Always only one person , i shouldn't have to wait for 30 minutes in line to pick up something i've already paid for days in advance. This is a quick and reliable location for Amazon returns. We walked up to the customer service desk and returned several items within minutes of arriving. Service personnel were very responsive. Not a true print center! I needed 6 pages printed in color on card stock. In order for Staples to do that, I'd have to purchase a pack of card stock and print on their machines. Went to the print center to use one of the copiers to scan something to a USB. The machine takes you through the process and I can't hear the copier working. I have absolutely no way of knowing if it worked. That will be 60 cents. OK....so, I tried to scan it to my friend's email. Again, machine doesn't move or make a noise. Another 60 cents... I ask for help. AND, I have run into this associate before. She comes out and helps; HOWEVER, she has the most condescending tone throughout. "See... you can barely hear the machine when it scans." Then, she says, "You can add your email address so you can see if it is sending. It won't cost you anything." So, I did that. Went to check my email on my phone. She says, "Are you checking to see if its in your email?" Well, yes... Then, she says and looks at me like I am stupid (still in her condescending tone), you have to hit scan again. Well, if I do that, it will charge me again. She said, "Yes." OMG! How about give me instruction with out the attitude? Every copier and scanner out there is different. I was so mad. I stormed out of there. As I left, she said, "Have a good rest of your day?" Why is this girl working in customer service? I worked in customer service for years and I would never have treated much less talked down to her the way she did me. I was nice until she made me feel like an idiot. It's our one chain store for office supplies and computer gear. There are other, local, office supply stores and computer shops in town but unless you want to make the trek over to Augusta or Columbia, this is a pretty good 'one stop' for everything from markers and sticky notes to laptops and desktops. I stop here regularly to pick up repair and cleaning supplies for my customer's computers and to upgrade my own equipment every now and then. Their inventory of computer hardware and software has shrunk a bit since I first moved here, making room for things like GPS and MP3 players and the like. Still, if you need something quickly that's pretty standard stuff - it's a quick stop. Otherwise, you go to the 'Net for what you need. Their online site works pretty well and their Rewards program is worth signing up for. Besides special coupons you sometimes get 'Staples cash' checks that you can spend in the store (which come in handy if you need a high end item). One time I got a coupon for a free box of pens but they 'ran out' before I got mine. Otherwise, much of the staff is friendly and helpful but it can get so busy sometimes that all of them are tied up. So, if they have what you want, just be patient and one of them will get around to you when they can. On April 5, 2019 I took my iPhone 6S Plus to staples for a 29.99 Battery. Upon my return I was informed that my phone was no longer in a working condition due to my phone having a third party screen replacement. Staples only solution was to have my phone sent to their off site repair and I would have to pay half the costs. This store has the most wonderful people. Very bright and clean inside!! Wide isles make it easy to get around. I love this store. For a small business owner it has everything I need. I took my iPhone for a screen replacement. Great customer support . Filled out paperwork, we went over Staples check sheet for any issues. Prepaid for services and left a callback number for when they were complete and the time they estimated would be the next day some where close se to 3 . I wasn't in a hurry so it did not matter. I live close and went by around 5 pm. My phone was ready, just never a call back for when repaired. The young man went over the checklist to verify everything was functioning and off I went.. super pleased and 5 star here! read more

Misunderstanding in the parking lot later at night put me (woman alone) in an uncomfortable position. Decided to go in to complain to management a few days later. Turns out, the manager, Josh, was the one in the parking lot that night that behaved rudely. I gave him ample opportunity to apologize for the situation during conversation, but apparently his ego didn't allow for him to simply say "I'm sorry." Very poor judgement and handling on his part. I discovered Fed Ex over by Walmart has a wonderful copy machine and friendly staff since they have taken over Kinko's. I'll take my business there from now on. Mistakes happen, but how the issue is handled is what makes the difference in retaining customers. read more

Whenever I am in Aiken, I make it a point to stop at this location and pick up supplies. My community has the unfriendly competitor. Rarely, do you wait in line. Once, back to school, but it moved fast. In case you ate not knowledgeable about computers, printers, software, etc., the staff will assist you. I find the staff a reference point not a sales force, re phrase, pushy sales force. read more
