I had to circle the block to find a parking spot half a block away. Why my low rating? I come from a nursery background and have been a professional gardener for 30 years. By day three, the roses had wilted so dramatically they looked like they'd just come back from Burning Man and needed to "find themselves." For clarity, we did everything properly. Fresh water. Trimmed stems. Clean vase. They were treated better than most houseguests. And yet, here we are. For the price, I expected romance. What I got was a botanical countdown clock. I would genuinely have been better off buying roses at Trader Joe's, and that's not something I say lightly after spending what I did. When you pay premium prices, you assume the flowers will last longer than a long weekend. It's disappointing because the arrangement was lovely and the presentation was great. But at this price point, durability should not be optional. Three days feels less like "Valentine's bouquet" and more like "romantic rental."
