Having grown up with this and it being made at the original Stans market, I haven't had it in awhile and can tell you IT IS NOT the same! It tastes of chemicals/additives and was orange in color and not much flavor. Guaranteed, will NOT be purchasing again. Such a shame. read more

What has happen to your pimento cheese, it's not creamy anymore, it's dry & has chunks of cheese not mix in, I have also preferred this brand but not anymore. Please improve!! read more

I notice a lot of reviews saying they bought some Stan's that was soupy and not good. I only had one ocassion like this, The Stan's was terrible. Been eating it forver, and it has always been my go to. I was upset! I thought they had changed the product. Never had a bad Stan's since read more

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO STAN'S PIMENTO CHEESE????? I have always loved Stan's pimento cheese and have even gone to a different store to purchase. Just bought a container with a January/2024 expiration date and it is NOT like it used to be. It is soupy and appears to have much less cheese in it. The flavor and texture is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. I can't believe I paid $7.49 (Harris Teeter) for this junk. I'll have to find a different brand. read more

Since i am unable to reach the office of Stans due to no voice mail set up, I am writing to let you know that once again there has been a recall on the pimiento cheese with the barcode #84916-12814 with Best Buy date of September 11, 2024. I received an email notification from Lowes Foods of Cape Carteret, NC and returned 2 cartons and got a store gift card in the amount of $13.24 since I no longer had the receipt. I hope this message reaches Stan's Cheese Factory, Burlington, NC read more

Our family absolutely loves Stan's Original Pimento Cheese. We have always loved pimento cheese on a cracker but for many years we stayed away from buying any pimento cheese because most other brands had 'filler.' And usually there were lots of mayonnaise and very little cheese. Stan's is just the opposite. Lots of cheese, pimento and cracked pepper with very little mayo. It may not be the cheapest, but Stan's is well worth the price. Love the fact that it is also manufactured locally in Burlington. Keep up the good work Stan's Quality Foods. read more

I too bought stans pimento cheese. Ours had an expiration of 6/15/2024. I opened and it had mold growing in several places. Food lion was nice enough to replace it. They trashed and said the company won't know about it unless consumers let them know. Unfortunately when you call it rings until it says no mailbox has been set up. We've eaten for years. We've tried several brands but so many are terribly salty. We will definitely be shopping around again!! Stans has changed in recent years and has an almost gelled type texture. Not creamy. read more

I bought 2 containers of Stans Pimento Cheese at Lowes in Jamestown NC. They had an expiration date of May 24, 2024, on them. Both containers, when opened had mold in the center of the container. Lowes is gracious enough to refund them, but we have always loved this pimento cheese but will not purchase in the future. I see other complaints are addressing the same mold issue. read more

I love your Pimento Cheese! I am addicted to it. There are many that I have tried but they do not compare to yours. I am finding it in less stores than I used to. All the Food Lions had it and now there is only one that carries it. Please get it in more places. I am on the coast, New Bern area of NC. Thank you. Sandy Harris read more

As others have noted, product changed several years ago.... more mayo, less cheese. I still like (love) the taste. Several years ago they stopped putting tamper-proof lids on the containers. Not a good idea. With the last two purchases (we buy all or Stan's from Harris Teeter) there were one or two small patches of mold on the top of the product when we first opened it, and both were well within the expiration/use by date on the bottom of the container. So, great taste, but what I consider to be two food safety issues. read more

The last two tubs I've purchased have been mostly mayonnaise and pimentos and very little cheese. It will be a long time before I purchase again. I'm beginning to think they send the substandard product the food lion. read more

This is my favorite pimento cheese. I have not been able to get it in the larger container at my grocery store. Has your company quit selling in the larger container? The little one is just enough to make you mad. It could be my store as well, but I have checked other Food Lion stores and have not found the larger container! read more

Stan's Pimento Cheese has Hit Rock Bottom. The Last two Containers were Soupy. Makes a terrible Sandwich. Don't waste your money. I tried to find a phone number to call and Complain. But had no Luck. read more

My wife and have been using Stan's for several years, but lately it has been too runny and will not spread evenly. Impossible to toast. Too much mayo That stupid lid design does not belong on anything.Fire the designer.. read more

They make the best pimento cheese I have ever tasted. Unfortunately they don't ship their product outside of NC. This and Texas Pete Hot Sauce are two of the things I miss most out here. read more

The only pimento cheese I will eat. It IS a southern classic, and everyone has their own way of enjoying theirs. Stuffed in beef patties, dipped with crackers, or just on two slices of bread. I buy this product as often as need (yes, need). Not sure why Walmart doesn't carry this brand, but it makes me love it all the more. read more

What a shame! I've heard rave review on Stan's pimento cheese on the Food Network site and other sites. I went on the net to look up and see if I could buy it on line and they don't ship outside of NC? I'm thinking this is an untapped business venture:-) I would definitely buy some just to try and if I liked it, I'd keep buying. Maybe I'll have a friend who lives in NC send me some to try. read more

While I love Stan's pimento cheese and think it is the best around, I hate the new lid. It is almost impossible to open. My 80 year old mother cannot open it and I suspect they will lose business over this. read more

I do like Stans but time to get rid of the fructose corn syrup & lid. It is a nightmare to try & open!!

One of the best pimento cheese spreads you will ever eat. A few months ago someone upset the apple cart and put a new lid that takes two gorilla's to remove. If it was just the first time you opened it, it would be a little easier to deal with but it is almost as much toil the second time, etc. What were you thinking Ms. Trapp? read more
