Today I was presented with a plan, not at all unexpected in terms of time, number of visits, and cost. Then the whopper - we don't take your insurance. No adjustment whatsoever. Dr. Dale was referred to me by a friend, I am a musician as was he. Okay, so here's the honest truth the good and the bad. Everything you need to to know: First and most importantly, Dr. Dale is a true and amazing healer! Not only did I have constant neck pain but I also had migraines at least once a week and severe wrist problems that were holding me back from building a clientele as a hair stylist. After only a year of treatment I no longer had any wrist problems at all. Now I actually own the salon and I'm fully booked every day. I spend 8-10 hours on my feet with out a lunch break and constantly moving my hands wrist and arms with no back neck or wrist pain at all. I've also taken up hobbies such as snowboarding, drumming, and dancing. All of which require full body movement and strength and stamina. The negative comments that I have heard around town is that people feel like they get a sales pitch for his membership. I have to admit, the first time I felt the same. Now I feel that it is worth the commitment and he has saved money and my health most importantly. I rarely have the need for a medical doctor now. The membership is cost effective and it also forces you to complete your treatment. Chiropractic is a way of life and must be maintained to keep your body in balance. Dr. Dale has not only cured my wrist and back pain but he has taught me how to live a healthy life and encouraged me to maintain a healthy diet. When I first came to see Dr. Ellwein I was in terrible back pain caused by over doing it at the gym,.I had alot of pain going down my left lower back and sciatic pain going down my upper leg. I almost felt if though I was never going to walk normal again and had to use a walker & cane to get around in the morning, where my pain was more severe. When standing up I could feel the pain shooting down my back and leg . Dr. Dale took x rays and told me that the pain was caused by a spinal misalignment, vertebraes pressing against the sciatic nerve, in my lower back. Dr. Dale explained by doing spinal manipulations my vertebraes would get realigned, back in place, causing the pain to go away. I also mentioned that my posture, in my upper back was getting slouched. He mentioned that he would also work on aligning my upper back to improve my posture. I decided to give him a try. After the first manipulation the pain, in my back, lessened. As Dr. Dale continued to do a more manipulations my back pain kept getting less and less. also my posture has improved. I have been getting treatments since the beginning of November of 2017 and my pain went away during December. I thought it was going to take another month or two longer. I have been to several different Chiropractors in the past who use hot & cold treatments, traction, ultrasound, bending & twisting and electric therapy. I've just started attending the Standing Tall Chiropractor and even just after the initial session it really made a difference to my energy levels! I'm a 45 year old man with lifelong bad posture and I've notice a slow decline in my fitness and overall Wellness for the last few years since I gave up coastal rowing. My two visits to Dr. Dale didn't consist of any healing or solving my pain issue but instead trying to convince me that I had a long term problem that could only be solved by signing a year long agreement for thousands of dollars. When I asked about my reason for the visit I was met with a very negative response and was told that maybe I'm not a patient he wanted to treat. So, if you don't commit to a year long agreement and thousands of dollars he has no interest in your well being. I have been going to chiropractors for most of my life due to the many accidents I've had in my life. ( Skiing accident, multiple car accidents, and the one that really messed up my neck, that darn motorcycle accident. Don't ask......... ) The trick is , to find the right chiropractor who can really help you turn the corner and actually improve your condition. I think Dr. Dale is the right one. Before seeing Dr. Dale, I had been told that I would just have to live with the pain in my neck and to just "deal" with it for the rest of my life. Then, just this past year, on top of the pain, I completely lost my voice ( which is a very bad thing for a professional singer like myself...) I attended one of Dr. Dale's open House's and got all of the necessary x-rays and exams. He pinpointed the problem with losing my voice, and it was all due to the structural irregularities and subluxations in my cervical spine. After 2 adjustments, just 2, I GOT MY VOICE BACK!!! I go regularly now to maintain my voice and my overall health. True, it is not cheap, but is the best care you can get. I love this place! I'll be totally frank, my husband and I have been coming to Standing Tall for several months now. My husband found the office by chance online through a promotion. He was having severe back pain, it had been a constant thing for a long time at that point, he could no longer sleep lying down, he had to be sitting up all night. It was really bad, he has suffered from stomach ulcers in the past, so all the pain meds were really messing him up. He got temporary relief from his back at the cost of his stomach. So he went, and I'm not even kidding, about two weeks into it, he was literally able to sleep on his back, had a spring in his step and he was off the pain meds. I'm have always been a total skeptic, when it comes to alternative medicine, but watching him feel good without out popping pills made me willing to check it out. I had been suffering from chronic migraines for 17 years at least, it was so debilitating they would last for 3 days and leave me completely unable to function. We are the parents of six kiddos and I'm expecting number 7, so popping pills is not and has not been an option for me, I have been either pregnant or nursing for the past 11 years so that made pretty much all of the "good" stuff off limits to me. I kid you not, after having dealt with so much pain for so long, I and seeing my husbands wonderful results without pain meds, going to see Dr. Dale was the glimmer of hope I had been waiting so hopelessly for. So several months later, I have gotten a few nasty headaches, last only a day. I don't know exactly why this has worked, but it has. I had been suffering from severe knee pain since I was 19 years old, I am now 35, I thought I was going to have to wind up having knee surgery on both my knees like my mom, and here is the CRAZY AMAZING thing, so Dr. Dale aligned my jaw, and 2 days later I was PAIN FREE on both my knees!!!! I have been so for the last two weeks!!! This has not happened with anything ever before.
