I've been a loyal customer of The UPS Store in Greenwich ( 0822 ) for 10 years now. I bring them antiques that I sell from my online marketplace , 1ST Dibs. A year ago,I brought them an item that they packed and shipped, and it arrived broken. A week later, I brought them another item that they packed and shipped. It arrived broken. luckily, 1st Dibs' insurance policy, covered the losses. The next week I brought them a $1250.00 ceramic planter that they packed and shipped. It arrived broken. Three items in a row broke!! Unfortunately for me, 1st Dibs said they would no longer pay since there were to many claims. They advised me not to use this UPS store. My only option was to file a claim with UPS, which I did. A few weeks later UPS denied my claim because they deemed it improper packaging. For a year now I've been trying to get a refund for the broken planter with no avail. At first I thought Shalmi was sincere, but i now realize he was just appeasing me , hoping I'd eventually go away. A month ago, I went one more time to see if Shalmi was going to refund my money for the broken planter. He offered me a few free packing fees instead. I figured it was better than nothing. So the next week I dropped off a pair of mirrors. Guess what? One mirror arrived broken! I give up. This has been going on for a year, being brushed off, no phone calls returned, he never even reimbursed me for the exorbitant packing fees of the broken items!! Hopefully I'll have better luck in small claims court. read more

I don't understand why these 2 people behind the counter are working in the service industry?! their job is to provide a service and "maybe" be polite with your costumers? An older lady and a gentleman and none of them greeted the costumers when we walked in.... and not a "thank you" neither when I was done with my transaction. very rude service! It felt like they were bothered because I walked in and requested to ship a box. Does UPS train their staff before placing them behind the counter? I have been to other UPS stores and their staff are friendly, attentive and helpful! read more

After many years with a company and needing UPS, I have never been to a UPS with better service! The care and expertise that goes in here is unsurpassed each and every time! They greet you with kindness from the moment you enter. The staff goes out of their way to make sure all your needs are met and you leave completely satisfied. Shalmi and Gigi always make sure to even give the dogs that enter the best treats with lots of love entailed. I am shocked and dismayed to read any negative comments about the employees at this store. I have had only positive experiences and continue to do so. They are above welcoming and even give my dog treats whenever we go. If people find them rude, it is only because they themselves come in with a negative attitude. read more

the rudest people behind the counter! They ignore you, you make the line for service and then they tell you " you are in the wrong line" , but they see you come in, they see you waiting in line and there is no communication with the costumers , no system is applied. The worst UPS store I have ever been! Not a hello or thank you from this people. I will not go back to this location. read more

Always friendly and helpful but was very disappointed today to see a worker without her mask covering her nose. She was helping a visibly pregnant customer and pulled her mask down to her chin to speak to her. read more

I've read some of the mostly negative reviews and truthfully was a bit biased against them after an incident with the service dog last year BUT I have never had a bad experience and I go in every other week or so to drop off amazon returns. Worst store. Zero stars. Open Saturday 8-3, but claim they close 10minutes before closing. Bizarre. They never can find packages left. I literally had to point my package to the sales rep. This store is just horrible. If you want to close at 2:50pm on Saturday - then clearly mark that on your website and store front. This place is the worst. Why won't your publicly show my comment? The customer service at this UPS Store is bizarre, and they will try to charge you the highest rate unless you really ask and ask. Stay away if possible! If you need to mail something, instead try the U.S. Post Office just a ways up Putnam Road in the same shopping center as the A&P - it is hiding in the far corner - there are rarely lines and the people who work there are so nice. read more

Stay away from this business at all costs. Your monies for boxes, packaging and transport will be collected by the employees but your package will disappear somewhere before arriving at the intended destination. Employees do not care about you or your lost package. read more

The "Manager" of this store is so rude and is not helpful one bit. His nasty attitude pushes you out of the door and if you arrive to the store within a half hour of closing, he states he cannot service you because they are "closing". I would recommend anyone to run and use UPS services elsewhere otherwise you will be wasting your time and money here. This store is a horrible representation of the UPS brand and honestly should probably be closed being that they know nothing about customer service, have a poor work ethic, and clearly have consistently disappointed paying clients.
