COVID-19 TESTING!! Two of us went to the Cherry Lane location for drive-up testing. We called the…read morescreening number in the morning, answered questions asked by a real human (Brianna? very comforting yet professional), and were advised to head for testing. Right at the driveway, we were met by clear signage, AND a very pleasant nurse who made sure we went to the correct part of the lot. We had ZERO wait time (mid-morning, on Day Two of this site opening!). Another nurse came right away to take our info, briefly explain next steps, and direct us to a parking (waiting) area. I note they had all of us using every OTHER stall -- good automotive distancing. Every step of the way (more screening questions; a phone call from admin from inside the building; time with either a doc or PA, and then the testing swabs themselves), St Al's personnel were cheerful, efficient, and reassuring. I was really amazed at how smoothly the entire process flowed (especially having seen the news about the zoo that is St Luke's' testing). We received two tests -- flu, and Covid. The flu results were ready in about 20 minutes. In addition, because of symptoms, a prescription was phoned in for us -- and was ready in just a couple of hours at our pharmacy. (Covid results take 7-10 days.) Shouts out to the entire crew working on March 19, at around 10am. PA Jose Gomez was kind - but still efficient - in assessing us. He also gave very clear information, and directions for what to do while awaiting results. The nursing staff we encountered were awesome. We felt well cared-for, and as prepared as we could be. Thanks to you frontline folks! And btw -- St Luke's took 48 hours to just call us back for "triage" nurse screening! With St Al's -- from the screening phone call to flu test results -- about two hours. Not saying this will be the same for you, but they are working hard, and seem to have process flow down well.

Ok, where do I begin?! Back in high school I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I learned then that…read moremost doctors don't believe in things they don't understand; and they would rather insist "everything is OK" than take the time to figure out the mystery. So you can imagine my surprise when I met Dr. Vance. I went in for a small problem, and then quickly realized that he could solve the issues that I had grown so accustomed to I didn't even think they could be changed. That's right! I had given up on experiencing any kind of change with things like: energy level, moods, sleeplessness, immune system. Right away, Dr. Vance suggested we try tackling some of the bigger problems. I was skeptical, but had nothing to lose--so I said, "Sure, why not!" -Months later, I've got my energy back. -I don't get sick all the time--and if I do catch a bug, it's NBD. -I'm sleeping!! And waking up ready for the day! -I'm in control of my moods, instead of the other way around! ;) Dr. Vance uses a myriad of techniques to address symptoms. He uses lab reports as a starting point, but is more concerned about how the patient FEELS and FUNCTIONS than the numbers on a chart. Dr. Vance has educated me throughout the process, so I know exactly what's going on and why, and I know how to adjust protocols to fix any new problems. WHAT?! Dr. Vance explains information simply, without pretending he's the only one in the room smart enough to understand it! This practice was run by a wonderful PA for the better part of a decade. This doctor was…read moreuninvoloved in the practice yet would not compensate his staff fairly and ran them out of town. He then belittled all the patients she had supported, had zero bedside manner, won't listen to patients well being and is arrogant. He does not care about the patients and runs it like a shoddy 3rd rate money grab. He has zero skills in endocrinology and pushes it all off to assistants, he doesn't even stay in the room during your visit. Run away from this practice.

He is with St. Luke's in Boise idaho. I checked my electronic medical records to see the notes he wrote about two weeks after the appointment. There were so many false statements and out-right lies put in my record, I couldn't believe it!! He stated I had COVID Pneumonia and Lupus! I've never had EITHER!!! I don't know where he got that information. It also stated he gave me a physical exam.......we were sitting across the room from each other and he never came near me! This guy is incompetent. I wrote St. Luke's about him and gave him a bad review. He's the worst I've ever been to......stay clear of him!
