This is a family owned business and they do their own installations. Ask them any questions and they know the answer. Other companies didn't seem to be interested in anything except making a sale. Everyone took their time explaining the different stove choices, EPA issues and what would work for us. When the install occurred, they kept our home spotless even dealing with an old stove removal. Wow. We just had Stanislaus stove & Flue replace our older free standing wood burning stove with a Lopi gas stove. The entire experience was a pleasure. We picked a beautiful stove and Chris took care of the rest +. There was plumbing, electrical and flu work involved and all was done exceptionally well and to the highest standard. Chris also found two cracked bricks and replaced them at no additional cost. There was no dust, debris or mess of any kind. the faceplate on my gas fireplace was broken. i contacted stanislaus stove & flue to find out if it could be fixed. chris came to have a look and determined the hinges on the faceplate were damaged. chris ordered replacement hinges and replaced them, and now the faceplate is as good as new. chris and marta are very nice to work with. marta is always pleasant and helpful on the phone, and chris is very knowledgeable and informative. many thanks for all the help! read more

Just went thru the purchase and installation of our new gas fireplace with Chris and Marta at Stanislaus Stove. Both Chris and Marta were extremely helpful in helping us make the right selection for our home. Chris came out to our home and reviewed our plans and ordered the unit we selected. During installation, we were absolutely impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail Chris exhibited. Blankets and tarps were placed, along with covering any furniture to minimize construction dust, etc. When he installed the gas line outside the house, he was very meticulous to make sure the lines were level, plumb and square with the house. Chris was very careful during the installation of the stack on the asphalt shingle roof to preclude damage to existing shingles. It should be noted that Chris himself does all the work rather than sending out a crew to do the work. He said several times, he prefers to be the only one doing the install to make sure it is done to his satisfaction. He has a helper merely to run for tools, etc. Clean up was also perfect. Everything was picked up and clean before he left. If you are considering a gas fireplace or an insert for your home, make sure you consider Stanislaus Stove and Flue in your decision. Follow up ten months later. We went on the annual inspection program with Chris and he came out today to check out our insert. He and his assistant worked like a well oiled machine. First removing the screen and glass and cleaning them thoroughly. Chris cleaned all around the insert vacuuming and wiping down the insert to remove any loose dirt or dust. He checked the insert for any gas leaks and check the logs. He then put the insert through several operational checks using the remote. He even brought batteries for the remote to replace the original ones. They left our home spotless like they were never there. read more

We just completed our purchase and installation with Stanislaus Stove and Flue. Our experience was wonderful. First of all Chris Joseph was extremely thorough explaining the process to us. He does all the installations so you have to be patient. He came to our house and made his assessment of our gas line, its location, and its capacity to carry to proper amount of fuel to the Insert. Day one of the install he connected the gas line and pressurized it for the inspector. Day two was the Insert install. It looks beautiful and Chris's connections to our gas meter and to the Insert are top notch according to the building inspector. About 5 years ago we purchased a gas insert from him. Now he services the insert. Both Chris and wife Marta are super friendly and courteous. We highly recommend them.
