After the plumbers left, the toilet would not flushed. They came back and fixed it no problem. But now the toilet is running hot water. About another two weeks later, one of our pipes they did not work on conveniently breaks. They come back out again and say they cannot fix it, but have to replace it for another 900.00. Can't say I recommend them due to all the issues that have occurred since they did the incredibly expensive pipe job originally. And after looking at additional reviews and reddit post about them, they do seem to be a scammy company. I'd recommend a local, non nationwide company.

The service technician (Trenton) went downstairs sat on the floor staring inside the unit , finally touched something inside and came upstairs and said everything looked ok. My husband had to ask him to look at the thermostat. He said everything was ok. I get a $170 bill for that and guest what it's still doing the same thing. I guess thanks for nothing. We will get help elsewhere.

The only…read morereason for the 2 star instead of a 1 star was because of the technician, Andrew who worked hard on our repair and it was not his fault for what the parent company Bratcher Heating and Cooling bills their customers. Bratcher cannot be trusted and will take you advantage of you. The thermostat went out over the weekend so called in a request for service on Monday. The repair technician did not have a spare thermostat with him so temporarily overrode it so the AC would work. All great so far. He quoted us $869 for a new thermostat plus labor plus he found a contactor on the compressor that needed to be replaced but the part was covered under warranty, about a 15-minute repair job. He would get the part and be back the next day, Tuesday to install the new thermostat. Tuesday afternoon received an email from Bratcher where their price was now $1,061 plus labor. I inquired about my discount because of the service plan that I pay each year and was told that the higher price was the discount price. They had me over a barrel especially after the technician rewired the AC to override the thermostat, so I approved the work under protest. Andrew returned to do the work, now the price of the thermostat has risen to $1,201.00 plus $70 of labor for replacing the part that was covered under warranty. We also paid $85 for the first day's visit. So we paid $1,271 today plus $85 yesterday for a new thermostat and a warranty repair. A new thermostat retails for $869.99. It can be purchased at Supply House for $838.39 and at Amazon with next day delivery for $685.02 with instructions to self-install. I was OK with paying a bit extra, $869 for a professional install but not OK with Bratcher continuing to raise the price to $1,201. Even with labor, which took the technician less than an hour to install and program that is a huge mark up, almost double of what you can buy online and install it yourself. Bottom line don't trust Bratcher and if you have a thermostat problem check how to fix it yourself of call another company to do the work. I saved all of the paperwork provided by Bratcher and research to prove my above statements.

The serviceman surveyed the situation, explained what solutions were recommended, and priced the job before he got to work. Thought the charges were reasonable too. Very pleased with his patience and attention to detail. He made sure to re-affix the outside dryer vent outtake thing, and put the lid back on the entrance to my crawl space. Hurrah! I had this company install a centra HVAC system and 2 mini splits. They did real well at first but then it turned into...we have someone else that needs us more so we are not coming out today, all of the sudden I was at the bottom of the list and it was 2 weeks later before they got back to me. Then it was...we are going to arive much later today than we scheduled because the guy who has the truck called in sick and all out stuff is in the truck. When you work and you have to take off to allow these types of services to occur in your home you count on them coming on the day and time agreed upon. This company is not super reliable in this respect. Now here the real cincher that I want you to be sure and consider before you hire this company. One of my two mini splits was leaking from the channeling running down the side of my house. I called and two times I was told they'd swing by and look at it. No one came. So I called again and when the crew member came I was working so my daughter let them in. They said they poured water into the tubing and it came out the other end of the tubing and NOT out the area that I saw it leaking from every day since the install. It never came out the tubing like it was supposed to but they swore it was. I waited all summer long for them to finally do what they said they would do. Then it was too cold to address the issue. A representative called - fishing for me to give them a good review - and I told her how unhappy I was, so they scheduled a time months out because I had to wait for it to warm up enough for the issue to be addressed. This time they took the channeling off and lo and behold the connector between two splices of hose had come disconnected and there was also a crimped place that had turned into a slit in the hoseline. So you tell me... how did water come out of the end of the hose when that crew member (Nathan) said he checked it and it came out like nothing was wrong. So he was not truthful. There was no way the water/condensation was discharging from the end of the hoseline because it was not a continuous line that had become disconnected AND it had a big slit in the hose. Just disappointing. I felt like, as a single woman, I was being taken advantage of and not receiving the level of service that I would have received if I were a man. Having said all this I will say that when Angle - a crew member- came out this last Monday 3-7-2025, (Yes I had to take off work, but he came and was on time.) It was a full 10 months after the install, he did what should have been done 10 months prior when I made them aware of my issue in the first place. Now my mini split is no longer leaking condensation, running down the side of my house. All is well - it just took lots of false starts, phone calls, time, aggravation, frustration and visits to get it right.

Things always work well after they care for them. We have the maintenance plan and it has served us well. We just had trouble with ac at the new house and he came by not long after I called this evening and took care of it. No charge since we have the plan. i highly recommend them!
