listen, they're not perfect, but they go out of their way to make the customer happy. Had an excellent experience at the print shop with the staff. The cell service printers are pretty antiquated and time-consuming. The store is Zoe's well stocked and there's always people answer questions. There's plenty of parking and it's convenient. So is it perfect? No but who of us Is? read more

Staples Stamford TSA pre-check staff assisting today was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was very impatient and condescending. He was raising his voice at me and humiliating on front of the long line. Not treating people with respect. He needs a customer service training to treat people or customer with at least basic human respect. Disappointing. read more

Please beware. Staples does NOT ship FedEx packages even if the employees take your package and say they do. We were lied to and now FedEx won't cover a claim. The manager was absolutely useless. Rolled his eyes and said it's not his problem. I will not be coming back to this store. read more

Me again with another review - I'm really impressed by the people who work here. The long haired gentlemen with the tattoos... he is attentive, kind, and detail oriented! Staples has really done a great job and I just wanted to call out the great service here. read more

Jaycen was amazing with the problem I brought him today. He and Alex were so professional and polite OMG! Made my day and the return of a product that wasn't working so effortless. Thanks, Staples! read more

Staples - This printer was a lemon but no problem at Staples Summer St. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Stamford, Connecticut

When do you enter a Staples and you can find someone nearby to help; almost never. This Staples store is in a busy mall that is in great need of an overall for its parking lot. I find the parking lot stressful to maneuver and the weekend drivers are challenging. So when we finally entered the store and found nobody to help us, it just added to the anxiety we already experienced in the parking lot. But when we did, the gentlemen was knowledgeable and pleasant. This Staples should seriously do a better job of displaying products only that they have in stock. read more

I think Amazon returns might save Staples! Wanted to give a shout-out to Edwin and the lovely red-haired lady (not natural red, I wish I had gotten her name) at the checkout! They were attentive, kind, and gave great customer service. The $10 off coupon is such a great incentive- GO STAPLES! read more

Terrible place as far as shipping goes. In my first experience, my package was delayed for 3 days despite paying $60 for 2nd day Air. Got no refund. Second experience, an associate named Maria took 15 minutes to process my package despite me being the only customer there. She took so long the computer timed out and I had to stand there and complete it again. They cost significantly more than any other UPS and any USPS that I suggest you look for any and all other options before coming here to send out your packages. read more

Second review. Still slow, rude service. The online return/department is the worse. Really rude female clerk.

I am currently engaged in testing, treating and tracing contacts of COVID-19 individuals - needing some immediate office supplies, and to return an item, a biological imperative overtook me, and the need for use of the restroom was immediate. Denied. Wearing scrubs, N95, and clear identification as an MD ... Nope, sorry - no bathroom for the likes of you. "Our policy" Way to "honor" and "thank" first-line healthcare. read more

I spent $1100.00 (eleven hundred dollars) on a new HP business desktop. The machine repeatedly failed. It refused to stay connected to Wifi or the internet. I brought it back to the store. I left it for two days. They said they fixed it. I reinstalled at my office where it failed again. I returned it, and the store replaced it with a new model that cost me several hundred dollars more. The new one was an HP tower as well. It also failed to connect to the internet or Wifi. I then had to return this one too. This was my SIXTH trip to the store. I then bought a new Dell on amazon. The unit works flawlessly. Then, on my annual job review, I got docked for failing to turn in my work on time ( because I had no working PC- as both HP's were in a constant state of failure. It negatively impacted my annual bonus. Although the tech people at the store were nice, something surely was not going right in the tech department. I now find that the store never refunded my purchases price for the second HP unit. The entire situation was exhausting-draining and seemingly had no end in sight. Now, to find out, I didn't even get the proper refund. I cannot recommend the merchant or its services. I get a gag reflex even passing s Staples store. To think the event 'ate up' my annual bonus a double insult from Staples for certain read more

I'm NEVER coming back here. If you want fast service this is not the place to go. I came in on my lunch break wanting to use the computer to print. Only to find out that they were both down. The lady told me to send the document to her email so she can print it. I sent it and stood waiting there for 30min while she took her slow time walking back and forth fiddling around with some boxes. After 30min I decided I had enough and walked out. I received the same treatment once before. I blame myself for giving them another chance. Never Again! read more

