Scott is amazing, and we can't recommend Chill Out Dog Training enough!…read more We adopted a 9 month old, 80 lb (now 110 lb) golden retriever from a local rescue in mid-2023. A complete contrast to our older collie/aussie mix, he was full of energy and naughtiness (a puppy), and a nightmare to control. Prior to being surrendered by his (previous) family, he went through two weeks of out of home boarding/training, costing upwards of $7,000. We thought this would have helped with obedience, but boy were we wrong. Fast forward two and a half years, sessions with a certified behaviorist, and failed attempts to use an e-collar, we were at a loss. He constantly displayed leash reactivity, would lunge at cars and dogs, and made it so we would rarely walk anywhere. He almost broke my finger during a break free lunge at a dog completely across a residential street! At home, dog forbid another animal appeared on the tv; he would jump and bark at everything. Then we found Chill Out... After the very first session with Scott, our big boy golden was a different dog. Scott set is up with the right tools to refocus our dogs behavior and break him of his leash reactivity. That very first walk was pleasant and uneventful. We almost felt foolish for claiming bad behavior. What we needed was the right trainer and methods to help our dog change behavior. Like I said at the beginning, I can't recommend Chill Out Training enough.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

Within 5 minutes we were able to re-establish the training methods that work and get Hope back on track with easy leash walking. I am so impressed with her concise easy to follow instructions. I am looking forward to taking my two Samoyeds on walks again while walking my toddler in a stroller without having to worry that Hope will pull us. Trained dogs are safe dogs and I'd pay for the training with Juliet 10x over. Worth every penny! It makes my life easier as a single mom managing all the things to have two dogs that get to enjoy being outside with us because I trust them and they trust me. Don't hesitate if you need help with your dog!

The location is easy to get to with plenty of available parking. However, I wish there was a doggy potty area by the entrance, it's just concrete. The hours are fantastic, from 6AM - 9PM. I have only used the day care service. Note, if you drop off before 7AM and/or pick up after 7PM there is an additional $10 fee. Skiptown is the only place I've found in the Denver area with daycare pick up after 7 PM. Most of the time when I drop off other than early morning there has been a wait for my dog to taken back. To get started you need to download the app. Everything is done thru the app - scheduling daycare, payments, vaccination records & arranging a first time observation visit, which is required. The staff is super friendly & attentive. There have been a couple times that Skiptown called with concerns about my dog. And that I greatly appreciated. Overall, a great choice for doggy daycare.

I provided pre-portioned meals with clear written instructions and confirmed them twice -- once over the phone before drop-off and again in person. The instructions were simple and routine. Despite that, my dog was not fed dinner, and her breakfast instructions were only partially followed. More concerning, when I reached out after noticing their app did not show her dinner as completed, I was told she had been fed. That information was incorrect. I also did not receive any of the updates or reports that were expected during her stay, and my message to support went unanswered for approximately 9 hours. At pickup, I was handed back her untouched dinner along with the remaining portion of her breakfast, confirming the instructions had not been followed. When I raised this with staff, the only resolution offered was a credit toward a future stay. This experience reflects a breakdown not just in communication, but in executing the most basic responsibilities of pet care.

They completed a two‑week boarding school followed by five follow‑up sessions, and the results have been fantastic. Quinn was professional, knowledgeable, and truly invested in our dogs' success. She did a great job not only training Nash and Parker, but also teaching us how to maintain and build on what they learned once they came home. The follow‑up sessions were incredibly helpful and showed how much she cares about long‑term results, not just quick fixes. We saw noticeable improvements in behavior, responsiveness, and overall confidence in both dogs. It's clear Quinn is passionate about what she does, and we felt comfortable knowing our dogs were in great hands. I would highly recommend Quinn to anyone looking for a skilled and dedicated dog trainer

