Despite appearing somewhat understaffed and harried, everyone has been courteous and competent in meeting my limited needs. As of 9/4/2025, this is the LAST dry cleaners in the city of Jacksonville. The coin laundry side has been closed for some time but the dry cleaners remains open for limited days and hours and the building and business are for sale because "they can't find anyone to work". I'd guess the unspoken part is "for what we pay", but still . . . from a half-dozen dry cleaners in town to one, but they ARE OPEN.* *Other than on-base, Model Cleaners from Wallace apparently has store about 4 miles out of Jacksonville off 258 at 100 Fall Creek Drive. I've not seen it, but the address shows it's in the little 5 storefront building that also houses Patriot Blinds. The only other I know of, Squeaky Cleaners on Country Club Road, is not accepting new business as they are closing soon due to the owner's retirement.

I stopped by there a day or so later to get my husband and son's suits cleaned and they already had my dress finished ahead of schedule. I really liked the service they provided so I had my daughter take her wedding dress to them to be cleaned before the wedding. She previously had outdoor bridal photos taken and the bottom of the dress was pretty dirty from where it dragged the ground. They are able to clean it up like new and at a great price! Their drive-thru drop-off is on the right side of the building. I found the staff to be friendly. There only appeared to be one person working the drive-thru and walk-up counter, so drop-off & pick-up were a little slow. At $1.49, the price for men's dress shirts to be more than reasonable. Shirts were ready the next day as promised. Since their sign now says $3.49 instead of $2.99, I'm guessing they increased their prices on suits & uniforms. All said, I'll be back, because they delivered what they promised in a timely a manner for a reasonable price.

Machines are ALWAYS broken down and it seems to take an excessively long time to get them fixed. It took them about a month or so to get a new coin machine. Today, on a day that is 86 degrees, the A/C is broken. Quite simply, it is apparent the owners do not reinvest money into this business. It's almost as if they're content to just run it into the ground. A shame because many members of the community rely on this laundromat. Hopefully they will improve their business practices and improve their business. P.S. I used their dry cleaning services twice. Never again. Heavy starch is like no starch when you get your dress shirts back.

I sat down rather than stand in line, so one woman who came in with a dress to be altered took advantage of my momentary distraction and took my rightful turn and skipped me. I ended up waiting at least another 30 minutes (an hour total) to be given attention and she had major alterations that she wanted the same day and she didn't even have on the same undergarments that she was planning to wear. As you can imagine this made the woman pinning the garment for alterations at a disadvantage. She had to keep repinning the garment at the woman's whims. Her daughter along with her had a formal dress to be hemmed. But she didn't have the shoes she'd be wearing and the woman who had to mark up the dress for alterations had to go search for similarly heeled shoes that the woman described she'd be wearing so she could stand on top of them to have the dress prepared for alterations. Both mother and daughter wanted their clothes ready the same day within a few hours. So inconsiderate of the workers. And of the other customers. I will not be back. I am sorry that the tailors and other workers there have to tolerate these kinds of inconsiderate jerks.

I was told they weren't sure they could get a stain out of my suit jacket, didn't even ask me what the stain was, and there didn't seem to be much interest in assisting me further. I also had two suits and a few additional items to have dry cleaned but didn't feel welcomed or encouraged to stay.
