If i could give 0 stars, I would. Trust me Tyler, TX and surrounding cities!!!! DO NOT USE! DID NOT PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN, and refuse a refund!!!!! Choose another company in Tyler for your carpet cleaning needs unless you want to pay for nothing! Posting this so it will help others save time and money. This is long BUT to start off..... I have had this service before at an old rental. Thought they did a great job... until i moved out of another one this last month. I scheduled them to come on the 31st, and had to turn my keys in on the 1st. Keep in mind my water and electric were both shut off and transferred on the 1st. I was called into work the morning i scheduled them to come. I called ahead, made payment arrangements over the phone, and gave permission for them to enter the house upon arrival. After i got off, i went over to do one last walk through and get a few small pieces of furniture left ON HARDWOOD. NOTHING was left on the carpets for them to move or work around. There was still an abundant amount of dog hair, dirt, debris, and random carpet junk from living in a house for 2 years that i could see with my naked eye. The carpets were not even DAMP. Like i said, I've had their service before so I know what the carpet should look like and feel like the day of a true cleaning. Just to confirm my observation, i vacuumed the stairs and top floor for the remains of a "professional cleaning" to fill my entire vacuum dump canister. They were closed for NY, but I called and requested a refund. The service was not done, it seems like AT ALL. I truly believe they didn't do a single thing. I submitted an incident report with the call center in hopes to hear from a manger and was told they would process a refund after reaching out. After the manager called on Friday, I was refused a refund and he stated "they don't do refunds and that he could reschedule the service." MY WATER AND ELECTRIC ARE SHUT OFF AND I TURNED IN MY KEY. They need water to clean!!!!!!!! I can no longer access the unit. I told him this, and he continued to give me run around and still scheduled for them to come take a look this past Saturday. I called back and told (the lady) what happened, that they are unable to get inside, there are no working utilities to do the job right, and to cancel the appointment. I wanted to save THEIR time from going out there to a locked house. SO long story short, I'm out of $130 for a service that was not "professionally" done. ALSO, my landlord will want the carpets clean for the next tenant and guess what they will pay for that with!!! My deposit. I cleaned and fixed things up so MUCH to get my deposit back, and Stanley has officially scammed me out of $300+ for what I paid plus what the landlord will take for the service AGAIN. I told stanley that i reported this to my landlord, and they told me they did not want to use this company again!! I don't blame them. I agreed. Stanley refuses to do anything about this, but "send someone else out" which I've explained is not possible. Do not waste your time or money on lazy employees, or this terrible customer service! They don't even want to back that they have employees that do not want work at 8am. & scam people out of their money. I paid for a service, that was obviously not done correctly and I get nothing in return. I wanted clean carpets, but i get neither clean carpets or a refund from a TERRIBLE job. If i had working utilities and a key for the changed locks, i would let them in. But i literally can not. It should've been done right the first time, and since it wasn't.. they should just do the right thing for this situation, but refuse. Just proof that they don't care about their customers!!! Save your time, energy, and money. Moving out is already stressful, and very expensive. I recommend to spend your money with a more professional and caring company. It's like something stopped working while they were steam cleaning. When they first left we thought it looked like that because it was wet, but no that's just how they cleaned. Now my carpet just looks funny, and obviously it could have been cleaned better so I know I didn't get what I paid for. read more

