I went into the Apple Store in Cherry Hill because T-Mobile said since I have Apple Care/Insurance/Warranty, any problems with the device is handled with Apple themselves. First off, when you get in there, all the employees ignore you and act like you don't exist and you have to try to find one who "appears" to be available and ask them to help you. The representative who assisted me was named Sully, a white guy with long blonde hair, I showed him the video of the first time my phone started glitching and he ran a bunch of diagnostics, which did a whole bunch of nothing because everything came out positive, and he concluded that I needed a screen replacement. Of course the screen replacement can't be done the same day, like they don't have a bunch of employees in blue apple shirts walking in and out their back office door every two seconds, so I had to find time out of my already busy and booked schedule to make an appointment to bring my phone in and be phoneless for four hours while they replace the screen. Well, they replaced the screen and when I went to pick it up, they again ran their little diagnostics to show that everything was ok with the phone. One week later and my phone screen starts acting up again and this time it won't stop. I went a whole 24 hours without being able to use my phone, and the same night it happened, I scheduled another appointment with Apple Cherry Hill the following day so I can get my phone fixed, let alone replaced because the fact that this happened TWICE on a brand new released phone is insane quality control. The representative I spoke to this time, Norety, was completely unempathetic to my situation and looked like helping me was the least of her concerns. She was full of hot air and spoke with more confidence than she did knowledge. She concluded that even though the screen was replaced, it's actually the logic board that's the issue and needs to be replaced. Why wasn't the logic board also checked when doing the initial screen replacement if both are hand and hand with the screen glitch? Heaven knows. I then asked her how long would it take for me to get that replaced and she said since they don't have the part in store, they have to order it and wait for it to come which would take 3-5 business days. When I asked does that mean I have to go another 3-5 business days without a phone? (IN THIS DAY AND AGE MIND YOU) She said yes. When I asked if there's anyway that she can call other locations and ask if they have it in stock so I can make an appointment with them instead to get it fixed, she said No and they don't call around other stores asking about their inventory because that doesn't mean they'll reserve that part for me. Interesting, because I've done so much research and NOBODY has been having this issue with their brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max, but I told her to do it anyway and she "did". I'm sure she just went to the back and twiddled her thumbs for a couple minutes while I looked stupid sitting in the middle of the Apple store with my phone flashing a bunch of different colors. I then asked her if I could have a temporary phone and supposedly they don't give out temporary phones so I was just out of luck. When I told her at this point, can I just order a replacement phone and not worry about getting it fixed because CLEARLY the phone itself is the problem and not all these random parts they keep bringing up and saying is the problem, she told me I had to call AppleCare myself and they'll help me with the $100 Nonrefundable express replacement. WHAT ARE THEY HERE FOR IF IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF WHILE THEY PROVIDE NO IMMEDIATE SERVICE??? I called AppleCare and there's actually no $100 express shipping (shocker!) and that I actually have to pay the whole price of the phone ($1770) and once Apple receives my damaged phone, they'll refund me back the money. That's actually the pretty cool part about it. There's a small shared parking lot in front where I'm always able to find a spot because it's never really busy ... and I went 2 days before Christmas expecting a line. The customer service was MEH at best. I'm typically asked what kind of stamps I'd like but that wasn't the case and the woman literally disappeared the minute she handed me my receipt. But I mean the post office does the job it's supposed to do.

I had a very old lap top computer that had started to run like a snail in winter who got caught in a puddle of molassas. I arrived at Marketplace Commputers way too early, thanks to the errors of the internet search which indicated the store opened at 8:00am, but it opens at 9:00am. Anyway at about 8:55am our of nowhere I seen Jose who came in from the back. Well, as part of the opening ceremony, Jose went around turning on numerous computers that really gives you the feel this is a computer store and as well a service store. Well the opening ceremony lasts at least 5 to 8 minutes when at last Jose looks up with the suprise look of "Oh! Guess i have a customer waiting." Just then I realized, Jose could not have entered from the front as the front entry/exit was chained locked. Anyway, we conversed a while and I tried to get down to the issues of the laptop. Jose was ready for me to learn one of the basic problems that the computer I had had a mechanical disk and what would really help would be a solid state disk without the moving parts as my original which was likely the cause of my slow computer issues. Also, Jose showed me other upgrades and computers that would solve my issues at about the same price or slightly highter. I filtered in the options, but kept I coming back to my laptop, since I knew and understood it well and it was already set up for my Canon printer. That's an entire other issue. Last year, I purchased a new Dell computef Unfortunately, my Canon printer cannot be used as its no longer is supported with Windows 11. But, it does work on Windows 10 (my old snail computer). Thus folks, my decision was becoming clearer. So, I took one more look at Jose's prop of the rotating hard drive and the solid state drive and gave the go ahead of the solid state drive. Jose was able to "clone" all my material and when done it looked like my old set up. Nothing new to learn and fuss with and it worked much faster then the old spinning rotating drive which was likely filled with errors that Jose said was the cause of my snail issues. Lessons: 1. Listen carefully and learn your options from a knowledgeable computer expert repair person. 2. If you buy a Canon printer, prepare to be disappointed that upgrades may not be available. 3. Let Jose and/or Alex, the Owner work on your computer and provide you with up front expert advice so you can weigh your options. 4. Let Marketplace Computers take care of your computer needs. 5. Side note: Don't buy a color printer, especially the ones that go all Stop when one cartridge goes out. My Canon is a black and white and folks that's all you need. If you need color, carry the file over to commercial stores with a thumb drive. Let them print the file(s). Thank you Jose for a great experience. Knowledge is power!
