read more

Do not shop here! Bought a printer here with extra toner. After two months I put in the extra toner cartridge and it was defective. Other cartridges would work. I figured the store would handle defective products they sold but the manager said " for expensive things, it had been too long". I showed him it was new and had not even put any toner out. This store will not take care of you. This is the second and believe the last issue I have had with defective products sold from them that they will not help with! read more

Staples in Whitehorse is a great place to be. If you're an employee there. You don't actually have to work! What a joy! While the prospective customers roam the aisles looking for items or anyone to offer assistance, you can stand at the front with the tellers having a grand old time, telling jokes and laughing your head off. Worst shopping experience ever. We ordered online. got an email that our items where ready for pickup, when we arrived at the store they did not have 2/3th of the order available. I then opted for replacement options and payed those by credit card. In the end we got charged DOUBLE so both for the products that did not arrive and those we bought at the store. We are still trying to get our money back but have over 10 hours clocked on the chat and phone with their so called customer service. absolute disaster, criminally so almost. read more