I had my tile and laminate flooring cleaned at the beginning of Oct. 2019. After returning home, i was very disappointed, and called them. They came back around Oct 30 to re do. They spent 8 or more hours on my laminate flooring in 4 rooms and hallway. The floor looked good. However, during Thanksgiving i had my front door opened and noticed from the sunlight that it appeared i could see all my seams lifted. I went over and i was able to place my finger nail in all the seams. Therefore, i began watching the area. Shortly after, i decided to open my window shades and look at other areas of flooring. Long behold, the seams were doing the same thing. I started thinking what is going on? So i begin asking around. They all asked how i cleaned my floors? I told them how I cleaned them, and they said that would not effect the seams; however, i did have my laminate floors cleaned in Oct. I told them that Stanley Steamer did say they removed all polish and that it took them 8 HOurs. The floor expert gentleman immediaty said they removed the sealant or material used to seal the seams by the original installer. With that being removed leaves the flooring unprotected in tbe seams, that is why it is happening in seams, and only the areas that were visible and cleaned the most. Therefore, i waited until after the Holidays to contact Stanley Steamer. On the 9th of January i sent a text and pictures to the Manager. No response. Several repeats of text were sent, and then I left a phone message. He calls me back on the 28th of January. He came out the next day, looked at the flooring and stated, yes those seams were not like that. He said he discussed with laborer who did the cleaning and there were only 2 seams he saw when he was out. He admitted to me, that they may have over cleaned when they removed the polish. He said he would get back with me. To no avail, no response until i texted him again on February 18th, to see what he has come up with? Once again, i am having to contact him. His response was "oh, i talked to my GM, and we will refund your cost of cleaning". Seriously, you have ruined a $9000 flooring? He said, "well you waited to lon g, its been 2.5 months". I am thinking to myself, its been 1.5 months to contact you and wait for YOU" ..Lets not talk about time. He admitted to what happened when he came out, and now he says why did i wait 2.5 months to contact him? Why does it take Stanley steamer 1.5 months for me to wait and you return to tell me, you will reimburse me the cleaning costs? Im not saying they intentionally did it. I feel they were trying to do a good job, but in the meanwhile overcleaned/overworked my laminate flooring which is now damaged and going to need replaced. Please see pictures of my seams. So sad, that i have to use my funds to replace my flooring because Stanley Steamed over did my floors. I dont even want to give them 1 star read more

This company in Tyler has really gone down. Used to work here twenty years ago when Tim Hopper was over it. Time Crew done a fantastic Job. Keith Henry the branch manager now does a poorly job ,of making sure his employees are piper trained for the job. Don't let this crew do your work. Streaks are left in upholstery, leaving behind dirty residue . Looks worse than when it was cleaned. Employees run through your carpet not getting it clean . Save your money and time. Your better off getting a rug doctor ,or another professional. read more

Overall experience: Cleaning service - satisfied Technicians - very satisfied Price - satisfied Customer service (office) - somewhat dissatisfied (See details below) I scheduled Stanley Steemer to come to my apartment and clean the carpet in two bedrooms and the tile in my living room, kitchen, and bathroom. I thought the price was a little high ($250), but the carpets are almost 20 years old and as far as I know, the tile had never been professionally cleaned before, so I wasn't too put off by it. The first visit was scheduled between 2pm -- 5pm on 6.18.19. The crew arrived at 2:00 on the dot! There were two of them. They were both courteous, professional, and respectful. They explained the process and told me what to expect and that I shouldn't expect 20 year old carpet to look brand new after cleaning. That was fine, I expected that. They were on site for almost 3 hours and both of them worked very hard. I was pleased with their efforts. I was slightly confused because my understanding from the web site is that the technicians would move the furniture out of the room, clean the room, and then move it back. That did not happen. They moved the furniture around in the room but never moved it out. I wasn't overly concerned by this because the rooms are very small and they seemed to be getting it all done. I was just confused (and still am) about the difference in what was described versus what was done. Later that evening, after the carpets had dried enough to start moving furniture back, I noticed that a place underneath a chest of drawers had been missed. Not that big a deal. It was an oversight and mistakes happen. But, it is in an area that can be seen so I wanted it cleaned. I called the next morning to schedule someone to come back and do that spot. And that is where the trouble began.... I was surprised when I was told that someone could come that day (6.19.19) between 1:00 and 4:00. Then a little later, the rep from the actual office near my home called and said they couldn't come that day because their techs were not near the area. So we scheduled it for 9:00 - 12:00 the next morning (6.20.19). At about 9:30 that morning, I called to find out if they were anywhere close. I had some errands to run and didn't want to miss them. I was told that the job they had before mine was bigger than they thought and it would be a couple of hours. Fine--that was still within the window. But, at 12:00 when no one had showed up, I called back only to find that they still weren't finished with the big job. 15 minutes later the technician called to tell me that he had gotten the van stuck and was waiting on a tow truck. He told me it could be up to 2 more hours. Well, that didn't work for me because I had already wasted the morning and I couldn't waste the whole day. He told me that he could come the next day, but when I told him that I wanted to be first on the list, he said he couldn't do that. I told him to have the dispatcher call me. Three hours later, the dispatcher called me and told me they couldn't come until next Tuesday (6.25.19). When I reminded him that I had not yet filled out the survey or posted a review online, like magic, he said someone would be here between 8:30 - 9:30 this morning (6.21.19) The technician arrived about 30 minutes late...whatever at this point. I told him what I needed done. Once again, he was professional, courteous, respectful, and he did the job quickly and efficiently. It seems to me that Stanley Steemer's best assets are its technicians. They need to do some work on customer service skills with the office personnel. I would use the service again and be more vigilant in my post-cleaning inspection. I would only cautiously recommend to friends. read more

