This is your one stop shop. Do not waste any of your time with any other "practice" in town because that's exactly what the others are doing. I've been going to Dr Mike for 5 years. Normally for just general maintenance on myself. 3 weeks ago I lifted wrong and pinched my sciatic nerve the worst I ever have. Dr Mike was out of town and I went to another place and they tried to hustle me into 32 adjustments with a package to heal me. The second I said I just need immediate relief they basically refused to treat me and lightly brushed on me and sent me home. That being said I called Nina (Dr Mikes wife) and she said they were on their way home and Dr Mike adjusted me and I've needed a few, but now I'm pain free and back on to a life of comfort. I have been coming to dr. Tarr for years. Since I do a lot of physical work, when I need some adjustments, dr. Tarr is there for me. One time my back was out for 24 hrs, robin, his secretary was able to get me in on a short notice for a booked up Saturday and squeezed me in for 15 min session. It cured my back spasms and I was able to walk again without pain. Also dr. Tarr service is excellent, unlike other chiropractors who cheats you with your money to manipulate one part of ur spine then let you Leave, he believes that every part of your body is aligned properly. So if something goes out, then everything is out of proportion. With this mentality, he fixes your problem but he makes sure to check all of the body parts as well. He will also recommend the proper exercise with your injury when you heal. Also he doesn't believe in returning very often. Only when needed, so he really encourages to do exercise and strengthen our muscles to lessen the injury potential. I can't find a more honest chiropractor who doesn't just cheat me for my money. Dr. Tarr is the real deal. I've been seeing chiropractors since I was a teen (so, that's decades, folks). I've moved a lot and seen lots of chiros, some better than others. I always hate finding a new chiro because by the time I have to leave my current chiro I've kinda fallen in love with them they are so good. I moved to the Bay a year ago and put off getting a chiro. Dr. Mike is the best! Most chiropractors are quick and just work on your back. As I explain to other people, Dr. Mike adjusts you all the way from your tippy toes to your finger tips. He understands that if something's out in another part of your body, it is probably throwing off another part of your body. Plus he does all of this for just $50! You get quality work for a great deal! Many times I get a deep tissue massage from George to make my adjustment even more thorough. I recommend Dr. Michael Tarr without reservation. I have gone through many chiropractors over the years and he is the first and only one who really knows exactly what the problem is and what to do about it. And he does it, where many chiros are too afraid to actually DO the work required, giving only so gentle 'adjustments' as to be useless. Dr. Tarr seems to have a 6th sense of what needs to be done and does it, in my experience, with great success. I trust him totally, especially when he's adjusting my neck which can be scary for anyone. Working with Dr. Tarr, you get the certainty you are in good hands, he can only do the right thing. Complete trust is hard to have but Dr. Tarr has earned it. He is completely sensitive to the situation. At one point I had bad things going on in my hip & he worked carefully around it but successfully got results that helped. He's not afraid of moving things where they should go but carefully, knowledgeably. Somehow Dr. Tarr has a real deep understanding of what to do and how to do it. I have had lower back pain most of my life due to scoliosis and he is the only doctor who has successful treated me. I no longer limp, no longer have the pain I used to have.