She brings such a calm, knowledgeable, and thoughtful approach to training, and it's clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. We saw real progress with our dog, Kendrick, in a relatively short amount of time. What truly set this experience apart, though, was how Quinn handled a scary and unexpected situation. During Kendrick's initial board-and-train, he had a seizure. Quinn stepped in immediately, took great care of him, and kept us informed while we rushed home. Knowing he was with someone so attentive and compassionate made an incredibly stressful moment much easier. On top of that, Pavlov honored the remaining portion of his training, and Quinn welcomed him back once he was ready to complete the program. That level of flexibility and integrity speaks volumes. We're so grateful for Quinn -- not just for the training, but for the trust and care she showed when it mattered most. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst experience we have had with a service-oriented company. We should have…read morerealized that the "no refunds" clause is there for a reason! They do not stand behind their claims that they can work and change the most difficult dogs. They flatly told us we could not have a refund for the money they basically stole from us, nor would they offer another training session with a different trainer. Needless to say, we are bewildered, disappointed and angry! Our dog came home with NO BEHAVIOR CHANGES, NOR DEMONSTRATED OR LEARNED CORRECTIONS. Without explaining every detail of our experience, and I'm sure KoruK9 will refute or deny this is a valid review, please know and describe every specific thing you want for your money, before hiring KoruK9. Ask them to put, in writing, exactly what to expect from you dog when he or she comes back from 3 weeks away in a trainer's home. Don't let them tell you 30 minutes, walking your dog, is part of the one hour in home training! The initial session, ok. But not each additional session, unless you feel $200/hour is worth that from the trainer. READ ON IF YOU CARE. BUT BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY. We understand that there can be no guarantees with each dog, but we asked KoruK9 to explain exactly what we were to have expected, other than the fluff of their maketing claims. Neither Jenna, or home office coordinator, Seyonna, could give a definitive answer. The only thing our dog came home with is a new e-shock- collar (which we paid, additionally, for). Jenna sent 8 videos (maybe 12?, in 21 days) of her "training" our dog to stay on the raised mat with the "place" command. In 1 video, our dog was leashed to the fence so she could not physically leave the mat. That particular training video shows our dog continously trying to leave the mat. There was never a video showing Jenna had succeeded in instilling the behavior with her command. Our dog came home and still could not keep her "place" on the mat. Jenna suggested we must use the E-shock-collar. She warned us to be careful not to hurt the dog, and showed us the horrible burn marks on one of her own dogs. Our dog is not that difficult, but she does not get along with our other dog, and she is very aggressive with small children. Yes, a critical situation. Jenna initially told us that there are no guarantees, as each dog is different, but she was confident she could help us. She failed to tell us, at that intial meeting, that she has 2 of her own dogs would "kill each other" if left alone. When she brought our dog back, she immediately growled and pulled on leash toward our smaller dog. Jenna told us we should keep them apart, in kennels, or tied to doorknobs. Like we hadn't been doing that before $3400 and her "training"! Another of the exercises in our training experience here at home, was a 30 minute walk each of the 3 times Jenna provided "training" for our 2 dogs together. I had to pay an extra $107 for her travel to our home, as well as a training fee for our other dog . I cannot share every disappointing detail here, and I'm sure KoruK9 will have a rebuttal or refute to some of what is shared. Be aware of exactly what you want for your dog and your family, BEFORE PAYING KORU-K9 UP FRONT AND IN FULL. Ask for specific written plans from them. ASK FOR DAILY EMAILS. If you are concerned, discuss, or take dog home. Do not let them tell you they are laying a foundation, or some other fluffy, non specific nonsense.

Car rides were awful, we had to cover our windows so he would not react to people or dogs walking by, and he even reacted to cartoon dogs on TV. After Jose's 16 day program Otis came home like a completely different dog. Even after the first few days we could see his confidence growing and every group class showed more progress. Other dog owners even commented on how much he had changed. I truly never thought I would see Otis running around playing with other dogs but now he is a normal, happy dog.
