STORE #1211 Staples Macon, GA I went in to return an Amazon package. There were no other customers, just me and my mother. I was at the return counter and my mother was a few feet away looking at an ad on the counter. It's the same advertisement that was posted outside. The lady looked up from her computer and asked my mother "can I help you?" My mother pointed at me and said she needs help. The lady walked over to her and literally took the poster out of her hand, rolled it up and walked away. My mother told the lady she gives her a hard time every time she comes in this store. The lady then assisted me. The only complaint I personally have is that she had her back to us and went to my mom first. Because she wasn't paying attention and could have assisted someone else before me all because she wasn't paying attention. My mother is very upset by the lady's actions. It's disappointing to see that other people have had similar experiences with this location. It's an older black lady with a grey wig named Gerladeline. I usually go to UPS for my returns and that's what I'll continue to do. Much faster. I feel sorry for stables but it seems as though they don't care. The most unhelpful store I've ever been to. The woman that works in printing NEVER has a smile. The managers are super helpful if you're buying a warranty on something but ask for help printing and they are clueless. Just visited today and I absolutely hate the level of customer service here. read more

I have shopped at this location many times over the years. The employees are very nice and help the customers. I have always been very satisfied with this business and this location. Recently I needed to fax some important documents. There was 16 pages. They wanted $2.25 per page. This is $36 plus taxes. I understand that phone charges are a cost , but there are no supply cost to send a fax . So why charge per page? Needless to say, this will probably be my last trip here. After many years of buying school and office supplies, I am left with a bad taste in my mouth . I don't want any freebies, I only wish to be treated fairly. read more

I was here on tueday trying to get my recept out of the terminal so I can get off my computer..So I spent 45 minutes there I think did something wrong so this guy that manager dept had help customer came over .So now he walk away he goes back where he was sitting I ask from there .So I said for get it.And as I was my way out a gentleman ask did you find everyhing or can we help I say no.I tell him wat problem .So here come guy he ask can you help i aside never mind. He should have said anybody need help. They used to have a young guy who was mad helpful 3 months ago. But this guy no good. So I had come back after messing with Mt phone 10 minutes he seen me.So since I still could get thermal to open.so I left.Never coming back again. read more

I went to this Staples to buy printer cartridges solely because the web site says they offer a 10% Military discount. The ink cartridge I needed was actually $4.00 more than the same cartridge at Walmart, but I just try to avoid the Walmart near this store because of the TERRIBLE part of town it's located in. When I got to the checkout, I showed the guy on the register my military ID, he acknowledged it and said ok. When he gave me the sale total, it did not deduct the discount. I challenged him. At first, he claimed that Staples didn't offer a military discount. I took out my phone and showed him on the web site where it clearly said that for 2022, there was the 10% military discount. He came up with at least 3 excuses why it didn't apply. These retailers need to understand that a VERY large percentage of the population are "informed shoppers" in todays economy. It does irreparable damage to them to play the "smoke and mirrors" game today. I will NEVER, NOT EVER, darken the door of a Staples again. read more

You know that scene in 'Finding Nemo' when Marlin meets Dory for the first time, she tells him that she just saw a boat pass by, he follows her, then (because of her short-term memory) she gets annoyed that this random fish is following her and she tries to evade him? Minus the encounter with a great white shark at the conclusion of that scene, I had that exact experience with a salesperson in this store the other day. I wasted more than half an hour of my time here and left empty-handed. This Staples location has lost my business for good. read more

I visited Staples to purchase a new computer system and monitor that was advertised in their current sales ad. The store was seriously understaffed for a Tuesday afternoon. After waiting to be able to speak with the salesperson for about 20 minutes, I asked her to please get a computer system for me. Her inventory showed that they had three left, however after about another 15 minutes, they weren't able to locate any. I asked about the monitor, and there were no more of those either. After all that waiting, I left with a bottled water and a new memory card for my camera. The salesperson that I worked with was very pleasant and made the most of her limited resources, but this trip will keep me from wasting my time there again. I was very disappointed. read more
