We have been working with Stahl's for the last 5-6 months. We order vinyls for jerseys often as well as names for jerseys. Most of what we order is not been custom and are pre-made. Their turnaround is sometimes as quick as a day at the least to a 2-3 days. They provide us with good quality vinyl for our products. They also have reasonable prices on their heat press as well. We have one of their heat presses, the Fusion IQ, which allows for interchangeable plattens. The fusion IQ Makes it easy to change from sleeves, hats, t-shirts, etc. The heat press is easy to use and easy due to the leverage and is more effortless for long days of production. It's more precise for pressure and temperature as well. There's an Air Fusion IQ that's almost double the amount but it requires a compressor, not included and would require adding lines in the store. They are good about customer service here as well. read more

I've used Stahls mostly for their premium plus material (which I love) and have no complaints with the material or their service. I placed an order for multiple small sections of material and received them well packaged in individual rolls secured in a box. Really good packaging. The material cuts great, weeds easy and presses well. It looks like ink when it's done and is great for spot color work on apparel. When I was setting up my account, an offer for a $5 sample pack popped up but glitched when my login timed out. I really wanted to see some of the samples in that pack so I messaged them through their website and they sent me the samples for FREE. Great service! The selection of products they offer is somewhat daunting, but I plan to work my way through as demand dictates and if what I've ordered so far is in any way indicative, I'm expecting to be impressed. I just wish that they offered will-call pickup since there's a location nearby. If decorating clothes, bags, pillows and stuff is something you do or want to do, you should really give them a look. read more

I was on the phone with a Stahls representative while placing my order online so that I would make sure to get exactly what I wanted. I was ordering a ten-piece set of ZERO-THROUGH-NINE numbers. Five days later I get a zip-lock bag filled with ten number "1"s ! I call to complain and their charmless phone representative told me it's my fault, no refund, etc. The representative stated this without even a hint of sympathy or care for the customer. I admit I am not the brightest bulb in the box. I have a masters in economy from Cal and all I have to show for it is a crappy low-paying job and 100-grand in student debt BUT the Stahls website definitely needs some quirks and kinks worked out if it thinks I wanted ten "1"s instead of the 0-9 it indicated that I was ordering. I frankly wonder who would even want ten "1"s to begin with. Anyway, some of their phone staff are nice but there's a serious stinker in the bunch -AND- this company could care less about leaving me to feel screwed-over. read more

I would like to register my complaint with Stahls. I was on the phone with them to place a re-order on a custom cad cut order. There was going to be a color change on the material. When I received the order from them, the adhesive backing was missing. Since this was an intricate design, I needed this to hold the material on the garment. When I called them to complain, they said that they they gave me what they told me I had agreed to ordering. Additionally, they told me that they didn't have time to review past orders - it was my responsibility. So in order to get the order redone ($300), they would give me a 15% discount and pay for overnight shipping. I had no choice but to get this done from them. Be very careful when you order from Stahls. Even though they have computers like the rest of us, they don't use it to verify and make it their mistakes, the customers responsibility. read more

I purchased a roll of Express Print for T-shirts. You absolutely cannot get the material off the backing (in some areas). Some of it is just fine, others, impossible. When I talked to Stahls, they won't let me talk to anyone about it. Just the salesperson. They are replacing it, but I'm concerned it won't be any different. I cannot be the only person in the world with this issue, but "We don't have any reports of problems with this product." When I asked how she would know, she was silent.
