such a fun night, amazing bartender and awesome sexy dancers ;) food was delish and not just because we were drunk . lol great place for our first time at a gay bar in portland! totally different experience than LA and absolutely worth it

10/10 would recommend! We decided to do their drag brunch on a Saturday and it did not disappoint. For $35, we got an all-you-can-eat buffet that had delicious food on top of a three-hour show. From cookies n cream waffles, with fresh fruit and sides, to drag queens dancing on roller skates, we would absolutely come back. Please note this wasn't a regular drag show, it was so much more. Yes they did have queens lip singing and dancing, but they also had a comedy portion, a live singer with original songs, the cook on a stripper pole and a roller skating queen. It was non stop entertainment. Make sure you come with plenty of ones (and they will break 20s if needed), and an empty stomach!

Event description, no "20% gratuity added to tab," anywhere on the site.

Disgraceful. Either scammy bartender, or management asking the staff to do illegal things. Pride 6/18/22 I joined clients at Stag for drinks. I ordered drinks for all of us, my card was swiped. Because I had joined CLIENTS for an event, I needed a receipt for tax purposes, but I wasn't offered one. I asked if the outside bar also had access to my card, and the bartender with the Mayan tattoo shoulder piece had maybe assumed I would make my way to both. He VERBALLY CONFIRMED that was the case, which made sense because it's illegal for a bar to have two different POS systems. So I went outside with my card, ordered more drinks for me and clients, only to be offered a receipt by the bartenders at the "block party." I was suspicious, but didn't want to assume one of the few queer bars in town would be so stupid. However, I still needed my first receipt to be able to write it off, and I wasn't able to tip the first bartender. I head back inside, wait, and when I'm finally helped , I order one more drink, and ask to close my tab, to which I'm told I don't have a tab. I inquire what that means, and am told I have to wait. I wait, but while I'm waiting, another gentleman tells me his partner also wasn't offered a receipt, and he was curious why. I catch the bartender again, and tell him I need a receipt so I can write it off and tip him, to which he tells me the outside bar iPad is where I need to close my receipt? And, there is an automatic charge of 20% for gratuity, which I absolutely did not consent to, and, I'm attaching a screen shot of the event description where they absolutely do not mention a additional 20% added to all tabs. I told him that is fraudulent if he can't provide me with my receipt, which is harsh, but true. During this time I watch at least 7 other patrons get their cards swiped, and the iPad turned to them so they can add gratuity. This is beyond taking advantage of patrons on a weekend that's suppose to celebrate lgbtq+, it's shameful and disgusting.

Great service! Fun entertainment! Great way to gather the cool family and have fun and make memories! I wasn't expecting much from the buffet - but omg sooooo good!!!

What fun! Went out to their Sunday Drag Brunch hosted by Angel Phoenix and it was such a blast! The performances were spectacular, the Angel was hilarious, and my god did those queens work it!! Enjoyed the morning so much and felt like it was a great way to spend the Sunday. I reserved and prepaid online for a table, and sure enough when we got there, there was a table with my name on it! The doors opened at 11am but the show didn't start until 12:30. The brunch buffet was open around 12 and was full of brunch staples like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, biscuits, gravy, fruit, and more. The food was honestly pretty tasty and when you think about the fact that the show + brunch was only $15 a person, it's super worth it! Drinks were $3 bottles of mini champagne plus a mixer like orange juice, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. Stag PDX is located in an easy to find and lively area and in the morning parking was not hard to find in front. The place was quite small, but it was a great vibe inside and out everyone there was a lot of fun. The jokes can get quite inappropriate, so be prepared and this may not be the place for you if you aren't a fan of dirty jokes. There also were some interactive parts of the show which were fun too. Overall, this place was awesome and all of us who went loved it - we are even thinking of making it a tradition for ringing in the new year! Can't recommend enough if you want a drag brunch in Portland. Great for anyone over 21! Can't speak to the night time happenings, but for at least one Sunday morning, it's a must. Also, bring LOTS of $1 bills ($5 ones if you're feeling spendy). These queens work hard for those tips!

Remodeled several times since opening several years back, it's a fairly interesting wall. Drinks are good and well priced. Music is always ear shattering especially when the exotic dancers come out at 9 pm...cheers

This is an amazing atmosphere if you are looking for a fun drag brunch! I have gone to two shows and I have never been disappointed. The performers are BADASS and putting on a show of a lifetime. They never disappoint and you can never go wrong with $1 mimosas The performers really know how to make the crowd go wild! I highly recommend getting tickets early because they do sell out fast! It is also first come first serve on food. The food isn't be best but I really went to see the performers sooo it won't stop me from showing up!