We had Stanley Steemer out to clean 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a living area....bedrooms were carpet and others were tile. To begin with they called and rescheduled our time for 2 hrs earlier but didn't actually show up until they were 2 hours late. We basically had to wait around all morning and keep checking in with them to see what time they would be there. Their communication skills were lacking. We moved all furniture out so all they had to do was clean. One regular worker and one trainee came out to do the work. One bedroom wasn't that dirty before so it looked fine when they finished. The bathroom tile looked slightly better but you could really see where they didn't clean around the baseboards. The living room didn't look any different. The master bedroom looked horrible...it actually looked worse than it did before they cleaned it. It really looked like they used only water to clean it and left about 1 foot edge all around the bedroom. We allowed the carpet to dry as instructed. After 24 hours we called them back because we were very unhappy with the work. They sent another person to redo everything. It was a big difference from the first cleaning and he even said it looked like the first person just pushed water around and didn't actually clean it. Very disappointing in the first person cleaning and he was actually training someone to do the same thing. read more

Our carpet was HEAVILY soiled and pretty old and Keith and Michael made it look FANTASTIC! They did the heavy lifting and the company provided a "get ready for us" email a couple of days before coming out that was very helpful with the prep. Overall - I highly recommend this company. read more

I was satisfied with the service until my chair was slid on my freshly cleaned carpet leaving numerous stains behind. I understand that things happen sometimes, however, the employees attitude was "never seen that before", and that was all the concern they paid it! I asked them what they were going to do about it and they said they could try to remove it! Try-Really? They would have been just fine leaving it that way! They didn't even try to place my furniture back where it was originally place, making it exemely hard to put my house back together. Had my carpets and tile cleaned and had them whiten the grout in my bathroom. The carpets looked dirty with in the week. The white for the grout is all over my tile and I'm having to use a razor blade to get it off. Will NEVER use them again! Waisted almost $500! read more

I called on Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m. and Stanley Steemer said they could come out first thing Monday morning. I was so glad because I had most of the furniture moved out of the room for painters. The team came, got to work and finished up really quick! They even got my husbands spot out in front of his recliner, which is a tough stain/dirt mark. It was around 2' wide and they removed it. Also, they cleaned the traffic pattern that was pretty dirty as you walk into the carpeted area. The carpet looks like new. We were thinking of getting wood floors, but I think since our carpet looks so good, it will be cheaper to just have them to come back and clean it every few months. I was shocked at the difference. I had been keeping it clean with my Bissell 2X, but they showed me up! They were a nice couple of people who did the work and very friendly. I will request them again! Very pleased!!! read more
