I knew that I wanted to paint the floor (bare wood in bad cosmetic condition, but structurally sound) so that spills, etc. were not a problem and that my furniture and equipment on casters could be moved easily when needed and not mark up the floor. I went in to the Wenatchee store prepared to buy what I thought would work. After talking to the young salesmen, it was obvious to them that I may be better served with an industrial coating. The guys were amazing and made me a true believer in this store's integrity. I went in there knowing very little, ready to spend a lot of money, and their advice was to come back when their manager was there so that I got the product that I needed to do my job right the first time. They took the time to learn what I was going to be doing in the room, what my goals were for appearance, and explained that they would love to help me further, but insisted that for the investment in time and money I was going to make that I speak with their manager that knew much more than they did about industrial coatings. I'll be going back during the week and talking with the manager to give his weekend salesmen a glowing review AND to get more information so I can make a sound investment.

Come on Home Depot! I went to buy a Brad nailer. On their app it was $80.00. I Got to the store and…read moreit was $89.00. So I went to the customer service desk to ask why the price difference. The middle age lady with the long hair and glasses told me she didn't know why the price was less maybe it was my military discount. I showed her my cart and said no that's the price before the discount if I even get it. She then explained all she can do is have me order it online then you I would have come back later in the afternoon because it takes time for the payment process. By the way I had cash not my card. I wasted a trip up and back for false pricing. Then they want me to come back in the afternoon to pick up the item from their app. Seriously if you are going to post a price then well it for said price. Needless to say I went to Lowe's and bought a Brad nailer. The lack of help and customer satisfaction at Home Depot was a FAILURE at best.

This place is the home of the Grapple. They tote the slogan "Looks like an apple. Tastes like a…read moregrape." I recently bought a pack from Safeway after a friend mentioned them to me. Because seriously, if I could have a huge grape, that would be so awesome. And I thought that they were a bio-enhanced mutant apple that tasted like grape, but actually it's a Washington Extra Fancy Fuji apple that has been infused with grape flavor. They come in a pack of 4 or already sliced and smell amazing. The taste was very subtly grape. But not so much natural grape, but the grape flavoring that you find in some candies. Nevertheless it was a good batch of apples, very crisp and juicy. The one thing I do have to gripe about is that I think they should have been pronounced Gra-ples. Instead of Grape-L. Gra-ples just sounds cooler phonetically.
