Digital Doctor Repairs is my go to electronic repair shop. I live about 30 minutes north from the…read moreshop via GSP, but I'd take the drive there for even the most minor of issues. I brought in my Xbox 360 last February for it to be fixed because the disc driver was broken. I only ever play 1 game on the Xbox, but I brought it in to be fixed and Leo and his team were happy to help. They fixed it perfectly and the Xbox has been working great ever since! I wanted to wait until after the 3 month warranty to write this, and now it's been almost double and still no issues! It was also pretty reasonably priced and honestly right around the range I was hoping it would be. I had called some other places out of curiosity to see what their price would be and Digital Doctor's price was better, the other places charged almost half just for a service fee. Digital Doctor Repairs has reasonable prices for excellent work, as someone who believes in "you get what you pay for". I think the job they did warranted more than I paid! I highly recommend Digital Doctor Repairs to anybody, regardless of location. They do accept mail ins! I appreciate the excellent customer service and friendly environment. I got to talk to the owner, Leo, when I dropped off and employee Dom when I came to pick up. Both of them were awesome. Next time I find myself there for whatever issue, I'll be sure to bring some treats for the cats.. as a long time viewer of Digital Doctor Repairs on YouTube Shorts, I can say they did not disappoint and absolutely lived up to the reputation they have from the videos. There is a stigma that some Content Creators are nice when the camera is rolling but different in person... my issue/interaction was not put up on YouTube and I can say it's not a facade! The reason I'm giving 4 stars is not because I have any issues with them. I do not ever give 5 stars because I believe nobody is perfect other than Jesus Christ.. I wish I could give 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow that! My only complaint was how long the repair took, but this was not the fault of them at all, as New Jersey was in the middle of some pretty bad snow that delayed the parts to come in. Thank you to Digital Doctor Repairs for being so great, and they deserve all the business they can get! Will be and have been recommending them anytime I know someone who needs a repair or wants to sell!

Get ready for story time! The way the "repair" of my original Xbox was handled was atrocious to say…read morethe least, I say repair in quotations because they actually didn't fix anything; as a matter of fact, my Xbox came back in worse condition when I received it yesterday than when it left my possession as 3 of the 4 rubber feet on the console are now missing. The most they MIGHT have done to the console is give it a light cleaning and it wasn't even that good of a clean as there was still dust on the out parts of the console. Digital Doctor Repairs logged that they created a ticket on May 26th 2026, I gave them a few days to check it out and possibly diagnose the actual issue (the issue was that the disc drive was no longer reading discs, I knew this was probably just a disc drive replacement and I could've done it myself BUT Digital Doctor Repairs policy states that if the customer has taken their console apart that they could reserve the right to charge a fee AND the console would only turn off if you unplug it, also the power button does literally nothing. Not sure what the issue was there and I still don't) I then attempted to call their store and actually got someone on the phone, it was a woman but they did not give their name. I asked for an update and they put me on hold for a few minutes, they came back and told me that the disc drive would need to be replaced and they the techs were still diagnosing the other issues and should be reaching out to me the next day (a Friday) to update me and get approval for the repair, this never happened and I even gave them the weekend, still nothing. So I called on the following Monday only to be greeted with an automated recording of Leo basically saying their store hours and that they no longer accept phone calls. I then attempted to fill out the contact us form, gave it a few days, never heard anything. I then emailed them directly, I was then texted with an update to my repair stating that the diagnosis has been preformed and that the repair would cost $220 plus the diagnostic fee which I begrudgingly accepted the repair even though it seemed like it was overpriced (and you can buy a fully working one on eBay for about $150 in decent condition) and asked if I could also get a screen protector for my phone as well when the Xbox is sent back, the person on the text line agreed to send one to me for free even though I was willing to pay for one. Now, this text conversation took place on June 18th 2026 almost a week shy of them officially having the console logged into a ticket for a full month, a little long but hey; they're busy and have a bigger following on YouTube and other social media platforms. On June 26th 2026, I texted for an update as I had not heard anything, just over a week later and on a Friday. I was then promptly texted back stating that the console was still being worked on and that I would receive a text message when the device is fixed and that the current wait time was 1-4 weeks (which we're already passed by at this point). I texted again on July 1st 2026 (almost a week later) stating that they had officially had my console for over a month at this point and have only been updated when I reach out for an update. There was some back and forth through texts about what could be done better for communication and it was stressed that they are overwhelming busy, which I understand and I've tried to give them a lot of leeway, but over a month of physically having the console and almost nothing being done to it is a bit ridiculous. Now to July 15th 2026, I received a text message that the repair was complete and that they are about to ship my Xbox back to me soon. It is also stated in this text that they are completely waiving the repair fee, which I'm 100% grateful for and expressed my gratitude. The package with my Xbox and other items I sent for testing arrived yesterday and it is still doing the SAME EXACT THINGS IT WAS DOING BEFORE I SENT IT IN. Not only that, I did not receive the screen protector I was told I was going to receive either.

Time was of the essence because we were leaving on a trip in a couple of days. I then decided to give J & S Phone Repair a try, and spoke to Peter who assured me he could get a replacement screen in a day or two. I had never heard of his business before but decided to give him a try, and am very glad I did! I brought the laptop to his store after I spoke to him on a Monday, and not only did Peter do an excellent job of replacing the screen, but also had it ready the very next day, Tuesday, sooner than he first estimated...and...made it look even newer than before! I have never had anything repaired so quickly and was truly impressed to say the least! I will highly recommend J&S Phone Repair on Rt 88 in Brick, NJ to all my family members and friends who might need his services. In addition, I felt the price he charged was fair and reasonable since Apple products are not inexpensive. Thank you, again, Peter, for coming through for us in such a short timespan and we hope this review generates more business for you in the future. Best of luck, Anne Ragucci and my granddaughter, Cora.

Pretty much just guessing and without proper diagnosing. If I come to you as a paying customer I expect you to do your job and tell me what the EXACT issue is, not just assume its the most expensive components of the computer without doing proper troubleshooting. Typically with something like this you would start with changing out the RAM and seeing if anything changes. Both CPU and Motherboard were still under warranty so I replaced those parts and brought them to him to install. He then claimed one of my ram sticks were bad ( which I believe to be the issue all along). For whatever reason he wiped out both of my hard drives on my computer. Without even informing me. One of which had 2 tb of storage. Completely unacceptable. When I brought him the last part I stated to him that I needed windows installed. ( If he was actually legit he would have known that windows was already installed on the M2 drive). Esentially I paid $300.00 and supplied parts for something minor (bad ram). At no point was he clear or communicated the EXACT issue, cost, or anything. I explained to him even if his rate was 75hr he did not spend 4 hours to install 2 parts wipe out my drive and install windows, but he was adamant that this was $300.00 of work. I called him after getting home and hooking up the computer to ask why my hard drives were erased, he played dumb and claimed that he informed me that they would be (Also a lie) and to unplug and plug them back up. I do not find him to be honest or do good business, and I urge people to take their business elsewhere.
