I dropped it off with them and they replaced the screen. After getting my phone back, I realized that the face recognition and portrait mode on the camera wasn't working so I took it back in to them and was told it was the replacement screen being defective and that they would order a new one. The second screen was put in and face recognition/portrait mode still didn't work. They then told me it must be the camera and ordered a new one. Sure enough, the new camera was put in and it still didn't work They then told me that they must have damaged my phone when replacing the screen the first time and nothing could be done about it. I now have a phone that is broken and they weren't willing to offer me any kind of compensation! They are horrible people to deal with and I don't suggest anyone trust them with their devices!

And when I say broken, I mean completely unusable. So the decision was either: get a new phone, or have it repaired. Well, if you haven't noticed, new phones cost like $1,800 bucks. And none of the cell phone carriers have incentives for loyalty programs, so they'll give you a new phone if you switch service or switch plans, but they won't give you a new phone if you've been a customer for 10 years... So in both instances I got the cell phone screen repaired. In both instances I called around to the three shops in Coeur d'Alene that do this kind of work, the other two shall remain nameless. Both times, CPR was the least expensive, with OEM parts. Add on top of that the repair only takes like one to two hours. And in both instances I got my phone back the same day. That's a recipe for a five star review. And continually earned service, although I hope I never have to get my phone screen repaired again. This last time I also had them install a screen protector, which normally I do myself, but it was also very inexpensive and it just made things easier for me with the new phone screen. So yeah, I hope I never have to use them again. But if I do, I'm not going to call the other two places next time I'm just going to go straight to cpr.
