Why does yelp keep loosing or deleting my reviews. I have done a review for this location before. I really don't want to write it again. Staff is nice but there are not enough of them, the are often juggling too many things and seem worn out, I feel for them. They could use ore training too. I needed something printed and sent FedEx and the woman working the counter had no idea what to do. I came behind the counter, put in my thumb drive printed my files, located the shipping envelope, took her to the computer and showed her how to set up a print order in their system (which I had never done before) and sent my job though. She was able to check me out so I could pay. And no it wasn't her firs day, I had seen her there in other areas several times. I didn't mind helping her, I was disappointed she was left in an area where she had not been trained how to use the computer and do the job needed in that section. For some reason they have gotten rid of most of the office furniture and some of the office chairs and replaced it with flea market stye large bin filled with returns and junk marked down to almost nothing. It cheapens the showroom and brings down the whole place, they are ugly, the packages and items in the giant bins are open, broken and picked over. read more

I gotta be honest, I'm not a fan. Walked in to get a notebook made for a work project. I advised the associate the document may be too large to send via email. They say this is the only way they can help me. I asked if they possibly had a store USB, which I have experienced at several other Staples locations. No. Okay, so I send the email and pray it works. While waiting, an older gentleman is asking how to use the fax machine. Instead of the associate walking over to help, which is her job, she shouts at the guy from across the counter. Now, being an older gentleman he didn't quite understand her instructions, so I walked over to help him. Two minutes of my time and the gentleman was helped. With the customer service severely lacking, I wait 9 minutes before an email is shot back to me stating the Staples email is full and cannot receive any other emails. The associates give me a store email to send which pops back stating the document is too large to send to the store email. The ever so helpful associates tell me the only other way would be USB. I asked if they really thought it should be the customer's responsibility to pay for a USB drive to transfer a document given their email is full. Literally a shrug and an overall yes. I'll drive literally anywhere else, even pay more money if I have to, not to go back to this Staples. Bad service. I had a last minute interview and wanted to print only 2 resumes out. I asked if that was ok and they said it would take an hour. I said why can hour ?! You guys can't just help me out please. She said we need to " delegate our time" I could not believe it. Last time I was there. This women printed a paper out for me in seconds. I run a local business and have been using this Staples location for my printing needs for some time now. My orders can sometimes be complex and time consuming, yet Julie who runs the printing area is always so patient, thorough, and helpful. Recently, their GM, Jesse, was quick to accommodate anything I asked for regarding a printing job I needed, and took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the services I received. The store is typically very busy and I consistently notice that their staff patiently assists every single customer. Keep it up! You guys are doing a great job! read more

Staples is a good place for office supplies, small stationery items for teachers and supplies for students. I can't complain because Staples is not known to carry supplies only for teachers. I was looking forward to decorating my classroom but I guess I'll have to go somewhere else. read more

I walked up to the copy and print center and was asked if I was picking up. When I replied with "no," the female working said, "so.. what do you want?" I let her rude attitude slide because I needed to get my little project done. I needed to have a document down sized into a little book and I was told no way, it couldn't be done. I told her it can be done because I've seen it. She goes well, if you have the digital copy I could do it. Hmmmm ok. Why not say that in the first place? Second part, I had another document that was already a small book but needed to be cut out. She said they charge $3 to cut each piece of paper.. x 30 pages would be $90 to cut paper. This store has the rudest, least helpful employees of any store I've been in. After the rude lady behind the desk, where you ask for things like business cards, was finished doing nothing but getting mad every time I needed help, I just left. There was one lady, middle aged that was helpful. She was the only person in there that seemed concerned in any way about their job. I will avoid them at all cost, unless they are the only place in town that has what I need and I'm in a hurry. read more

I give staples a low rating not because of poor service but because the store is outdated with the exception of its reproductive ability everything else can be done or bought faster and cheaper online. The place has been a staple....of jacksonville for many years but aside from catering to an older generation tbat is still reluctant to embrace technology the store is a dinosaur lumbering around in its final stages of life. read more

Staples is definitely my choice for office supplies if I need something quickly or if I want to browse in person. The store is clean and well-organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. They are rarely (if ever) out of stock on the toner I need and their emailed coupons are plentiful. They definitely get a thumbs up. read more

I'm reaching out to acknowledge the excellent customer service I received from Manager Ken and the copy center associate Whitley. My two teen grandchildren and I were at the Jacksonville, NC store late afternoon on Sunday. Whitley was patient and professional while walking me through the scanning process, she also interacted with both of the kids and tended to another customer at the same time. She provided equal attention to all of us in the copy center with grace and kindness. I asked the manager Ken a question and of course he walked me to where the items would be and we had the most pleasant conversation during that time. He's very cordial and has an excellent manner of communicating. I hope that you'll give these two a pat on the back and share with them that they made our day! The task that I'd dreaded ended up being an excellent time at Staples. We'll return again especially as school starts and prior to that, I need another office chair! This Staples is large and has a lot of options which I like. I went to buy a new printer today and three of the four staff members I encountered seemed like they hated their job. I'm not sure what was going on but, good customer service goes a long way. You should at least speak to the customer you are ringing up. read more

Came to this staples to purchase some map overlays for my husband, the manager was extremely helpful (which is why I gave this one more star than I wanted to) even though I came in about 10 minutes to closing. He saved me some money by letting me know I could individually buy the overlays at the copy section of the store. So I walk up to the counter and the lady behind the counter, I *think* her name was Amanda but don't hold me to that, looks up at me and sighs--Really? Lady you're getting paid to be there sorry I interrupted your Facebook time when you thought you were skating the last 10 minutes at work, so I tell her what I need and she looks at me like i'm stupid with another sigh "you mean projector paper?" at this point I'm about to get really freaking Florida on this broad because my biggest pet peeve is rude people for no reason. At this time another lady walks up behind me in need of having something shipped, she immediately snaps at the lady "Well we are about to close so I doubt I have time for you". The lady behind me and I shared a moment of "wtf this b&%$& must be hungry or something". Anyways I got what I needed and will avoid the rude lady at Staples next time and order from Amazon Prime because I would hate to make that lady have to get out of her chair to pick up some papers and put them in a bag for me.