Very disappointed with customer service at this staples location. Ordered a computer and was told it wasn't in stock at the store but was available at their warehouse location for pickup at the store the next day. No call received the next day to pickup and when I called to check on my order status the manager informed me my order was cancelled. Apparently they were out of stock on the item. So In essence I paid for a nonexistent item on sale at this location with little to no concern on managements part. Now I have to wait for a credit. Good way to go out of business with customer service like this!!! read more

Where else would anyone buy their school/office supplies. I have to say not only are the shop assistants helpful but their long hours mean that when I get home from the city I can still buy my notebooks and pens. I believe my only pet peeve is that they don't (or I haven't seen them) sell BIC traditional pens. read more

My greatest thanks to "Jodi" in the printing services department who acted immediately to send out an urgent fax for me. As soon as I walked up to her, she was very helpful, friendly and professional. She was very understanding of my needs and willing to help out without any hesitation. Not often that I run into employees like her at other Staples locations. Thanks again. read more

GREAT SERVICE, SHITTY STAPLERS...WHO KNEW? I was very pleased with my recent visit to Staples. I was immediately greeted by an associate who helped me find everything I was looking for. My only gripe....the stapler I bought there totally sucks! I mean it's probably fine for the layman neophyte stapler, but for a hardcore, extreme Milton-esque stapler like myself it just didn't cut it (or staple it for that matter). read more

Ordered 2 outdoor posters. It had to be sent out. It misspelled my name so revised. It was supposed to be delivered on the Tuesday after Labor day. They kept postponing my delivery. Staples has gone wayyyy downhill. They are closing over 200 stores. The ones that aren't closing, like this one are instead firing all of their "overpaid" fulltime enployees who have worked their for 5 or more years and replacing them with high schoolers. Good luck getting any decent help in this store anymore. read more

Writing supplies: paper, pens, pencils, ink cartridges--you know that outmoded stuff we all still love to use? Well, this is the Staples store in Fairfield County that I love the most. It's where I go to get my stationery fixes. They always seem to have just what I need: Pentel mechanical pencils and supplies, Radia pens, inexpensive paper, and Yup! black ink for my HP printer. The checkers are fast and accurate. What could be better? If by chance something is out of stock, the staff is readily available to help out with an order. When your stuff arrives, you get a call! read more

Avoid this place if you ness to do something that requires input from the Staples employees. Went in there to mail something. There was one employee in the mail station helping a lady print something. I stood there patiently for 30 mins while she completely ignored me. There were 3 more employees loitering around in an empty store but no one turned up to help me out. 45 mins later the manager turned mainly to fix the printer. He decided to help me out once I complained about waiting 45 mins. I asked for ups ground shipping and he flatly lied to me saying the ups only processes overnight and it would cost me $30 to ship my document. I left the store went to fedex-kinkos and got it done in 5 mins for $7. read more

The store is very well organized and staff is really friendly. Could use a little upgrade but overall, I really enjoy this location.

This Staples is located in the Ridgeway Shopping Center with entrances on Summer and Bedford Streets. It's pretty okay, but felt very sparse, with not a lot of selection. We had a hard time finding someone to help us, and the checkout line was pretty long. It seemed pretty understaffed. read more

Since we are shifting to a new place we were in dire need for boxes to suit our packing needs and Staples exactly had various sizes of the boxes. It also had packing bubbles to provide extra cushion to the things we would pack especially the fragile items. There were a lot of stationary items on clearance sell. I also got a free appointment for my PC tune UP :) read more

10am order online 3pm call store to confirm order. Told to arrive at 5pm to pick up 5pm arrive at store to pick up. They did not process the order. Told to wait 15 minutes. Unless you aspire for subpar service, take your business elsewhere, specifically fastsigns in downtown Stamford or really anywhere else. Rude staff with a attitude. The so called "manager", david is inept and has many shelves empty. I left store without what I wanted and and angry at store employees. Corporate really needs to fire all and rehire. I will never return to this again! read more

A couple of hours ago I went here to buy a wifi router. In fact, since I have a big house I was going to buy two. They keep empty boxes on the shelves, evidently to discourage theft, so you have to wait for a salesperson to retrieve a real item from the storeroom. With no employee around to help me, I asked the guy at the copy center desk for help. He called someone who was supposed to show up to help me. I waited a few minutes, and when no one showed up, I asked again. I asked a couple more times and kept getting reassurances, but finally I left and Staples lost a sale. I'll order from Amazon instead. read more
