I hired Henry to rebuild a large 2-level deck on a vacation home I manage at South Lakeshore Drive…read moreChelan. I reside on the west side of the mountains so I'm unable to be there often. After meeting with Henry I felt at ease and trusted he'd do a great job. The project involved a partial tear-down while the house was simultaneously having the siding redone. Unfortunately, the siding project (which was hired by a separate company) turned into a complete fiasco...and that was when Henry stepped in and proved his excellence in service, skill, knowledge and all around great work ethic! As the old siding was removed, it was revealed that there was a substantial amount of rot to the house structure underneath. The siders made no mention of it to me and proceeded to install new siding over the extensive damage. Fortunately, Henry was there to observe what was happening and I put a halt on the siding until the structure was repaired. Henry knew exactly what needed done and he worked all through the cold winter to have the house ready for siding in the spring. There were areas where windows had to be removed and walls rebuilt, including the drywall on the interior. Henry proved to be skilled in performing all of the work with great results! He is an all-around handyman with excellent knowledge and skill in structural & deck framing, drywall installation & finishing, plumbing & electrical and more. I feel so grateful to have been able to rely on Henry when I really needed the help! I've since trusted him to be my go to guy for many other projects and he never disappoints.

Aaron N, you just can't let it go, can you? You have to give yourself a 5 star review to off-set…read morethe negative reviews you have received? Feeling a bit defensive? You are right. You did NOT sand my house. LET ME REPEAT: you cancelled at the last moment, after months of planning and several weeks of the opportunity for you to change the timing of your work. We had a deadline to get the job completed and you were not going to meet it by cancelling that weekend. YOU selected the date, we didn't. If you forgot that YOU selected a date that fell on Mother's Day, that is on you, not me. I didn't drive all the way to Chelan to meet you on the date that YOU selected (and I confirmed with you before driving from Seattle to be there for your scheduled work) to have you cancel the night before as I was driving to Chelan and then have you berate me because I wasn't happy about the significant inconvenience to our plan. You asked me to take down my review. You seem to "tell the truth attractively". And have highly selective memory. Rather than learn from the situation, you want to point the finger at your customer, who was merely trying to help you understand the impact of the choice you made to blow us off at the last moment because you "hadn't had a few days off for awhile". You didn't start your justification with an apology or even mention "Mother's Day" until after talking about how hard you had been working. Your definition of "professional" and mine are very far apart. I have never in my entire life experienced such a lack of basic human respect from a business, let alone a profound lack of "professionalism". And had a business owner outright lie and try to blame me for their bad choices. And refuse to take responsibility for their significant lack of control. This was an opportunity to learn from your actions and words and do better. Clearly you haven't. There is nothing that I hate worse than a bully. Of which you fall into that category. I will not keep silent when someone bullies others. Nor when I am on the receiving end of if. You are continuing to make my point. Still arguing with me? I will gladly post screen shots of the text messages and emails between you and I. Shall I?
