I've been to a number of them, including the Stag Shop downtown (which was not exactly a great sex shop experience). Recently, Aren't We Naughty renovated their Pickering location and expanded into the shop behind theirs. Prior to this renovation, the store was adequate size but the clothing/lingerie section dominated the back of the store and it was a bit small. Following the renovation, the sections have been well defined and the entire store looks much better. It looks less like a sex shop and more like a higher quality adult store - a little more refined, much higher class (if possible) and generally offering a better shopping experience. One of the things I noticed on my walk through was the new product offerings - Aren't We Naughty is carrying some of the very newest product lines in vibrators, which was surprising as before there wasn't much of a feature area for new products. Now they have some of the higher end newer product lines out for display where you can see them away from the huge wall of toys. There's also a wide range of toys at varying prices; if you want a vibrator for $10, they've got them, and if you're willing to spend a few hundred, they've got those too. Something for everyone at Aren't We Naughty. Along with increased customers due to the opening weekend, there was more SPACE. You really don't want to be shoulder to shoulder with someone while contemplating what dildo to buy, so the improvement with layout and space is great. Another plus of the new layout is that if you're looking for something specific, like flavored lube, anal toys, clothing, vibrators, adult play, etc, its very easy to navigate through the store and find what you're looking for if you want to get in and get out in a hurry ;) Overall, this store is easy to shop at, considering the kind of store it is (not everyone is comfortable walking into an adult shop), its not intimidating, the staff is friendly, discreet when necessary and very knowledgeable.

The store is well divided into sections based on what you're looking for: Costumes/lingerie, toys, porn, games (some of which seemed hysterical), bondage stuff, and bizarre specialty items. It's strange that I can now say that I've seen a rubber vibrating mould of a male porn-star's ass for sale. What a country! The costume selection was solid, if pretty generic. Then again, you can never go wrong buying your girl a hot schoolgirl, maid, or referee costume. There were very few men's costumes, but I wasn't looking for one for me anyway. What really makes this place shine are the employees. The 2 women behind the counter were hilarious! They were always ready to answer any questions, and yet not intrusive in such an intimate store. They were also more than happy to throw out some pretty hilarious comments regarding certain items I was walking by, and about how cracked-out the store's neighborhood is, after hearing the tale of the prostitute in the parking lot.