The best thing to come from SNL in years is, without a doubt, Stefon, the uber-hip club kid and…read moreCity Correspondent on SNL's Weekend Update. His recommendations for things like "family-friendly holiday activities" or Mother's Day brunch inevitably begin with "NY's hottest club is..." and he then goes on to describe completely absurd parties that sound like "visions a dying gay man would have if he was under too many blankets", including all-night secret raves featuring performance art like "human luggage" (midgets on roller skates you wheel through airports). Compare some Stefon skits with the usual descriptions of Blow Pony, and I'll bet my boa you might not be able to distinguish them. After all, BP's got bears, chubs, hawks, cocks, pigs, trannys, queens, shirt lifters, pillow biters, crap stabbers, furries, femmes, and knob shiners. Stefon would feel right at home, especially if it was Teddy Graham Night (you know... men with short arms and big bellies). Blow Pony, a monthly event, was started in 2007 as a place where "all our brothers and sisters felt welcome and loved." They list their primary concerns and involvement as being in queer rights, trans rights, women's rights, and "a search in the dumpster for more trash." There's a big sign at the entrance making it known that if you are racist, homophobic, sexist, or just generally do not like hard-partyin' weirdos, this is not the party for you. The venue itself (Rotture/Branx) is a filthy, hot, sweaty mess, and it does get packed to the gills. You will meet new friends. You will get drinks spilled on you. You will be dripping sweat from head to toe. You will dance with strangers. You will see people of every imaginable body type wearing anything from... well, nothing, to clown suits, to pony costumes, to dominatrix outfits. You will also see people in jeans and tshirts; it's definitely not about the wacky get-ups but those are a bonus. There are generally 4-5 different DJs for each event, both upstairs (Rotture) and downstairs (Branx), frequently out-of-town guests and some local celebs. There's a no-frills bar on each level, pouring beer and simple mixed drinks in plastic cups. The bathroom lines get insane. Just past the pinball machines on the upper level, there's a rickety old deck that I cannot believe has not been shut down yet. It gets so goddamned hot in the party, everyone pours onto the deck, and you can feel the damn thing swaying, like it's going to give out any second. It overlooks the Tazo tea factory, which gives off a most wonderful aroma, thank God. I've seen some wicked crazy shit at these parties. I don't really have a more eloquent way to put that. Once, a woman on stage in a hot teal corset threw a chain around my neck. I found out later it was a famous singer that I didn't recognize. At the last BP I attended, I got motorboated, on stage, by a woman in red underpants, and danced with a man dressed as a skunk. This was moments before we convinced an especially attractive but normally shy friend of ours to ascend the go-go dancer platform. Clothing was removed, and that's probably as much as I should say. Five stars for the enthusiasm and for Keeping Portland Weird, though I could break that down to less for some of the trickier aspects of these events, like the super-long lines, icky bathrooms and occasionally less-than-stellar DJs. BUT, I still go with a fiver for the general wacky experience. There is a good time to be had here, people. When the DJs are good, they are very good. One of my favorite Stefon bits - "New York's hottest club is Twice... where you will be greeted at the door by a Rabbi that looks like Joaquin Phoenix... and human fire hydrants. You know, it's that thing when high-waisted midgets have, like, the red pants and the big ass." Or, even better - "New York's hottest club is Creep... lights, psychos, furbies, and screaming babies in Mozart wigs." I wouldn't put any of those things past Blow Pony, no sir. If Bill Hader, the gifted actor who plays this Stefon gentleman ever comes to town, I will make it my personal mission to get him to attend, solely for more (and non-fiction!) material for the skit. It's a helluva good time and one of about 178764 reasons I love Portland, where this kind of debaucherous behavior is not only normal, but welcomed and encouraged. We are blessed, dear reader. Blessed by the Pony. Psst: If you haven't seen a Stefon skit, here's an example http://www.mediaite.com/online/bill-haders-stefan-struggles-to-keep-a-straight-face-on-weekend-update/

We enjoyed the lounge and drinks before making our way from their Rainbow Room way into the NightClub which is a mix of everything. Still the best Lemon Drop I've had to date! It didn't really get busy until late here - like midnight, which is wild for weekend. All the security and staff were personable and they had a cool drag show we caught most of. Rideshare is also fairly easy in the area also. The MAX light rail and local transit service usually end by midnight most days, even on weekends. Cheers to coming back soon #FlashbackFriday
