I had Stanley Steemer come out and clean my carpet downstairs and my stairs today. My carpet was in terrible shape. I had spots that had stained. I bet the carpet pad was stained too. It was gross. But within 2 hours, Stanley Steemer had it looking like new! Everything came up, and it was so much cheaper than buying new carpet. It was a little bit more than other places I called, but it was worth it. It looks and smells so fresh and clean now. I'm so happy with the result, and I will definitely be hiring them again! read more

Our Senior Cat urinated on our master bedroom carpet. It had probably happened a few times by the time we smelled it. We called Stanley Steemer and they were accommodate us within 48 Hours. We paid $10 extra for some super disinfectant and it was well worth it. The young man that came out was courteous and professional. He did a great job. At first we thought the odor was not going to go away and they were more than willing to come back out to do a courtesy re-shampoo but it was not necessary and our carpet looks and smells great. read more

Stanley Steemers cleaned carpets and cushions of formal dining room chairs. in the process they knocked large wood chips off the legs of 3 dining room chairs. They refused to acknowledge the damage or offer to repair the chairs. They told me to get wood glue and fix them myself. Richard the owner came out and played private detective so he could avoid having to pay for or repair the damage. They do a terrible job of cleaning carpets. Use their services at your own risk. read more

They made it right. Rescheduled for later today. Thanks. Prompt reply. ...... ............. .............

Much better than all the local companies I've tried. Ask for Cory-- very hard worker and pays attention to the details.

I cannot emphasize enough how very pleased I was with Stanley Steemer from the Bakersfield location. The young men that came out (Richard and Josh) were absolutely amazing! So very professional and customer focused. We had our sectional and dining room chairs cleaned. They did a phenomenal job. The furniture came back to life, just as if they were new! We also had our air ducts cleaned. Amazing equipment they used. Josh and Richard showed me and walked me through all of the steps and procedures that they were doing, with the ducts and furniture. I am so glad I called Stanley Steemer. I will definitely use them again. Next time, I will have my hard faux wood (vinyl) floors cleaned! read more

I called Stanley Steemer in Bakersfield after one of my friends had a great experience with them and recommended the company for duct cleaning. I ended up with the same worker, Richard, whom my friend had been so happy with. Richard was patient when I double-booked the appointment time and he worked with me to still meet me the same day. He explained the process to me so that I could understand it and feel comfortable, and he was efficient and thorough once he started. I thought the price was fair, and I believe I will feel healthier now that I am not inhaling all the built-up dirt and the particles that had been in my ducts. I would recommend this company to anyone, and I especially appreciated Richard's professionalism and positive attitude! read more

Carpets looked clean but smell was not lifted, even tho that was mentioned when I requested a quote. My stains are not old stains so they went away easily, but high traffic areas were so-so. The guy was polite but pretty upfront that he might not be able to resolve the issues as requested, which is not something a customer wants to hear before paying $149 for a service. I have my own carpet shampooer but I wanted the job to look more professional than what I'd do on my own.. was hoping for special touch such as pretreatment, deodorizer, or whatever tricks are used by professionals.. felt I could've spent an hour myself and saved my money. Guy was polite and patient as I had dogs in crates barking some of the time. All factors contribute to the rating. read more

Don't book Online. I cannot inform you if they give reasonable service or not. I booked online was given a price quote and an appointment date. I was sent two follow up emails to confirm the appointment date within one hour of booking for next day appt.. Two hours after booking, having taken the day off work and moved all the furniture to the garage, they called and informed me they weren't available anymore. Could we do another day, they asked? I informed them I had already made all arrangements and she said politely, your choice is reschedule or cancel, which one do you want? They were courteous I will say that, but that goes only so far when they don't show up as scheduled. read more

WE used this company for 10 or more years. We live in Tehachapi and didn't mind paying the $35 travel fee. This time they are advertising $199 special for 5 rooms. The last time I used them they over charged me for an extra room and instead of having them send a check I told them to just put a credit on our account. When I called to book this special I was told that they would not come here for less than $250, even though their special said $199 and all of a sudden my credit disappeared. I am very disappointed in this company. We have worked with Macias before and were very happy but now will use another company. There are many companies that want the business and I am sure will treat their customers right. read more

Stanley Steemer is as good as it gets, and Micah, along with his helper Ruben, is the best of the best. With zero sales pressure, Micah is one of the hardest working people you will ever meet. He bent over backwards to make sure we liked his work on our carpets and sofas. Add to that his polite, gentleman-like demeanor, and his attention to detail, and you end up with a very pleasant and satisfying experience. We will use Stanley Steemer in the future, and we will insist on having Micah be the one who does the job. You cannot go wrong with those two choices. Thank you, Micah and Ruben. read more
