Amazing customer service, only place nearby that does Amazon returns, fast and reliable

The UPS Store is my happy errand place! It's always speedy, it smells unexpectedly amazing (seriously, what is that scent magic?), and the ladies who work there are the absolute best. I swear they must have a "no judgment" policy for Amazon returns because I walk in with yet another box, and they greet me with smiles every time. They're always cheerful, super helpful, and make the whole process so easy, I actually enjoy going in. Who says that about errands? I love this place! read more

Yesterday, I stood in line for 20 minutes in an overly crowded store just to discover they did not have a notary, even though they advertise the service. With two employees working and becoming a notary is easy, why schedule two workers at the same time with neither being notaries when the service is clearly advertised? Also, if no notary available, why wouldn't this be posted on the door or have the workers announce periodically at times when the line is wrapped around the store that no notary is available? read more

Simple task. Copy two pages. That is all I needed. Lady was happy to help, and checked me out quickly. No one in the store, which is unbelievable. This store is always busy. Cedar Point UPS is my local store. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions I have and assist in packaging my shipments. This store is typically busy but they work hard to move the line along quickly. The store offers a variety of services. I've heard other consumers compliment the staff as well. We cancelled directv & were directed to head to the local UPS store for packaging & shipment. Our closest one is this one which is about 30 minutes from our home but well worth the drive. There is ample parking & the store is located at the end of a strip mall area. Upon walking into the clean, well organized office we were greeted & immediately helped. I handed the bag I had of directv items & the staff checked to ensure everything was as expected to prevent future issues with directv. They checked for my account, verified information, packaged it & provided tracking information for me. They asked if I had any questions & provided ample opportunity to ask. Also, they provide lots of packaging items such as bubble wrap, cards, tape, etc. there was also a small table for kids to keep busy while parents work to ship items. I needed copies made, I arrived at 1:10 and waited in line for 15 minutes. The place was packed and the "manager" was sitting in the back doing nothing that I could see, while two other employees were working hard. The guy in front of me was told he'd have to talk to the manager to get copies made. She helped him but wouldn't help me. She told her employe I'm on lunch right now. I won't be back again and I've used this store numerous times. A manager is paid to represent the owner.. if she is the owner wow. My advice, please try to be kind, or find another job, and don't come to work if you don't want to work. read more

This local UPS store was recently sold to new owners. What was previously a store with excellent service provided in an efficient and friendly manner, has become inefficient and unfriendly. I just left after waiting behind 8 other people, with 2 more behind me. The new employee was doing her best, even though she had to call the other 2 employees for help on occasion, getting no response until she had called several times. I commend her for not becoming too rattled by the long line. The other 2 employees were not helping, at all, with the other customers in this long line. They were putting up boxes in the supply area and doing other jobs that were more important than providing customer service. When one employee?/owner? came out, finally, she was curt, unsmiling, and seemed to be disgusted that she had to help her customers. If you don't want to work there, there are plenty of other people who could do your job. Avoid this store if you can. read more

The store is a complete scam. I've asked a person to ship me a belt (weight under 1 lb) from NC to CO and told that individual, that I'll pay him back for the shipping charges. He was charged $32 for ground delivery of a pants belt! I was absolutely outraged by the amount, but had to wait for the package to arrive. Turns out, that the weight was indicated 12 lb...For a belt.... in the package that fits on my palm....I've contacted the store, but was told by a clerk that the weight is generated by the scale, and the store has nothing to do with it. Long story short, the store refused to investigate the case in order to correct their mistake. read more

The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Cedar Point, North Carolina

If you are shipping UPS, make sure that you pay for and print your labels online before coming in to this store. We shipped two boxes and they happily added ten dollars to each package price compared to what we had estimated online. Naturally, the cashier was kind enough to call the one for us, but the conversation consisted of obvious keywords that indicate which answer she expected - and received. The owner didn't care in the least. We called UPS and were told that they have no control over what franchises charge. Get off the phone. read more

Had a small package less than a pound that needed shipped to Australia. Guy at the counter weighed it then told me $77 to ship it. I asked why so much he just shrugged and said don't know. Went to the post office and the same package was $14. read more

I've had good experiences with this store in the past but the last two times I've been in there I've been charged for boxes that I never consented to buy. The workers have become fairly pushy. I'm extremely disappointed in this store and will not use them anymore. read more

I have used this store for years for shipping needs. I needed a homemade cookbook copied and explained To the manager how I wanted it, and then we agreed on a price. First, I waited two weeks and didn't hear anything, so I called the store only to stay on hold for 13 minutes. I had to hang up. Then I called back and finally learned that the books were ready, but no one had called me. I then went to pick up the books and nothing was like what we talked about, so I was told they would fix them. When I returned three days later, I noticed the bottom of every other page was missing. A recipe without the directions is no good. The clerk told me if I wanted it right, I would have to buy those and then they would charge me for another set of copies! I wont be doing business there again. read more

This place is horrible. I ship items regularly for my side business and probably visit a UPS store once or twice a week. After moving to Cedar Point I looked up the store closest to my address and this one was it. I went into the location to ship a small item that I had packaged and requested $200 insurance for. The snarky woman behind the counter nastily asked me what was inside the small package that would require additional insurance. I have never been asked (outside of the federally required questions they are lawfully required to ask customers) what I am shipping as it is none of their business. She then had me fill out a paper with my address and the address of the recipient when it was clearly typed on my prepackaged item. She then took this paper and entered it all into the computer. I asked her why I was required to rewrite the information when it is clearly written on my package already and she completely ignored me and my question. Such a waste of time. She then told me I had to buy another item from them to ship my package when it was already properly packaged. When I said I didn't want to buy any other packaging material and that I have never had an issue sending the package out the way it was, the other employee standing next to her chimed in and said "it's only $1.50 why can't you just buy it?". And the woman said unless I bought the additional packaging, she would refuse to process it. Again, I ship A LOT of items and have never dealt with such a rude person. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would encourage management to look into retraining some employees in customer service. read more

Shipped a package for the first and last time at this store. Lost my package, had 100 dollar insurance but only received 58 of it. Which doesn't even cover the cost of the package and shipping cost let alone my time back and fourth to the store and on the phone for over a month trying to get my refund from a package they lost. When I finally got told on the phone after yet another call to find out where my money was, I was told I could come get the check. Lady at the counter was rude as hell. Seen the check wasn't for correct amount and she could of cared less. They had no intention on making this right or valuing their costumers. The workers were not dressed professionally, the attitude lady had jogging pants and a t shirt on and hygiene was not up to par. I was fare warned this story was shitty but figured it can't be that bad in this little town of cedar point. Boy was I wrong. Never again. Do yourself a favor and use FEDEX. read more

Worst experience. I have been to many different postal stores and didn't think that there could be a difference when choosing to go to one closer to my house. I was wrong. Even though the employees seemed nice they weren't very helpful. This is the first place I have been to where they did not pint labels for me which I thought was odd. Not that I'm lazy, I had the addresses already written out in preparation for them to type it out but I guess not. Also while sending my packages they didn't give me any options or inform me when I should expect them to be delivered. After they tossed my package in the outgoing pile I had to ask when m package would get there. It was a birthday present and would've spent the extra money to get it there on time. After informing me that it would not get there in time, I just left it as is because I would rather leave then give them any more of my money after their service. Should've went to USPS....when do you ever hear anyone say that. read more
